I did my own makeup but I had Isabel for my hair and she was phenomenal. I did two trials because I was so indecisive and she nailed both. Even after the two trials I still ended up changing my wedding hair slightly and she executed it perfectly and exactly like my photo/how I wanted. When she showed me the finished look, I literally had no notes, and it stayed flawless all day and night without a single touch-up. Alexandra did the makeup for some of my bridesmaids and my mom, and everyone looked stunning. The looks were the perfect balance of natural and glam. SO many amazing reviews, so I decided to book them for my wedding in December. Michelle was so professional and kind during the planning process, making sure to work around my schedule to plan out when the previews would be. Everything was detailed and made it so easy for me, the bride, to work with her team! My hair and makeup artist even came to my apartment in Chicago for my previews when I told Michelle that I couldn't make it out to their studio (!!!). The previews were amazing and my hair and makeup artist both listened so intently to what my vision was for my December wedding and made tweaks based on my feedback, too. I don't tend to wear a lot of makeup to begin with, so I was looking for a very relaxed, natural and romantic look for my wedding day. And holy cow, did they deliver. The team was prompt and on-time for the wedding day, they were fun to talk to and personable, which made me so much more relaxed that morning. The products were incredible - my makeup stayed on the entire day and lasted all night and my hair looked relaxed and romantic like I wanted, but still didn't fall all night! Even in the bright sun and FREEZING wind for pictures, both my hair and makeup still looked amazing. I couldn't recommend Elle Artistry enough - they were awesome to work with and made my wedding day vision come to life! Thank you thank you thank you!

That make-up was on for over 12 hours, and not only did it not bleed, my face is zit free 3 days later. The owner, Michelle, is also incredibly responsive. I had my schedule 2 months prior to the wedding date, and they easily made last minute adjustments based on my hair stylist's schedule. I would recommend them to anyone. Mackenzie herself was personable and detail-oriented. As you'll see in the photos: we all looked great.

I had Nini for my make up and Darlena to do my hair, and they both made me feel at ease and listened to all of my ideas for the style and type of hair and make up I wanted. On wedding day, they did an amazing job of listening to my feedback from the trial to make any necessary edits for wedding day. I wanted a natural look with my make up and curled tucked back hair, and it all turned out exactly how I envisioned! We had a cold, wet, snowy wedding day and both my hair and make up held up through outdoor photos at the lyric opera! Nini, Darlena, and Ciarra all did hair and make up for my 5 bridesmaids and 2 moms, and everyone looked gorgeous!!! They did an incredible job of giving each person the look they wanted, and everyone was so happy with how their looks turned out! The team also kept on track with the schedule Michelle and Taylor provided us for wedding day, which is so helpful because being behind on hair and make up can throw off the entire wedding day timeline - luckily this team was amazing and we were right on time as planned. After hair and make up we had plenty of time for touch ups and were able to ease right into our getting ready photos and the rest of the day. to respond, clear with communication and have reasonable prices. Val did a consultation with me two weeks before the big day and she was able to nail the look I was going for. The hair and makeup stayed in place all day and I didn't even need to touch up once! I was worried about wearing red lipstick and having it smear when kissing my husband but it stayed and looked great in photos. Would highly recommend for future brides!

On the business side of things - Michelle is exceptionally organized (along with Taylor) they were always so quick to answer all of my questions, rearrange schedules, and Michelle herself stepped in to be my second artist when we realized I miscounted the number of services at the last minute. The morning of the wedding, Alex and Michelle literally felt like members of the bridal party. They were so sweet and made us all feel so comfortable and confident. When Alex finished my makeup, I literally gasped in disbelief in the best way possible. It was beyond perfect. Alex's skill and attention to details is off the charts. I was sad to wash it off at the end of the night because it still looked so good! Overall, I could not be happier with my deicision to book Elle Artistry and my only regret is not booking them for hair too. They are exceptional in every way. Thank you Alex and Michelle!
