Martell did an AMAZING job at our October 2024 wedding. He made the process extreme easy to put together our playlist for both our ceremony and the wedding. We received so many compliments during and after the wedding about the music and vibe that Martell helped curate. 10/10 would recommend !

Tim Gibson was our assigned DJ through Elite Sounds, and he was the BEST. Tim organized multiple calls leading up to the wedding and provided a run of show – ensuring that all was in place on the wedding day. The portal for Elite Sounds is easy to navigate. Our guests had a blast on the dance floor, Tim kept the party alive. Additionally, Tim went above and beyond to check out the venue ahead of the wedding. If you select Elite Sounds as your wedding DJ, ask for Tim Gibson!

DJ Mickey and Elite Sounds were so great to work with. They have a terrific portal to input all relevant wedding information such as ceremony music, first dances, cocktail music, etc. Mickey was super communicative leading up the the wedding with 3 meetings (introduction, 30 days out, and 1 week out). He was very fun to work with and super easy going. On our wedding day he worked with our day of coordinator and was fully prepared for ceremony and reception. There were a couple of challenging transitions we put him up to during the reception where he rolled with the punches and made sure it still flowed smoothly. Overall, we can’t recommend working with Mickey and Elite Sounds enough!

They were the absolute best! Our DJ Tim was incredible!!! We’ve have multiple friends tell us this was the best wedding reception because of the DJ. He listened to what songs we said we liked and played them all. I almost feel bad I didn’t talk to many people at the reception because I couldn’t leave the dance floor all night! The company is very reliable and responsive as well. Definitely would recommend!

We loved working with Kyle at Elite Sounds for our May 2024 wedding. In the lead up to the wedding both the main office and Kyle were great communicators to help us prepare for the event. Their online portal was extremely helpful in the planning process as we realized what all we needed music for. Kyle met with us twice before the wedding to be sure he understood our needs and the overall vibe we were going for. At the reception itself, Kyle was amazing. He checked in with me to let me know that he had arrived and was setting up. He also made sure to check in with us and assure us that everything was on schedule. Once the music portion of the reception started, Kyle did a great job keeping the energy up. Many of our guests commented on how great of a host and DJ he was. We would definitely book Kyle again in a heartbeat!

Tim with Elite Sounds was amazing! Everything we had discussed with him in prior meetings was executed perfectly! He had the dance floor going all night long and I received so many compliments about how awesome he was. He also made the entire reception prior to dancing run so smoothly! He had previously DJd my sister and my friends weddings so I knew we would be in great hands! The planning process with Elite Sounds was so easy through their website and they were very responsive to us! They were not pushy at all like some other DJs we spoke to were. We could not recommend Elite Sounds and Tim enough!!

Mickey was fantastic to work with! He was very detailed and fulfilled all of our requests. On the day before and during the big day, he made sure to check with us to confirm everything. He introduced everyone perfectly. We were worried about the timing (longer reception due to it being New Year's Eve) and he timed everything out so well, we didn't have to worry and the night flew by without a hitch! Highly recommend Elite Sounds for a wedding, and request Mickey as the DJ!

Our DJ for our wedding was Mickey Beach and he was wonderful! First of all, Mickey was communicative throughout our planning process - he responded promptly to every email, collaborated with the father of the bride to plan a surprise father/daughter dance and answered any questions we had along the way. We not only had a meeting to walk through each of our song choices, but also a meeting a few days prior to review our the songs and to tell Mickey if we had any changes which helped give us a vote of confidence going into our day. Mickey even checked in with us periodically throughout the night to see how we were feeling about his song choices, which we loved. We didn't have a huge dancing crowd, but those who were dancing loved the music and were out on the dance floor all night. We also added on the photo booth to our package and that was a hit all night. Guests could be seen going to get their pictures taken throughout the night and some went back several times! We Ioved that guests could not only get a physical photo strip, but they could also enter in their phone numbers to get a copy sent straight to their phones. We loved working with Mickey and definitely recommend his DJ services for any of your wedding/event needs. Thank you, Mickey and the rest of the Elite Sound Events crew!

My wife and I used DJ Micky for our wedding over a year ago and we still receive complements for his job. He was professional, clear, and fun. We highly recommend using Elite Sounds Entertainment, and specifically DJ Micky.

