Ella Luv Co is a San Diego wedding DJ and MC service for anyone celebrating love—couples, traditional or nontraditional relationships (ask me about the time I DJ'ed a throuple's wedding—humble flex), chosen families, and people who want their celebration to feel genuinely theirs.
Full DJ + MC + lighting, ceremony sound, cocktail hour, reception. High-end equipment, backup systems, personalized planning. Headquartered in Escondido. Serving San Diego, OC, LA, and beyond. Will travel for love.

Why did you lead with "empathy"—what does that have to do with DJing?
Well, everything. DJing is musicality and technical skill, true. But empathy is the care that goes into it.
That means:
• No generic playlists. Everything is curated to honor your story.
• Getting to know you and your guests—reading the room, adapting in real time.
• High-end setups (no giant cases on dirty tablecloths). Not cutting corners, not even down to the cables.
• Real preparation goes into your event—studying your itinerary, learning pronunciations of names, curating your song selections, testing everything with contingency plans in place.
And importantly, it means: making everyone feel welcomed, safe, and seen. Loud, chill, bubbly, punk, boujee, unapologetic, queer, neurodivergent, BIPOC, immigrant—everyone.
Your 70-year-old grandma who loves cumbia and your friends holding up "Play Bad Bunny" on their foreheads. One side of the family that loves Bollywood, the other into Afrobeats. K-Pop to Disco, Persian and Arabic classics—we hold space for it all with deep knowledge and respect across genres and cultures.

Founded by Leon Lee (DJ Leon de La $co). I spent years as the highest-rated DJ and manager at one of SoCal's largest DJ companies. When our values weren't compatible anymore, I left to build Ella Luv Co—a small, intentional business built on transparency, ethical practices, and genuine care.

Hi, I'm Leon! (gov’t name: Leon Lee / DJ name: Leon de La $co) I’m the creator of Ella Luv Co, and a lifelong music lover from San Francisco.
I've worked in radio, studied music and culture extensively while in grad school for Ethnic Studies, and even taught courses on Hip-Hop for youth and at universities—all while DJing! What started as a side gig blossomed into my full-time profession.
I became the highest-reviewed DJ and manager at one of SoCal's largest DJ companies. But when it became clear that our values weren’t aligned, I left to build something better—a small, intentional business rooted in transparency, ethical practices, and genuine care.
The “Co” in Ella Luv stands for:
Collective. Compassion. Collaboration. Community. Commitment. Company — as in good company, not just a business.
