Elizabeth is an absolute DREAM! She went above and beyond my expectations. I have always dreamed of having a my dress custom made to me and she made that dream come to life! We also went to school together and were the best of friends in high school! So having someone so dear to my heart make my dress made it that much more special to me. If you’re considering having your dress made, you will not be disappointed if you choose Elizabeth! She puts 150% into her work and will help in any way that she can to make your dream come true!!!

I cannot even begin to put into words how amazing Elizabeth was to work with. In all honesty, the entire process of working with Elizabeth on a custom gown was by far my favorite thing about the wedding planning process. Initially, I had felt so in over my head when it came to figuring out not only what I wanted my dress to look like, but also what would look good on me and my body type. All of that quickly goes away once you allow Elizabeth to do her thing and just trust that she's got your best interest at heart. She always gave me such sound advice and really just peace of mind knowing that I could communicate with her any doubts, concerns or ideas that I might have and vice versa. I knew that I wanted a custom dress because it would be something that was 110% percent me and there would be no need to make any alterations. From the design, color, and fabric, Elizabeth allows you to be very involved with the process and she's always readily available when you need to reach out. Having your own Elizabeth Leese designed gown really is something special and I know you'll cherish your gown all the more because I know I do.

Oh this girl!!!! Elizabeth is so talented. I had the dress of my dreams in my head and Elizabeth made it come to life!!!!! My first appointment with her I picked out fabrics and reviewed a few sketches she had put together. Having no idea about design, she guided me through my (many many many) questions and helped me pick the perfect materials! My favorite part of the whole experience was getting to create my own custom embellishments for my dress. She sketched out all the details in my head and came up with the most beautiful design that came to life in a beaded floral embellishment! It was nothing short of perfect. I couldn't even believe it when she surprised me early and had it ready to go before I even knew it!!! Elizabeth created the dress of my dreams and I felt like a fairy princess queen on my wedding day. I got endless compliments on the gown and I cannot imagine having done anything else for the big day. It was perfect and Elizabeth is wonderful. Get this girl to make you the dress of your dreams y'all. You won't regret it.

I worked at David's Bridal for 4 years and spent a fair amount of time trying on dresses. I knew that I did not want to purchase a dress from there for my own wedding. I had expensive taste and a not so expensive budget. I also wanted something unique. Elizabeth took the photos I sent her and ideas I wrote down and created my dream dress. It was a beautiful blue dress with a removal skirt and romper underneath. I couldn't have dreamed it up better myself. Her prices were more than fair and allowed me to get a dress that was better than what I ever thought I could afford. The best part was that it was custom made to fit me so I paid nothing for alterations and if I wasn't happy she would fix it in a heartbeat. I will refer everyone I know to use her services because she does an incredible job.

Where do I even start? Elizabeth made my wedding dress dreams come true...and then some! I contacted Elizabeth completely on a limb, knowing nothing about her other than some other girl on Instagram got her dress made by EL. As soon as Elizabeth contacted me back... I knew it was the right thing! The design process was so fun and I can confidently say that EL gave me everything I could ever want. It fit like a glove and it was just exactly what I wanted! I can’t say it enough. If you are considering letting EL design your custom dress.... DO IT! I have absolutely no complaints. I felt like an absolutely fairy tail in a dress that only I will ever wear. Also, Elizabeth is the absolute coolest person ever! So that’s a plus as well :)

Elizabeth designed and hand made my wedding dress, and it was the absolute best experience!! She brought to life an ever more gorgeous dress then I could have imagined, and was so so sweet and easy to work with throughout the process, and is so so good at what she does. She was seriously the biggest blessing!! I was involved in every single decision made in creating the dress, and it was so fun seeing it come together each fitting that I had. I had a dress emergency the day before my wedding (that was my doing) and she went above and beyond to get my dress back to its perfect form without hesitation. Getting married is so special in general, but walking down the isle in an Elizabeth Leese dress just made it that much more special!

