DJ Leon absolutely killed it at our wedding!!! But seriously, we love this guy. From the very beginning of planning, he was so thoughtful and attentive to our wishes, and full of guidance and support when we were unsure of things. Everything flowed perfectly on the day of, the dance floor was popping during the party (with the help of his karaoke software), and it couldn't have gone any better. Leon also doubled as our MC - he ran a trivia game during the reception that had literally everyone engaged. I'm genuinely so impressed I could cry, we had the best day of our lives. Got a bunch of compliments from our guests as well. Would recommend over and over again to anyone and everyone!!

Hi, I'm Leon! (gov’t name: Leon Lee / DJ name: Leon de La $co) I’m the creator of Ella Luv Co, and a lifelong music lover from San Francisco. I've worked in radio, studied music and culture extensively while in grad school for Ethnic Studies, and even taught courses on Hip-Hop for youth and at universities—all while DJing! What started as a side gig blossomed into my full-time profession. I became the highest-reviewed DJ and manager at one of SoCal's largest DJ companies. But when it became clear that our values weren’t aligned, I left to build something better—a small, intentional business rooted in transparency, ethical practices, and genuine care. The “Co” in Ella Luv stands for: Collective. Compassion. Collaboration. Community. Commitment. Company — as in good company, not just a business.

went without a single hitch. The planning process was enjoyable, and he was very quick to respond. I would not hesitate to hire Leon. He has extensive knowledge of all music genres and also jumped in with some wedding planning advice throughout the meeting. It was obvious to us that he was passionate about making the day meet our wildest dreams. DJ Leon had the extra challenge of coordinating with my cousin who sang and played guitar for our first dance. DJ Leon was patient and timely while working out every small detail for my cousin's performance. Throughout our big day, I could hear DJ Leon's clear and commanding voice giving our guests the instructions they needed to keep the night flowing smoothly. Multiple people came up to us during the wedding to tell us how much they are enjoying our DJ! Thank you Leon for treating our day with so much care and excitement.

d chatting with him, we knew he was the perfect fit. From our first planning session to the final song, he was an absolute professional. The playlists were fun to create, but ultimately, we trusted Leon to curate the night and he delivered wonderfully. He captured our style, ranging from K-hip hop to some fun emo night music. His collaboration with our other vendors ensured a perfect flow all night. After the wedding, so many of our guests complimented his work. The dance floor stayed busy all night! We highly recommend Leon for any event! Truly one of a kind.

ng was the easiest LEAST STRESSFUL and actually fun meeting of them all. I had FULL TRUST that he would not disappoint after having a casual conversation with him about our music interests, songs we definitely wanted to hear, and what our guests would enjoy. We really only discussed vibes (millennials and asian family members), genres (throwback, EDM, emo), and the big songs of the day (ceremony, grand entrance, first dance, last song of the night). OUR DANCEFLOOR WAS LITTY. So lit that our friends booked DJ Leon for their wedding too! They asked for his contact info while at our wedding because they were having such a good time. Quite frankly, my friend (the groom) was an instant super fan. I, myself, danced the ENTIRE TIME at their wedding also. The songs were always so good that I couldn’t leave the dance floor! My body was so sore I had to get a massage that week LOL. DJ Leon as a person is a genuine soul who truly cares about his clients as people and the human experience. He has an understanding of a wide variety of music genres (we also requested French cafe for pre-ceremony and R&B for cocktail hour) and his song transitions are seamless (an important detail for us). He will NOT let your dancefloor die. He WILL guarantee a great freaking time. He understands the stress of wedding planning (or any event planning) and will put you at ease. We love DJ Leon! that we thought through all of our choices by being a perfect balance of listening and providing guidance. One of the toughest parts is getting transitions right, and Leon helped us from beginning to end, not just with music but with making sure guests flowed to the right places. On music, his ability to fuse and mix different styles together is unmatched, and he will take the things you like and create a perfect mix around it. You can easily tell how much love he has for his craft from his alone. He’s a talented and genuine person, and anyone that works with him will be guaranteed to have a great experience!

anted during the ceremony, reception, and dance floor and he curated the perfect playlist for each part of the night. Seriously, it was so good my partner and I enjoyed every song he played. For our grand entrance, first dance, and parent dances he made sure that every song started and ended at the exact moment we wanted it to. His transitions from song to song were seamless, which kept the energy going all night and the dance floor full up until the very end. He was also able to get the parents and the younger guests dancing and having a good time. And he also made our wedding trivia game so fun and energetic. DJ Leon was easy to work with and a lot of fun to have at our wedding. Many of our guests also asked us for his contact so they could book him for other events and weddings. We would absolutely recommend DJ Leon as a DJ and emcee.
