Their playlists included music we would’ve selected ourselves and helped start our wedding reception. Mickey's expertise as an emcee was evident from the start. His clear announcements and confident delivery ensured all key moments, from our grand entrance to special dances, were handled impeccably. A notable demonstration of his professionalism was his collaborative approach to our scripted wedding party walk-in; he not only embraced our "cheesy" script but offered constructive feedback to enhance its delivery. This highlights the importance of a DJ who isn't just a button-pusher, but a true event facilitator. A DJ's ability to read and react to the crowd is paramount for a lively reception. Micky consistently showed this skill, subtly intervening to draw guests back to the dance floor when energy lulled. This proactive engagement, without being overly intrusive, is what truly cultivates the desired "vibe" – in our case, an atmosphere of constant dancing and fun. We consistently had guests on the dance floor throughout the night which is what we wanted. Moreover, his flexibility was tested when our families made a last-minute request for line dances (with the bride and grooms’ permission), which he integrated on the fly, demonstrating quick thinking and a guest-centric approach. From a logistical standpoint, our three pre-wedding meetings with Mickey confirmed his professionalism; he was consistently punctual, responsive, and easy to communicate with. This level of reliability is indispensable for reducing wedding-day stress. The sound quality and equipment were flawless, indicating a commitment to technical excellence. In terms of value, we found Elite Sounds' pricing to be on par with other reputable DJs, providing a clear return on investment given the quality of service and the vibrant atmosphere Mickey helped create. tc. Mickey was super communicative leading up the the wedding with 3 meetings (introduction, 30 days out, and 1 week out). He was very fun to work with and super easy going. On our wedding day he worked with our day of coordinator and was fully prepared for ceremony and reception. There were a couple of challenging transitions we put him up to during the reception where he rolled with the punches and made sure it still flowed smoothly. Overall, we can’t recommend working with Mickey and Elite Sounds enough!

Kyle met with us twice before the wedding to be sure he understood our needs and the overall vibe we were going for. At the reception itself, Kyle was amazing. He checked in with me to let me know that he had arrived and was setting up. He also made sure to check in with us and assure us that everything was on schedule. Once the music portion of the reception started, Kyle did a great job keeping the energy up. Many of our guests commented on how great of a host and DJ he was. We would definitely book Kyle again in a heartbeat!

rated with the father of the bride to plan a surprise father/daughter dance and answered any questions we had along the way. We not only had a meeting to walk through each of our song choices, but also a meeting a few days prior to review our the songs and to tell Mickey if we had any changes which helped give us a vote of confidence going into our day. Mickey even checked in with us periodically throughout the night to see how we were feeling about his song choices, which we loved. We didn't have a huge dancing crowd, but those who were dancing loved the music and were out on the dance floor all night. We also added on the photo booth to our package and that was a hit all night. Guests could be seen going to get their pictures taken throughout the night and some went back several times! We Ioved that guests could not only get a physical photo strip, but they could also enter in their phone numbers to get a copy sent straight to their phones. We loved working with Mickey and definitely recommend his DJ services for any of your wedding/event needs. Thank you, Mickey and the rest of the Elite Sound Events crew!

He let me make my own playlist for the cocktail hour/dinner to ensure the vibes were exactly what I wanted and had us make a list of must plays, play if possibles, and absolutely do not plays for the open dance floor. This helped him get a good feel for what kind of music we like, but still allowed him to read the room and play what needed to be played to keep the party going. He was also a great emcee which is crucial! Communication was excellent leading up to our wedding, and Mickey was very nice and easy to work with. We got so many compliments after the wedding about how fun the dance floor was and how the party never died. My husband crowd-surfed, we both did the worm (in our wedding attire), and we had friends doing the splits on bass drops. All this to say -- do yourself a favor and hire Mickey with Elite Sound!