Elizabeth is one of the most wonderful and kind human beings I have ever met. She is extremely talented- but she still has room for growth. I heard about Elizabeth from a friend in grad school, & once I saw her incredible work, I contacted her to find out her pricing. Once I realized she was within my price range (12- 1900), I asked to place a deposit. When I got engaged, E & I immediately set up appointments. I took 3 trips to Dallas from Hot Springs, AR. The first appointment was when I picked out my sketch (from 4 options). It was a beautiful drop waist gown- a bit different than what I had imagined, but it was stunning. We spent an ample amount of time picking out fabrics, colors, lace, etc and E was nothing but patient with my load of questions. The second appointment was my muslin fitting. When I put on my muslin, I immediately had concerns, but E talked me down and explained that the muslin was cheap fabric and the awkward fit would be different the next time with the actual fabric I had picked. In the mean time, we discussed changing the skirt in a way that I thought would look more like the sketch than how it was looking with pictures she updated me with. At my next appointment, when I put on my soon-to-be wedding gown, I was extremely concerned. It was hard for me to explain my concerns to E because she is sweet & I didn't want to offend her... but I did get very upset when I kept bringing up how different my gown looked from the sketch, & E said, "forget about your sketch." How am I supposed to forget about a sketch that was the only way for me to know what my gown would look like? My dress was so thin; it was see through. She told me it would look different with a thin silk liner. My dress did not complement my petite figure (5'2, 105#) in any way. (I had asked her in one of our very first emails to consider my body type when guiding me with styles.) I looked like a box. I tried to express my concerns with E, but she kept reassuring me that it would be fine. But I never felt like a bride in my dress. When I went back to my hotel I cried for hours. When I showed my (extremely positive) dad the dress from a pic my mom had taken, you could see the disappointment in his eyes. He agreed that that dress was not working. Everyone I have shown that pic agrees it was unflattering, especially compared to the dress I ended up with. I cried when I had to tell her that it wasn't working. It was more emotionally stressful than any break up I've ever had bc I'm not lying when I say that she's great. She attempted to address the situation after I explained that I couldn't wear the dress with this solution in an email: "...If we were to start over, I will suggest we do something more like the tulle dress (one I had tried on in a bridal salon)...I will quote you $1200 and ask for a half payment now so that we can cover fabrics with a rush..." E & I discontinued working together, and I found the most perfect dress. I think if E had been more attentive to my body type and my concerns, it would've worked out differently. After canceling the dress (that looked nothing like the sketch that we picked), E refunded us $150 after paying her approx. $1000. Since then, she has made stunning gowns, & I still think she's very talented. I wanted to "review" her so that any brides that consider hiring her know the risk that is associated with any custom made gown- especially if you are not 5'8 or taller with perfect proportions as her sketches are drawn.

Elizabeth Leese made my veil and garter for my wedding. The whole process of telling her what I was interested in for both items and having her advice thrown in the mix as well made each piece even more special. She is easy to work with and you are treated like family during your meetings. Her designs are simply one of a kind and the fact that she hand sews everything is unbelievable especially when you see the final product. I've watched her skill/amazing talent for designing flourish over the years of knowing her in college and I knew without a doubt I had to have an Elizabeth Leese original design on my big day.

Elizabeth was like my own personal fairy god mother. Not only is her work flawless but she treated me with such grace and patience. She was willing to work with my indesicive mind and create my dream dress. She always had water for me at fittings and even little treats. She made the whole process of getting my dress a breeze and like a dream come true. Most brides dread the wedding dress process which is why I highly recommend going toElizabeth because with her it is so wonderful. Not to mention, the talent that this girl holds. She has the hands of a goddess.

Working with Elizabeth was nothing but amazing! I work in the wedding industry myself and felt a bit overwhelmed with dress shopping and figuring out what I wanted. Elizabeth took all my ideas and created something perfect and unique for me. The process was amazing to work through, from the first sketches, to the fittings, you'll feel like a queen the whole time! I bought a Lela garter from EL and when it came in the mail (in an adorable box with a note from Elizabeth, by the way) I realized I had not ordered the right size. Realizing I lived nearby her studio, I asked to exchange it for a different size. Elizabeth very promptly wrote me back and was kind enough to meet me at her studio on a weekend (because I work long hours weekdays) and easily exchanged the garter for the right size! She was so sweet and her studio was beautiful. I LOVE my garter and all of her work from what I see on Instagram and I can't wait to wear my garter on the big day! Thank you, Elizabeth!

Elizabeth Leese Bridal was BEYOND a fairytale. From the sprinkled donuts and pug cuddles at fittings, to the ethereal blush realness that was my dress. Elizabeth made all my dreams come true.

After searching the state of Texas for the perfect dress, a dear friend told me Elizabeth was launching her own business. Elizabeth Leese was like my very own fairy godmother-- making all of my dress dreams come true! It was an honor to be her first official bride. She is calm and collected, creative and meticulous. Elizabeth is so professional and such a delight to be around. I loved and looked forward to my time in her beautiful studio. Our perfect day would not have been the same without my custom Elizabeth Leese dress. It's been almost six months since our wedding and people are still talking about her masterpiece. I thank the Lord for sending me the sweet gift of Elizabeth.

After seeing one of my good friends from college get married in a gorgeous gown made by Elizabeth, I couldn't help but reach out to her to see if she could make my day special as well! Elizabeth recently made two flower girl dresses for my upcoming wedding!! She made them out of my mothers wedding dress. As soon as my little flower girls tried them on I just teared up and could not get over how sweet and special they were! Elizabeth took the time to speak with my mom and I about what we wanted, drew up 3 sketches and made the most perfect little dresses in no time! She made the entire experience special from the fitting to the drawing of the dresses to the details of my mothers wedding dress. I just can't say enough great things about her. When you meet or speak or even just email her you can immediately tell how genuinely passionate she is about not only her job but making her clients feel special. After seeing what she had done with the flower girl dresses, I sent her my veil to incorporate more of my mothers lace into my wedding accessories!!! I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Elizabeth created a one of a kind dress for me for a Black Tie Gala in Dallas. It was absolutely amazing to work with Elizabeth. She listened to everything that I was wanting and created my dream dress for the event and it couldn't be more perfect. She answered all my questions and made the entire process so stress-free.
