I had the pleasure of wearing a custom Elizabeth Dye dress for my wedding, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome. It was a one-of-a-kind masterpiece in perfect pink. As ...
a plus-sized bride, finding a dress that genuinely felt like "me" was a significant challenge. Before discovering Elizabeth Dye, I experienced disappointment when a custom dress designer offering plus sizes declined my dress request because it exceeded their size chart by only a couple inches. I was devastated and feared I would never find a wedding dress that made me happy. When I found my Elizabeth Dye wedding dress it surpassed all my expectations and was far better than my original choice. It meant the world to me to have the traditional bridal shopping experience of discovering my dream dress knowing it could be made in my size. Thank you Elizabeth for allowing me to truly feel like myself on my wedding day and ensuring I didn’t have to compromise my personal style.
Imagine your perfect dress, and then amplify it. THAT is what Elizabeth offers. It's not your cookie-cutter wedding dress that 500 women have already worn, it's made FOR YOU with m...
ore love and detail than you could possibly think of for yourself. No size or preference is too much for her to work with, she considers everything you may not have thought of and makes you feel beautiful from the first fitting to the final day! Other places made me feel so limited in what I was able to wear and often pigeon-holed me into something I didn't want because it was easier for their staff. Not here, she's amazing! Don't miss out on Elizabeth!!
Shopping for dresses as a woman who is not a sample size can be challenging. I felt incredibly limited at other dress shops, only given the option of a few dresses. After visiting ...
what felt like every shop in Portland, I decided to visit Elizabeth’s showroom in hopes that she could help design my gown. The instant I met Elizabeth, she made me feel beautiful, cared for, and at ease. I hadn’t even tried on a single thing, but I knew she was going to make my dress. And then I slipped into one of her gorgeous gowns and OH MY - I FELT LIKE A GODDESS. Her pieces are made out of luxurious fabrics, the construction is flawless, and you can feel her heart behind each design. Sure, some of her dresses were sample sizes too, but the difference here is that she never made me feel bad or like I couldn’t wear a dress because of the size/style/fabric/cut. I tried on multiple gowns and she adjusted them so I could see their fit. With her guidance, I ended up taking elements from multiple pieces, and choosing a gorgeous charmeuse silk for my custom gown. I met with her multiple times throughout the process. She would listen to my vision, but not blindly - always offering her expert guidance and thoughtfully explaining how the dress would be affected by each choice. My gown turned out absolutely perfect. My dream would be for Elizabeth to design everything in my closet. Until then, I will look back fondly on my wedding gown and tell the world all about the loveliness that is Elizabeth Dye.
