About this vendor
Hi friend! I am a wedding photographer based in Nashville and Chicago, who strives to create a fun and stress-free photography experience from the very beginning. I'm passionate about capturing every special moment of your wedding day but especially those connections between you and your loved ones.
I was born and raised in West TN and now live in the Nashville area with my high school sweetheart husband and 2 year old daughter. I have been photographing weddings since 2011 and pride myself on being "more than just a photographer." I am the kind of person that will work with your other vendors to ensure your day goes off without a hitch. I'm the kind of person that will give you a hair pin out of my own hair so your veil won't blow away in the wind. I've also been known to help buckle your mothers shoe, tie the grooms bow tie, pin flowers on your uncle, or make silly faces so the flower girl smiles real big! I love that my couples see me like an extended family member or bridesmaid that's there for them 100%.
My friendly personality helps couples to relax and enjoy their event without having to worry about the smaller details. I will ensure that your memories are captured in a way that represents you.
I offer a selection of packages that are fully customizable to fit your individual needs. I'd love to set up a time to chat on the phone, video call, or in person meeting. I can't wait to get to know you and talk about your wedding day plans!

Working with Liz was truly such a fantastic part of our wedding and wedding planning process! Liz photographed my friend’s wedding in 2019, and I just fell in love with her photogr...
aphy. After following her for years on Instagram, I was absolutely thrilled to have Liz photograph our wedding on 10/05/24. I tend to be a little self-conscious about taking photographs, but Liz just made us feel instantly at ease, and brought a calming energy to the whole day, which was beyond wonderful. Additionally, I cannot express enough how much I LOVE all of our photos. I feel like every moment of the day was captured beautifully. From the detail photos to our first look photos, to family portraits and photos of the ceremony and reception, I can re-live all of the special moments of the day by looking back through the photos. I especially love all the photos of candid moments that Liz and her team took throughout the day — the absolute joy and happiness of the day really shines through, and we will cherish and treasure these photos forever.
I had the most incredible experience with Liz as the photographer for my proposal, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for her expertise and professionalism. From the mom...
ent I contacted Liz, she was warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely excited to be a part of our special moment. Her prompt and detailed communication ensured everything was perfectly planned for the surprise proposal. On the day of the proposal, Liz arrived early, ensuring she was in the perfect spot to discreetly capture the moment. She captured every emotion and reaction so beautifully, allowing us to relive the magic repeatedly through her stunning photographs. Not only is Liz a talented photographer, but she also has a wonderful personality that instantly puts us at ease. She was friendly, kind, and incredibly supportive, making the experience memorable. The quality of Liz's work is beyond exceptional. The photographs she delivered were of the highest standard, with impeccable attention to detail and a keen eye for capturing the most intimate moments. Her creativity and artistic vision were evident in each and every shot. I am forever grateful to Liz for playing such an integral role in one of the most important days of our lives. Her photographs have become cherished mementos of our proposal, and I cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a truly talented and professional photographer. Liz's dedication and passion shine through in her work, and I can't wait to have her capture more of our special moments in the future. Thank you, Liz!
Liz was absolutely WONDERFUL!! When my sister's bf (now fiance) asked me to help him with the surprise proposal in Chicago, I immediately knew I wanted Liz to be there. I've seen s...
o many of her beautiful photos and always loved how she captured the moments so perfectly. That's exactly what she did for us this summer. She played along with the surprise so well that you can tell in the pictures just how surprised my sister was that Liz was even there. Liz captured all of our emotions so beautifully that day- from shock to joy to relief (for those of us that kept this secret up)! We've shared these photos with many friends and family who all have said they could feel the excitement and joy from this day. Thank you so much Liz for all your help in planning and executing this surprise for my sister and her now fiance!

