Elite Tents and Events

Elite Tents was highly communicative leading up the wedding day, creative and informative in helping us select all our rentals (including tent type and style, chairs, tables, band stage, generators, heating, linens, and more), and set up everything perfectly with just one oversight: The generator they provided — which would power the band the whole night, plus lighting — was under half full of fuel. Had we not noticed this (and had the owner of the property not had fuel to fill it up with in the hour leading up to the ceremony), we could have had a major disaster on our hands. This error was really surprising since everything else about our experience with Elite was excellent. I loved working with every rep we dealt with, and I loved the quality of all the rentals. (Get clear panels on your tent — it's stunning!) Because of this inconsistency, I'm chalking the generator issue up to a simple mistake — albeit a big one — and just recommend that no matter what rental company you use for your outdoor wedding, CHECK THAT GENERATOR EARLY.

Elite has a great selection of items to rent, from chairs and tables to tents and lighting packages, they had everything we needed. They also cater to many different budgets which is great for a big wedding like ours. It was easy to add and/or edit our rentals as needed leading up to the big day and everything looked great. Be sure to double check with Elite that your tent will fit in the area you have in mind for your reception as early as possible to avoid any issues the week of!!

My wife and I had our wedding at the Historic Oakland venue in Maryland and to use the back event space we were required to work with Elite Tents and Events. Historic Oakland is a beautiful property but we were very disappointed with our experience with Elite Tents and Events. The contract was not clear about what pieces we had to rent from them and what we could use from our outside catering. In the end, we were forced to rent linens from Elite although that wasn't specified in our contract. We rented the two decorative chandeliers and one of them was not functioning on our wedding day which was quite noticeable upon walking into the tent. One of our guests tried to contact their team to troubleshoot the issue on the day of our reception with no success.I sent several emails and calls with very little response until I finally spoke with the owner about my concerns. The answer we received was, "the chandeliers were functioning when we set them up and we don't know why they weren't working" which is an entirely unsatisfactory answer considering we paid extra for that lighting. We submitted pictures of the lighting concern and requested to be reimbursed for the fee we paid for the chandeliers but they would not refund us.Historic Oakland would be better served by discontinuing their relationship with Elite Tents and Events and using a different company.

Elite Tents and Events is awesome! They offer a variety of rentals at good prices. The staff members that I worked with were kind, friendly, and very helpful! We rented chairs for our outdoor ceremony, and the whole process was fairly stress-free for me as the bride. Thank you, Elite Tents and Events!
