About this vendor
Elkington sits on 25 acres of land with about 15 acres of usable yard space. The yard is bordered on three sides by the Gulph Creek that empties into the Chesapeake Bay, which gives you endless options of waterfront views for your ceremony and reception.
On the north side of the unique row of pecan trees sits a traditional six-section garden separated with large box woods. The garden gives you many different options of layouts for pictures, cocktail hour or even a reception under the trees.
The estate is located 10 minutes from Cape Charles, Virginia and 30 minutes from Virginia Beach, Virginia.

he large property. No two weddings are alike at Elkington. Not only did Elizabeth go above beyond to make sure our wedding day was perfect, she was easy to communicate with and knows all the other vendors in the area.
Family owned and operated they were so patient and helpful the months leading up to the wedding and the day of! Could not have asked for a more laid back and flexible venue. Thanks...
for everything Elizabeth!!
Elkington is an absolute dream! The moment I stepped foot onto the property, I knew it had to be the place to have our wedding. The grounds are stunning by themselves but the venue...
is basically a beautiful blank canvas that my husband and I were able to add our on personal touches to. On the wedding day, Elkington looked like a magical garden. It is a great place to get all the wonders of the Eastern Shore: the bay, tall trees, farmland, southern charm and family history. Elizabeth and Will (and their family—including Maisey, their dog) were such a pleasure to work with. They were unbelievably kind and went above and beyond to accommodate our wedding needs! Personally, it is the BEST venue you on the shore. You are not buying a wedding package; you have the ability to create your own wedding dream and the Elkington Events team will help make it happen!!
