From the first time we walked into Elkins Estate, we knew this was where our dream wedding would take place. From that moment on, the process was nothing but wonderful. Ed, Devon, and the rest of the staff made planning the wedding seamless. They were a pleasure to work with and communicate with. Ed and Devon were more than accommodating and always willing to help. The venue is truly magical and made us feel as if we had been transported to a fairytale castle, all while being convenient for our friends and family to attend. We were lucky enough to have our rehearsal dinner at the venue, which was incredibly convenient. We were also able to spend the night before the wedding there, which made the day feel even more special. I would highly recommend staying the night before if you are able. The rehearsal dinner went smoothly, as did guest check-in. The food was excellent and was accompanied by a beer and wine open bar. The day of the wedding also went very smoothly. The only minor issue was a fire alarm that was accidentally triggered, but it was handled quickly. Overall, we felt very well taken care of. One small suggestion would be to consider sectioning off the billiards room while the groomsmen are getting ready so it can feel more private for them, as some guests passed through to reach their hotel rooms. Aside from that, everything was seamless. Ed and Devon were there to answer any questions and help with anything we needed. Our ceremony in the music room was picture-perfect and set up just as we had envisioned. This wedding truly was a dream come true for us. Everyone we’ve seen since that day has been raving about it. From the food to the décor, everyone has had positive things to say about all aspects of Elkins. During the planning process, we couldn’t imagine getting married anywhere else, and that remained true after the wedding. We cannot thank Ed and Devon enough for all they did for us—they are two very special people. I would recommend getting married here to anyone considering it.

Just got married on 9/21/2025 & Elstowe Manor at Elkins Estate was an absolute DREAM! The venue is a gorgeous rare gem for the Philadelphia area filled with European and Gilded Age charm, which is what drew my husband and I to it! Landmark catering & staff were amazing & our guests couldn’t stop raving about how great the food, drinks, and service was! As a bride I had a bridal attendant, Janet, for the day who literally made the day go so smoothly and made sure I was hydrated & that my dress was always perfect and I can not say nicer things about Janet- she was just wonderful!! Planning with Ed and Devon made us feel very comfortable- like family. Our only complaint as a bride & groom was the hotel booking system- our guests were frustrated with emailing to book rooms vs having a website/link and also not hearing back sometimes for days/weeks. This placed stress on my husband and I prior to the wedding, with getting in contact to make sure they had rooms when we thought it was being taken care of. Our guests who did stay were all very happy with their accommodations and the complimentary continental breakfast the next morning. All in all we were VERY happy and pleased & will treasure our memories from this day for forever!!!

place to go. Everything about the Elkins Estate wedding venue was absolute perfection and everyone was treated like royalty. Ed's staff paid attention to every detail. His professionalism mixed with his expertise, ability to communicate, share ideas and offer creative approaches are unparalleled. Guests were transported back to the Gilded age as they strolled the halls and property. Amy's historic tour of the place made the history of the estate come alive with her knowledge of the manor and those who occupied it. The cuisine was 5 Star, along with the beverage selections. The 5' plus hors d'oeuvre boards and the wide array of the culinary options made the cocktail hour shine. It was evident that a family team culture exists at the estate; and, we all were treated like family. The staff operated seamlessly, creating a sense of comfort knowing that all the fine details were handled with pride and joy. I personally appreciated the owner, Jeanne Cretella, taking the time to stop by and see how everything was going. When guests go out of their way to say it was the best wedding they have every attended, that speaks volumes. The bride and groom were in awe of their special weekend. It exceeded expectations for all!

rsonally, my bridal attendant made sure I was beyond well taken care of. The support and excitement she showed me was an incredible addition to my day. The messages from our guests have been echoing awe, extremely kind words regarding their experience, and highlighted the superb treatment and attention by all staff. Cocktail hour food and reception meals were delicious and various dietary restrictions were accommodated with ease! The work that the staff provided, did not go unnoticed, and their friendliness, attention to detail, and energy is something I hope the Landmark team is incredibly proud of. It's something that made the guest experience a step above! The only note I would provide, is to ensure that with the size of the reception space, sight/sound can be a challenge for those seated towards the back of the ballroom. Discuss this with your band leader/DJ to ensure there is no chatter during toasts and speeches!

provided was incredible. Every guest was wowed. I appreciated how flexible and accommodating the team was with building our menu. I would have given 5 stars, but think they could improve a few things. Overall booking the hotel venue was subpar through emails, guests noted alarms sounding throughout the night which kept them awake due to the fire alarm which went off during our ceremony, and at times their communications were slower than preferred leaving us confused on next steps.

was so kind & accommodating -- Ed was wonderful to work with. When we first toured it I thought this must be too good to be true but it was everything & more! We offered halibut & filet for our dinner; some people said it was the best they ever had. The evening flowed perfectly and I couldn't recommend it enough!!!

process, Ed helped accommodate our every need and was always responsive to all of our questions. Further, Elkins Estate was the only venue that offered a generous, interest-free payment plan that enabled us to make our day possible. Without it, planning our wedding day would have been much more challenging. One of the biggest selling points for us was that there were room accommodations on site which let us have our entire day in one location (i.e., welcome party, ceremony, reception, and overnight stay). The rooms are nice and updated and the honeymoon suite is beautiful. My one piece of feedback for the venue is to improve their booking system for guests as the only way to book rooms is through an email alias without any information or pictures of the rooms. Other than that, our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about the entire experience. The food was great and the service was outstanding. Nothing would have been possible without the exemplary help from Ed and the entire team! Highly recommend!!