up. Liz was always so intentional and caring about each photo that she took and each interaction that we had! Every time we look at our photos from our wedding weekend (rehearsal dinner and wedding day) we are reminded of the wonderful memories that we had. Liz was amazing to work with during the events and after. She put together a fabulous book for us as well that really showcases all of the special moments from our big day! We are displaying her beautiful photos through out our house and have given quite a few as gifts as well. She is so great to work with and I would highly recommend her!
I had stumbled upon Liz’s Instagram before we were even engaged, and knew from that point that booking her as our wedding photographer was an absolute must! I have to admit that I...
fangirled pretty hard finally meeting her in person after following her social media for so long beforehand, haha. Liz’s beautiful work speaks for itself, but I especially love the effortless, natural lighting except WAY better look to her work. She and her second photographer, Sarah, wrangled our huge wedding party with ease and efficiency. Sarah even went above and beyond to send us some super helpful info about our upcoming honeymoon, since she and her husband had just gotten back from the same place. Our photos turned out absolutely STUNNING, and we could not recommend Liz enough to capture your special day!
If I could give 100 stars, I would! Between Liz's insane talent and her incredibly kind and enthusiastic personality, she was one of our absolute favorite wedding vendors. Liz went...
above and beyond for us from beginning to end - she spoke to our wedding planner about the most important Greek traditions to capture on our wedding day, she made time for our engagement shoot during a weekend where she was already super booked with other couples, she surprised us for our wedding shower, she accommodated us with additional photography coverage on our wedding day, and she sent over an entire album of BEAUTIFULLY edited photos with a super short turnaround time after our wedding. We have gotten so many compliments on our engagement shoot, shower photos, and especially our wedding photos and portraits. Liz took all of our wedding photo dreams and turned them into a reality. We feel so incredibly blessed to have had her capture some of our most important moments!!! Highly recommend!!!
I truly cannot say enough incredible things about Elizabeth- she is AMAZING!!! She travelled for our wedding while being 39 weeks pregnant, if that doesn't scream dedication, I don...
't know what does! She is so professional, kind, thoughtful and just amazing at her craft. She embodies exactly who you want with you on the most important day of your life. We got our photos so quickly (even though she had a baby one week after our wedding), and we were absolutely amazed at them. I truly cannot recommend Elizabeth enough, you will absolutely not be disappointed!

chatted in Feb 2020, thinking our wedding would be August 2020. Like many couples, we had to reschedule & Elizabeth handled this with such ease (similar to what you'll get on the day)
We got a little creative and turned our engagement session into a 'Just Married' session. After our casual, outdoor ceremony, we met up with Elizabeth for photos around our favorite Chicago locations. This was our first time getting professional photos and she makes you feel instantly comfortable! I remember she had us slow dancing to start and coached us on different poses while working all the angles!
Our friends and family members continued raving about Elizabeth! We loved working with her and we highly recommend hiring this phenomenal woman!
Elizabeth Nord to the pictures for my wedding she is good at taking the pictures you. I'd recommend her to anyone wanting to take pictures.
Having Liz as a photographer is like having the most talented friend to capture your special day. We just received our wedding photos and were overwhelmed by the detail and emotion...
documented in each photo. We planner a wedding in Chicago, and due to COVID-19, had to drastically alter our plans and change the location and date. Despite the changes and stress, Liz was a constant source of support. Not only was she thoughtful and supportive, she has the talent to match. Every time we look at our photos. We beam with amazement. Yes- of course she catches the special and natural moments, but she is a pro through and through. Liz knew exactly how to give direction so that our photos came out in the most flattering way. We knew we had made the right choice to from the beginning, but when we saw our incredible comments from family and friends, we couldn’t have been more proud to have Liz as part of our wedding day.

s everyone at ease. Her work is flawless and beautiful, and she has excellent taste. She was very flexible with our photos, being able to shoot a relatively large family and bridal party in our allotted time before the ceremony. I look forward to hopefully working with her again in the future. We just cannot thank her enough. God Bless. Cheers!

