ks and the galleries showed many natural looks, which is what I desired as I wear minimal makeup (eyeliner and mascara only when I do wear makeup) for events. Renee was always so quick to respond to any questions I had and she was so helpful during the consultation process. I decided to have a hair and makeup trial and was so glad I did. I did an online video call with Renee to go over what I wanted and she was able to relay that to the artists before the trial. The artists were able to match the pictures I had submitted for the looks I wanted very well. There were one or two things I did not like during the trial, but I was able to discuss that with them during the trial and they came up with an alternative option which I loved.
My hair and makeup the day of my wedding was exactly what I wanted and I have never felt more beautiful in my life! The artists also did a fantastic job with my bridesmaids and family members who also received hair services from Rebecca and makeup services from Mimi. They were all so pleased with how we looked and Rebecca and Mimi were a joy to interact with the day of the event. They made the morning fun and all of our hair and make-up stayed in place the entire day. If there is anything else that comes up in my life that I want to have professional beauty services done for, Elite will be my first choice after the wonderful experience I had with them. I would highly recommend Elite Make-Up and Hair for any beauty services you might have!

ty ahead of the day, to being right on schedule (and even ahead of it!) on the actual day - they were wonderful! My mom even asked last minute if they could add in one additional hair service than what we had booked, and they were able to squeeze in the service without anything feeling rushed or running behind. The flexibility and professionalism they exhibited were great! Everything was wonderful on my end, and I only heard great things from my bridesmaids and family members who also got services - everyone felt beautiful! As an example of the quality of their products and application as well, we had a very unfortunate situation happen on our wedding day (we had to put our dog down via video call from hours away immediately after our ceremony), so we were obviously very emotional. Despite crying much more than we had during our usual happy tears at the ceremony and having to wipe my face with kleenex in a not-so-pretty way, my makeup still looked great hours later until I took it off! I'd highly recommend Renee and her team to anyone looking for quality makeup on their wedding day that holds up to extreme situations and still manages to look natural and not overdone! Renee and our artists were so helpful and patient in helping me figure out a look that was both bridal and authentic to me. I made a lot of changes from the trial to the wedding day, and Rachel and Leslie listened, were flexible, offered their own ideas, and I was so happy with how everything turned out. Everyone else who received services looked beautiful too! Rachel, Leslie, and Joi were also lovely people, and helped my wedding morning feel relaxed and fun. I would definitely recommend them!

However, the makeup done on one of my bridesmaids who is Black was horrible. She did not even have the right shade of foundation for our Black bridesmaid, so her makeup was way too light and almost grey. We felt so bad for our bridesmaid and ended up refunding her the money she spent on makeup and just taking the hit of the cost. If you claim to be able to work on darker skinned clients, then all makeup artists need to have dark enough shades.

to my after-midnight inquiry. After looking through her website I knew that I'd be booking with her. After booking services for myself, bridesmaids, my mother and the grooms mother, Renee had a virtual video consultation with me going over how I wanted to look for the day.
I was so very apprehensive about having hair and makeup professionally done for my wedding. All that worry was put to ease after my hair and makeup trial. My artist, Joi, arrived at my home to complete my trial. I requested one (very) minor tweak during my follow-up on the trial services, and that information was relayed to Joi .
Both artists arrived on-site at my wedding venue early and I really appreciated the fact that everyone's hair and makeup was completed AHEAD of the provided schedule, which allowed for a stress-free wedding morning and day. All of my bridesmaids that received services looked fantastic and I also thought I looked spectacular during my wedding day.
I had to leave a review because everything about working with Renee Locher Makeup and Hair ran so smoothly, from booking to when services were performed. Thank you for helping make my day a success!

e pre-meeting questionnaire to list of recommended preparations for wedding/hair on the big day, Renee had a plan in place and really thought everything through. Not only that, but she is great at helping bring your hair/makeup vision come to life!
Unfortunately, the artist who was set to do my hair/makeup and my maid of honors hair/makeup had an urgent situation the morning of the wedding, which happens (even in the times we wish it didn't!!), and was going to have to be a little late. Renee answered my call bright and early on my wedding day and I knew after talking with her that she would get it figured out quickly. Renee was able to send a second stylist last minute with the main stylist and everything turned out so beautiful!!! I truly could not recommend Renee and her stylist more!

f, everything was seamless. I really felt like I didn't have to do too much.
Honestly, no notes. I don't have single thing from HMU that I wasn't pleased with. There were some minor issues with other vendors, but HMU was on point the whole time. I really appreciated not having to stress about it.
The ease of everything was super helpful to me. Everyone loved Rachael, Jonee, and Hannah! They were all so pleasant and easy to work with. No one in our parties felt rushed or pressured. Their skills were top notch and they had great recommendations about what would work and look best for each person. I personally have never looked better. If I ever need HMU services again, I will absolutely book your company! My mom (who has never had her makeup done before) was so excited and Jonee really made her feel like she was the most important person. We were so, so impressed with all of them.

My hair (and my bridesmaid's hair) was perfect as well. Somehow it looked effortlessly done and stayed perfectly in place without appearing overdone or feeling uncomfortable.
She's also a fantastic human and you'll enjoy chatting with her at your hair and makeup trial as well on the day of your wedding. Seriously, I cannot say enough positive things about my experience.

er and friends) but she accentuated their natural beauty and they "glowed". They were "model perfect" with hair to match. Every girl had different requests/needs and each was met beautifully.
Now, the challenge was me....the Mother of the Bride. Of course I wanted to "look 20 years younger" and while miracles of that magnitude don't happen, she made me natural and beautiful for my daughter's special day.

All of my bridesmaids loved their looks and so did I! One of my main complaints with bridal makeup/hair is that they tend to spend all the time and effort on the bride and leave the bridesmaids looking just ok. That was not the case with Renee and her team, they listened to everyone and we all looked and felt our best! It shows in our wedding pictures :) I would recommend hiring her for you wedding. Their whole team helped do mine and several of my bridesmaids and my mother's hair and makeup in a reasonable time and even made sure we had touch-up kits for later in the day. g. My skin is on the oilier side, so I was prepared to have to touch up throughout the day, but there was no need! Everything stayed in place, so touch ups were one less thing to worry about.
Renee and her team were also very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Getting ready with them the morning of the wedding was stress free and relaxing. The end product for my hair and make-up was exactly what I had envisioned. I would highly recommend doing a trial with Renee if possible. She came super prepared and encouraged my input throughout the process. She was very dedicated to making sure everything looked the way I wanted.
I am very very happy with my experience with Renee! She is a wonderful choice for your special day!

Marjan, Deanna and Jenny on wedding day and all three were incredibly talented, friendly and accommodating. Marjan did my bridal hair and makeup and I was absolutely blown away. We actually completely diverted from my trial look and she still nailed it. My hair never seems to hold a curl and somehow she got curls to stay all day AND night. She was a true miracle worker! Highly recommend!

The communication between me and Renee/Joi was easy. Renee responded quickly and made the process very seamless, especially during the weird days of wedding planning during Covid. I would highly recommend them to any brides.

e looked perfect. Every time I cried that morning Marina was there to touch me up. As someone who wears 0 makeup she explained how to do my touch ups even after she was gone. Marina even stayed throughout the day until my first look to make sure I was absolutely stunning on my special day. She also went over and beyond fluffing my dress for photos and holding my bouquet. She is fabulous and Renee made the process so easy!