Beyond the beauty of the place itself, the execution of our reception was incredible, with many guests complimenting the food, drink, and service. even just visiting this venue. This past weekend I got married at the elstowe manor, spanning from: Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Now it goes without saying, this property is breathtaking as you can see in pictures, so I will speak on what you cannot see in pictures. The committed, caring, and hardworking team that it takes to pull off events like a wedding. The day of my wedding, everything was going so smoothly, a perfect day in my eyes, that was until seconds before I was to walk out the door down the aisle… torrential rain came down like no tomorrow. While my guest, wedding party, musicians and more get absolutely drenched, I cried and cried and cried. Ed Rubin the man behind it all, sprinting around to find a solution, comes up to my father and I with glasses fogged up and his white button down stuck to his body from the rain, tells us the new game plan within minutes of the rain starting. Needless to say, rain or shine, Ed Rubin along with his team made our special day unforgettable in every positive way possible. For that I am forever grateful for them.

ouldn't turn out any other way than fantastic. Additionally, all our guests said that the food was truly delicious and way beyond what they've come to expect from wedding venues. As the Estate continues to renovate and upgrade its facilities (a massive undertaking given the size of the property and various buildings), this venue will only exceed the already high bar it has set as its baseline. Now, for the second part of the review... I'd like to make a special shout-out to Ed, who was our venue manager and wedding coordinator. Though all weddings have their hiccups, Ed personally took charge of dealing with any and all issues that came up, and was able to guide me and my wife up to, and through, this unforgettable day. We had to plan 98% of our wedding from China, where we live, and juggle the needs and expectations of multiple cultures... Ed helped us get it done. We decided to press on with an outdoor ceremony and at the last minute requested that guests not use umbrellas due to cultural sensitivities... Ed helped us get it done and managed to halt the rain literally as our processionals began. We found out after the fact that Ed personally stepped in and solved car troubles for multiple guests while my wife and I were busy celebrating our union, involving his own jumper cables and even helping to coordinate a key pickup from NYC... Ed got it done. At the end of the day, if you choose Elstowe Manor and are lucky enough to have Ed as your wedding day coordinator, you are securing about as good a venue as money can buy, and you are DEFINITELY securing a coordinator that will help you enjoy what will be an all-too-brief, but marvelous day in your and your partner's lives.

The Elkins Estate is a hidden gem tucked away in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. As you pull up through the iron gates, you feel like you're pulling up to another country far far away....

The architecture of the estate will wow you and your guests. Every room has it own unique beauty and serves its own purpose as you move through your wedding day. Jeanne and her team were extremely accommodating in helping us create our wedding day down to the last detail. I couldn't have planned a more perfect day at a more beautiful venue. If I had to do it all again, (which I wish I could), I'd call Jeanne back in a heartbeat.

e and it was because of the incredible team at Landmark Hospitality, specifically Jeanne Cretella and Catie Douglass and the rest of their amazing hospitality team that we and our guests had the most fabulous weekend of our lives. We booked Elkins a year and a half ago when it was under construction and just starting to be thoughtfully and carefully restored and renovated. We had no idea throughout most of the planning process exactly what it was going to look like. However, Jeanne’s hospitality mindset, grace, communication and “we’ll get it done!” attitude put us at ease throughout the planning process and allowed things to come together into a beautiful and seamless experience. I can’t imagine a more beautiful venue – truly. The team at landmark was such a joy to work with, and my husband and I will never, ever get over how dreamlike it was to get married and stay overnight there in their guest suites alongside our bridal/groom party. ALL of our guests could not stop talking about how gorgeous the venue was — it was, again, above and beyond what we could’ve imagined. Jeanne and her team made themselves so available to us throughout the process that it put us so much more at ease with the uncertainty of the venue being under construction. From the moment we walked into the venue the day before our wedding, her hospitality team put in so many little details to make this was the most memorable weekend — from having all of our appetizers and drinks waiting for Chris and I in a small side room after the ceremony so we could have a moment to ourselves (and have a bite to eat!) to custom “E” ice cubes in our guests rooms, to the snacks/drinks in each of the overnight rooms – the Landmark team made sure every need was met for all of our overnight guests. Finally, the food. The food was so delicious – it was honestly the best food I had ever had at a wedding, from the amazing apps during cocktail hour to our incredibleeeee main courses – we got SO MUCH feedback on our guests at how delicious everything was!!! Plus Jeanne and her team worked with us to curate wine selections and his/hers cocktails that got rave reviews all night. We wish we could go back and experience it all again. We are so glad we booked with the team at Elkins + Landmark Hospitality. If you are a couple looking to book here for your wedding, look no further for the most unique and perfect venue and hospitality team.