Liz was photographed my pretty large bridal shower at Galleria Marchetti & I can’t tell you enough how she captured every detail, every smile and intimate moment so beautifully! I re-live that day over and over through the pictures she has captured with her incredible talents. Throughout the whole process, she was responsive, attentive, punctual and patient. I look forward to working with her in the future! Thank you again and again! Xx

ocess. From answering all our questions and giving us the best advice about locations and outfit choices for our engagement pictures, to making sure we were totally stress free and enjoyed every moment of our wedding day (while rocking the cutest 8 month baby bump ever the entire day BTW) Not to mention the stunning product you get in her photos and the beautiful attention to detail from the moment we first sat down and got to know each other. We absolutely love Liz and will cherish the beautifully captured memories she gave us forever! 10/10 would highly recommend!
Nothing but positive things to say about our wedding experience with Elizabeth Nord! She made us feel so comfortable the entire day and the pictures reflected it. They were so natu...
ral and are an amazing representation of our special day. We had some extra hurdles for our wedding given we currently live abroad, had some major logistical features for our wedding, and even had a last minute venue change and Liz was so flexible and open to it all. She had great suggestions for shots and kept the process moving efficiently. Neither my husband nor I are much of a model, but the photos turned out so gorgeous it is obvious Liz worked her magic incredibly well.

right and also tell a story. We loved working with Liz because she made us feel comfortable in front of the camera which can be a little weird at first. She also listened to our ideas and helped turn them into a reality! If you are thinking about splurging for Liz as your photographer, you 200% should. Her and her work is an investment and you will cherish the photos for a lifetime. We absolutely love our photos and they turned out better than we imagined. On a side note she also gave me a list of “friendors” which ended up helping me narrow down some of my other vendors and I loved them all! Overall we cannot say enough good things about Liz! We highly recommend her and we hope to book her for future life events!

ng that we wanted covered was included in our package. Liz's confidence in posing us put us at ease and we would strongly recommend her services to anyone looking for timeless, artistic photographs for generations to come. She is also extremely generous and was the only vendor who actually sent US a high end welcome package and thank you gift! Wish we could do it all over again!
Liz is amazing! When you are considering your wedding photographer you want someone who is easy to get along with and listens to your needs (they are the ones in your face all day!...
) Liz goes above and beyond to make you feel special and pretty on your day and her professionalism is incredible. I love working with her!

I had the pleasure of having Liz do our engagement shoot and our rehearsal luncheon shoot in addition to having her photograph our wedding. Liz was prompt, friendly, and made everyone feel at ease. Her ability to capture a feeling on film and create brilliant shots is pure artistry. She is also the sweetest and kindest person to work with in addition to being incredibly speedy with her photo previews and returns. We couldn’t be happier. We highly recommend Liz for any photo event you may need photographed-you won’t be disappointed!
I cannot recommend Elizabeth Nord enough. My husband and I (and our families!) are SO grateful that we were lucky enough to have Liz as our wedding day photographer (and our rehear...
sal dinner photographer!) She was at once professional, warm, focused, fun, reassuring, and calming. It was such an insanely crazy day but she made the 'photography' side of things an absolute breeze. She blended in so effortlessly that it made it easy for us to be ourselves and practically forget that a photographer was there, while still being so easy to get along with and to feel comfortable around. The photos she captured are beautiful, romantic, and absolutely priceless – there were so many special moments she captured that we will now be able to look at and relive whenever we want – and half the time we forgot there were even pictures being taken during these moments because she was so subtle and natural. I would absolutely, 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a wedding photographer, you will be thrilled with her work. And she gets the photos back to you SO quickly without compromising on quality :) HIRE HER!!!

d most: EASY GOING AND FUN! We desperately wanted beautiful but natural professional pictures and she more than captured our every need. With little to no experience taking professional photos, we needed some extra help and Elizabeth customized our locations based on what she thought would work best for our 'style'. She nailed every detail we were looking for and made the entire process so much fun. Even when we thought a photo would turn out to be silly it was absolutely stunning when she sent over the final product! Elizabeth is so sweet, detail oriented, thoughtful and I would absolutely recommend her for any photography needs in the Chicago area!

e could not have been happier with her photos! From our first meeting and seeing some of her work, we could tell she was going to be the perfect fit! Liz had a tremendous talent for making us both feel very comfortable in front of the camera and bringing out the best in us. Her shots are natural, elegant, and gorgeous. She somehow finds those perfect angles that make you melt and force you to keep staring at the photos. (She even helped me choose my engagement photo outfits!) You can see how much she loves what she does, and it shines through in her work. She perfectly captured exactly what we were going for and didn't miss any of our must-have shots! We received our photos right after our honeymoon and haven't stopped looking at them! Thank you for capturing our perfect day, Liz!