Our DJ Mickey was awesome!! He helped us with the planning process and did everything he could to make sure the whole day went smoothly. He also coordinated with our other vendors which was great. He was very personable and super funny. Would highly recommend.

DJ Mickey Beach is the BEST! I cannot emphasize that enough, and this is coming from someone who works in the wedding industry. We hired Elite Sound Events/Mickey for our wedding this summer, and we truly had the time of our lives on the dance floor. He let me make my own playlist for the cocktail hour/dinner to ensure the vibes were exactly what I wanted and had us make a list of must plays, play if possibles, and absolutely do not plays for the open dance floor. This helped him get a good feel for what kind of music we like, but still allowed him to read the room and play what needed to be played to keep the party going. He was also a great emcee which is crucial! Communication was excellent leading up to our wedding, and Mickey was very nice and easy to work with. We got so many compliments after the wedding about how fun the dance floor was and how the party never died. My husband crowd-surfed, we both did the worm (in our wedding attire), and we had friends doing the splits on bass drops. All this to say -- do yourself a favor and hire Mickey with Elite Sound!

DJ Martell did a great job of communicating with us before our wedding. He set up several zoom calls to get to know us and what kind of music we liked. We were recommended Elite Sounds from our venue and after looking at reviews online decided to book them for our wedding. We were so glad we did! DJ Matt Edens did a great job at keeping the dance floor going all night. We met with him multiple times before the wedding and he made us feel at ease. He offered his suggestions and experiences when we needed guidance and the night wouldn't have been the same without him! The online portal also helped me to stay organized and keep tabs on what needed to be done. We 1000% would recommend Elite Sounds!

Tim Gibson at Elite Sounds was one of the best wedding vendor recommendations that we received for our wedding. We told him the vibe we wanted to achieve and he nailed it. Everyone was dancing the entire time. The lights really made the space look so cool. Tim was able to play music inside and outside at our indoor/outdoor event. Tim was an excellent communicator. The platform that Elite Sounds uses to build the wedding time line and playlist was very easy to work with. Tim even took photos and videos for us of the dance floor. He truly crushed it and we could not have asked for a better experience.

My husband and I used Elite Sounds as the DJ service for our wedding, CJ McDonald was our specific DJ. He was awesome! Our planning meetings were helpful in working on our schedule and making sure he understood the vibe we wanted for the wedding, he nailed it! We got so many compliments on how much fun our wedding was and he was a huge part of it.

CJ with Elite Sounds was awesome to work with from planning to our event itself! He was a great emcee and helped to ensure that our wedding reception was fun and flow smoothly. I received several comments during our reception about how great the DJ was, which confirmed we had made the right decision. CJ did a great job interacting with the crowd and reading when the right time was to kick it up a notch. Also, I’m relatively picky when it comes to music selection, but CJ delivered as the dance floor was busy throughout the night!

My friends and family were obsessed with CJ! We had guests asking about how we found our DJ for weeks! He did such a great job and was able to play the various genres that we requested. For reference, we requested African, Motown, 60s/70s, pop, hip-hop, etc. He played it all! 10/10 would recommend!

Craig was great to work with, but our DJ was not. His only meeting with us, he took while he was driving and picking up his daughter from dance class. We then sent him our Spotfiy playlist to use at the reception and he said he never got it and he just played whatever he decided at the reception. I was also told by Craig that all of their DJ's mix, and Martell didn't mix a single song during our 4 hour reception. We were so disappointed. It took months to rectify the problem because Craig sold the business to some other guy.

Can we give more than five stars?? Wow, Elite Sounds totally exceeded our expectations. Matt was our DJ and kept our dance floor alive from the first song to the last. We wanted a great party for our guests, and he delivered. Matt was also extremely easy-going and accommodating, reliving our stress about the reception timeline by sharing his expertise and ensuring the night went smoothly. We loved getting to know him during our planning meetings, too; we know he has a lot of weddings, but he made us feel important and welcomed. The online portal Elite Sounds uses is super easy to use and very helpful when planning the timeline, song requests, etc., as well as the payment. Hiring the right DJ was very important for us during wedding planning, and we couldn't be happier with how Elite Sounds handled the job.

Martell and Elite Sounds did an excellent job. The pacing throughout the night was perfect, the song selection and ordering was perfect, and his emceeing was super professional. He had a large group of old, white people dancing and laughing all night.

