John was great we had a much smaller turn out that expected but he made sure to get people on the dance floor and helped keep the day running smoothly from one thing to the next. Everyone loved him and said he was great my groom who wasn't able to be involved in selecting our vendors due to a short time frame and work said he was absolutely amazing. As some one who didn't have a planner and did it all our selves he was easy to communicate with and offering ideas and help with timeline from his years of experience. Definitely highly recommended to everyone planning a wedding in the area.

Shane was great! He even helped clear plates off the head table so they wouldn’t be in the toasting pictures. The timeline we made with John was perfect and all our other vendors had no problem following our list. The setup was done before we even got there Friday for decorating and they showed us how to turn things on so we’d have music for our rehearsal dinner and decoration time at the barn. I couldn’t begin to recommend these guys enough!!! If you’re looking for the best, Elite Lighting & Sound are THE BEST! So glad we got them for our wedding at the Weathered Wisdom Barn! ❤️

Words will never do John Marsi and Elite Lighting and Sound justice, but we can try! After waiting two years for this celebration due to Covid-19, all we wanted was a packed dance floor with our favorite people… and possibly some snow for our December wedding. Well, John, went above and beyond to make both of those dreams come true, for us. There wasn’t a moment when we didn’t have a packed floor, a wild dance move, someone on the microphone, the best music line up… And he even lit up our room with a perfect snowfall. John was the most responsive, diligent, trustworthy, flexible, and a heck of a good time. He truly has a gift of making a vision come to life and seeing it through. We are so thankful we chose John to celebrate with us and couldn’t recommend Elite Lighting and Sound more!

John was fair and friendly to work with. He is the one you should book for your wedding. No one else from this company but john would make it the best for the best day of your life. Announcements. Voiceovers. Organizing the events of your special day - there is no room for do overs. Suggest sound checks the day before , mic checks. and going through each announcement. Practice makes perfect.

We’re so sorry that you and John we’re not happy with your wedding services. It’s unfortunate that the long time Elite Member (8 Years) that was scheduled to do your wedding got Covid less than a week before your event. We were i...
n a tough position facing certain cancellation… but rather than cancel with almost no notice… we did the best we could by finding a fill in person from another DJ business (Separate From Elite) as a sub-contractor on your event. Looking back.. we should have cancelled and let you pick your own fill in person… sorry we didn’t do that and I can promise you, we will never go outside our organization again to cover a date where an Act Of God cancellation is in order.
Moving forward… according to our post event conversation, the number one complaint you had was that our Free Ceremonial Sound System.. specifically the Grooms Mic wasn’t on. We’re very sorry this happened as this was a brand new wireless unit but as you witnessed upon our follow up meeting at your home… the unit was clearly defective. Remember.. if you pushed on the front of the transmitter body pack the unit blanked out..?? (Turned Off On It’s Own!) Thank God the Pastor’s mic didn’t fail!! This type of mic failure was a first for us and something we had no idea could happen. This unit has been replaced by Shure and they’ve apologized up and down and done their best to remedy the situation. As well.. we did give you a refund not paying the replacement person a dime following your wishes. Not sure what else we can do but I’d be glad to talk it over with you again if you’d like to reach out.

In need of a DJ who is 100% organized, family friendly meaning can mesh well with all find a date that Elite Lighting and sound can be a part of your special day! Kept the dance floor full all night. I had decor and flowers but honestly once all the lights were set up by Elite I realized I could have saved a ton of money no regrets but if you are on a set budget the value of ELS is outstanding. John made full announcements and helped keep the flow of the wedding. He is now part of the family!
After having to move our date 4 times due to Covid and venue changes we finally got it done! John and his team did an amazing job organizing our ceremony music and sound and our reception was incredible! John… hands down has got to be the best DJ EVER!!! Always reading the room and staying one step ahead of our musical wishes. He had us make a must have playlist before the wedding to make sure our favorites got played! You won’t go wrong hiring Elite Lighting & Sound for your wedding or special event. These guys ROCK!

John Marsi was wonderful to work with. Due to Covid we had to move the Wedding from May 2020 to Aug 2021 and he worked with us and made it happen! He was dialed into everything during the wedding/reception and Lakeview Patio at Lodge of Four Season’s was Perfect! One thing we added for after sunset was Glow Sticks for everyone…..definitely got even the non dancers up and ENJOYING the music🙌🎉🎶💃❤️ Perfect Day💍🥰

John responded to emails promptly as I was coming across questions/updates during the planning stages. The night of the wedding was a blast! He engages the crowd and makes sure people are having a good time!
John was the best DJ ever. I received many compliments that our wedding was a super fun party, and I think this was largely due to our amazing DJ! I'm very picky about music, and John let me hand pick all the songs I wanted. I chose about 60% of the songs played and John completed the rest of our playlist perfectly matching our vibe. He also truly went above and beyond by staying longer than the contract originally agreed upon. What a party. What a guy. Highly recommed. Oh also our names were displayed in lights on the floor with no extra cost which was a super cool surprise!

I highly recommend this company! We just got married a few weeks ago and John was our DJ. I was nervous because I went on a whim picking a DJ in an area I didn’t know any. He went above and beyond his “music duties” to make sure everything went smoothly. At one point, he even cleared my dinner plate so I could have space at the head table. Great company, you even get your names projected on the wall. Also very quick at responding to any emails!

We had our wedding at The Exchange Venue at the end of April and used Elite as our DJ services. I cannot say enough good things about the service - the night went off without a hitch, and that was in large part thanks to the template John provided us to help plan the flow of things. John has an amazing ability to read the crowd, and people were dancing until the very end of the night. John did a wonderful job as the DJ for my wedding. The music was correct and shorten when needed. The up lighting was an add touch that made it go from good to that that's awesome in the guests eyes. My husband and I had the most amazing experience with Elite Lighting and Sound, John was super professional and easy going which made me feel confident in his ability to keep the party going.
