s. They mentioned some inappropriate comments were made to some guests when requesting songs (feeling sexual in nature) and even barking at a couple guests I assume as a joke.
Our coordinators said at the end of the night of our wedding, they will not work with him again, as he was unprofessional and condescending. Our final details call the week of the wedding to just go over last minute things was disregarded. The bartenders described a situation about making inappropriate comments such as “your pheromones smell sexy” while later in the night called them bitches due to timeline issues to my understanding.
All of this was brought to our attention after the evening was ending, so it was a big shock and a disappointment as we thought the day went mostly well.
The music choices kept everyone moving and announcements were given throughout the night. Slight mishap on announcing cake cutting a second time instead of our first dance, but nothing of major concern. He seemed nice to us on the phone and we were looking forward to working with him. Pricing was fair and we really enjoyed the up-lights. It is sad to look back on after hearing our guests and other vendors did not enjoy the experience like we had hoped for our special day. Our venue recommended him highly, but we would not recommend to our friends and family to him.

He came in on Friday night before my wedding on Saturday, set everything up, tested mics, introduced himself to the groom and made it known if we need anything, he would do it for us! He was so reasonably priced.. especially for the amazing services he had provided. I can't give this man enough credit for listening to me, standing up for my requests/ lists, and just being so supportive through the whole wedding and reception. RUN, don't walk to book this man and his team. You WON'T regret it!!

veryone loved him and said he was great my groom who wasn't able to be involved in selecting our vendors due to a short time frame and work said he was absolutely amazing. As some one who didn't have a planner and did it all our selves he was easy to communicate with and offering ideas and help with timeline from his years of experience. Definitely highly recommended to everyone planning a wedding in the area.

The setup was done before we even got there Friday for decorating and they showed us how to turn things on so we’d have music for our rehearsal dinner and decoration time at the barn. There wasn’t a moment when we didn’t have a packed floor, a wild dance move, someone on the microphone, the best music line up… And he even lit up our room with a perfect snowfall. John was the most responsive, diligent, trustworthy, flexible, and a heck of a good time. He truly has a gift of making a vision come to life and seeing it through. We are so thankful we chose John to celebrate with us and couldn’t recommend Elite Lighting and Sound more!

ohn let me hand pick all the songs I wanted. I chose about 60% of the songs played and John completed the rest of our playlist perfectly matching our vibe. He also truly went above and beyond by staying longer than the contract originally agreed upon. What a party. What a guy. Highly recommed.
