hat the owner of the shop hand-picked each dress herself. Susan was a pleasure to work with and I am so grateful for my experience here. She asked me to show pictures of dresses I like and she went from there. She picked a dress and asked if I wanted to try it on. She asked if I'm comfortable with her zipping and clipping the dress, if I want her to help me put it on, etc. I just had her zip and clip each dress and then I'd walk out to show my mom. Susan would then ask me to pick apart the dress, say everything I liked and disliked. I appreciated her openness to my critiques. After hearing my comments, she would pick out another dress and do the same thing. She knew a lot about each dress and was able to tailor the service to me completely. I am very picky, but every time she selected a new dress, it brought me significantly closer to "the one." I only tried on a few dresses before I found "the one," because she worked so hard to find each dress based on my interests. Susan made me feel good about myself and she was so helpful. I never would have thought that I'd like someone else to pick dresses out for me, but I am so glad that she did, because she had strong understanding and knowledge of each dress, and paired that information knowing my preferences.

Because Susan had such great taste, and there were so many gorgeous options, I only tried on five dresses before deciding on the one, which was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. She truly made the entire experience so special for me. I also want to acknowledge how great Liz and the rest of her team are. Every visit to the bridal salon, we were always greeted by such friendly faces. Mary was my seamstress, and she did a lovely job altering my dress. She really took her time with such great care as my dress was primarily made up of delicate lace and beads. After explaining why I was looking for as well as my “issues” off she went to pull dresses. While changing and helping me into the gown, never once did she make me feel bad nor was I embarrassed. The first gown was IT. Beautiful. Made me feel pretty. I did try on the other ones but said no, that’s my gown. Patricia ordered it and it came in in less than a week. Unfortunately Patricia wasn’t there the day I picked it up, however, Susan, Mary and of course Elizabeth were there. I can only pass on my deepest gratitude to Patricia for finding me my gown. I was terrified of embarrassing my son and daughter in law. Now I feel like I fit in. We did have an appointment at another salon afterwards. What I was worried about happening, happened. Was humiliated and not helped by staff. Left in tears. I can only say to anyone who has body “issues” to go to Elizabeth’s. They will find you your perfect gown. s leaking in through the door - I still found this completely unacceptable, but didn’t want to miss out on finding my dream dress so I decided to continue on with my appointment. The smell lingered as we went upstairs to look at dresses. The consultant seemed nice, but didn’t really listen to me on the kind of dress I wanted (no lace, no beading, no sparkle). If she had just admitted that the store doesn’t have many of those in stock, ok fine, I understand that. However instead she kept bringing me dresses that were the opposite of what I wanted, and didn’t even make any suggestions on how I could get them altered to be to my liking. Also, the fitting rooms are quite small when trying on fuller dresses. Some help from the consultant in getting the dresses on/off without damaging them would have been nice, but no such assistance was offered. So yes, your dream gown might be here! Just be ready for a subpar experience in finding it.