CJ with Elite Sounds helped make our day so special and memorable. CJ went above and beyond to meet with us multiple times before our wedding to make sure he was understanding our vision and hopes for the day. He was so easy to collaborate with and truly listened to our wants. He perfectly tailored a soundtrack throughout the entire evening that captured my husband and I's vibe. The dance floor was PACKED the entire reception! We had so many guests tell us he was the best wedding DJ they had come across. We can not recommend CJ enough!

Booking Elite Sounds was one of the easiest decisions we made during the wedding process. I am not musically inclined at all, and they gave me such great direction and reassurance throughout the process. I was nervous leading up to the day because I could not picture how the music would come together but truly it felt like Martell knew us so well and with every song he played I look at my guest and husband and said yes I LOVE this song!! I am so glad we got paired with him as his kindness on every call and day was so sweet and caring. We also go a letter from him in the mail after our wedding that was so thoughtful! Everyone loved it and I can't be any happier with them.

Tim was an amazing DJ on our big day! Very responsive and helped keep everything on track during the reception! Our photo booth package was sooo worth it! All our guests loved the added touch and that they could bring home their own photos of their memories of our wedding :)

DJ Mickey knows how to get people dancing! We chose Elite Sounds as our wedding DJ after they were recommended by family and are so happy with our decision. Craig and Mickey are incredibly professional to work with and made the planning process easy and stress free. Blown away by how perfect our experience with Tim Gibson and Craig Loftis with Elite Sounds Entertainment was. From the early stages of wedding planning to last call, Elite Sounds provided the most seamless, professional, and fun event we could have asked for. Tim was a fantastic DJ - who shared our energy all night long and played the most fantastic mix of songs, which had literally every guest up on their feet dancing. We had high expectations for the evening and he went above and beyond all of them! Throughout the entire evening we had guests coming up to tell us how awesome the music was and how much fun they were having. The up lights we added for dinner + dancing to set the ambiance for each stage of the night made all the difference. I think if we didn't have to be out of the venue by 11PM, people would have kept dancing all night long. The planning portal that Craig + Tim use is also a huge help with planning, and the multiple planning calls ensured that Tim was always up to speed with our vision. I'm sure DJs get lots of great reviews as new couples bask in the afterglow of their wedding days, but I want to emphasize that Elite Sounds and our DJ, Martell, were incredible, and probably our favorite vendor for our wedding this past weekend. My partner keeps saying that Martell was the greatest wedding DJ she's ever heard (which I agree with) and we're still glowing thinking about the way the dance portion of the night went. Many of our guests said the same. It was such a smashing party, and exactly the vibe we were hoping for. He was also great at interfacing with our guests, taking requests, timing song transitions, putting in his own flair (but not too much!), and even handled a snafu where our outside power died and he rigged up an impromptu speaker setup from inside to help our best man and MoH give speeches everyone could hear clearly. He was also just fun as hell. Highly recommend.

Worked with Craig to get everything for my wedding weekend and worked with CJ to get the songs and everything set correctly. They were both wonderful, the wedding was a blast and I was highly impressed with the way CJ worked with the Indian songs without being able to understand them. For sure going to be my go to for all future events!!!

Highly recommend Elite Sounds! We planned everything remotely since we don't live in KC but were having our wedding in the area. The owner Craig responded quickly, kept in touch with us throughout the entire process, and was organized and thorough. We had DJ Mickey, who was amazing!! Very professional and good at making everything look easy and seamless. I made a comment/song request to him in passing around dinner time, and Mickey played it hours later during dancing, which was so fun. And he worked with me on the plan to play a custom version of a line dance for us. Our guests also greatly enjoyed the photobooth - the pictures turned out hilarious. Our day was perfect, and Elite Sounds was a significant part of that!

If you are looking for the best DJ company in Kansas City it’s Elite Sounds! We wanted a DJ that could read the room, be flexible to requests and play music to get people up and dancing and our DJ, CJ, delivered! CJ was by far one of the best wedding DJ’s I’ve seen and our guests are still raving about how awesome the DJ was and how epic the dance party was, and this is coming from our guests who don’t typically dance at weddings so that says a lot!! CJ truly worked hard to make the night special for my husband and I and we HIGHLY recommend booking Elite Sounds and requesting for CJ as your DJ

We so enjoyed having Elite Sounds DJ our wedding!
