We loved our flowers. The main florist, also the owner, made sure to ask plenty of questions to get a feel for our style & design. We could sense her genuine care for her role in our wedding. Never did we feel disrespected or that her opinion was more important than ours. Instead, she always seemed to find ways to make our floral dreams happen, and otherwise offer alternatives to meet our budget and style. We felt like the price was fair, especially for the quality. Never did we feel cheated out. She was very respectful and concerned to make everything as we liked it. Finesse with all her work, and she never stressed us out. She took care of everything, but always made sure we approved. I trusted her, and she showed that she cared for her job. She even flew out to do our wedding flowers! She was very flexible and the end product was spectacular. She's the best florist I've ever worked with, and I've helped with at least a dozen weddings before mine. I would definitely recommend her to anyone for any occasion, but especially weddings. :)

Ellie Wedding Designs was recommended to me by my mother-in-law. When we met for our initial consultation, Ellie and her partner immediately understood my vision for a rustic, fall wedding. The sample flowers they selected based on just a couple email exchanges were perfect. They were totally professional and responded to all questions in a timely manner. The costs were extremely reasonable as well. I provided bottles for the centerpieces and additional decor items which Ellie also setup as part of our agreement. The bouquets perfectly tied together our mix and match bridesmaid dresses. My I had pretty specific tastes and requests, and the flowers and decor exceeded all expectations. I was absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out. I cannot thank Ellie and her team enough for helping to make our day so beautiful!

She is very dedicated, listened to every single of our needs. Her flowers were also very fresh, they lasted us for several day afterwards at other events! Ellie was really very helpful, I can't laud her enough. She advised on pieces we didn't even think about, and gave us ideas for making our display nicer - even when what we wanted was costlier! I was so honored to have Ellie wedding designs come out to Portland, OR to do my flowers for my summer intimate wedding consisting of mercury glass, gold, mint and peach tones. They went above and beyond my expectations. They listened and working with me on creating my ideas come to life. I LOVED working with Ellie during our wedding planning process and day of the wedding. I highly recommend using Ellie Wedding Designs as your florist because she makes everything so effortless and perfect. When looking for florists for our June 2015 wedding, I admit that I didn't really know (or care) who we booked as long as the flowers looked pretty and it wasn't very expensive. I went into picking flowers with the mindset that I knew I needed a pretty bouquet and obviously wanted everything at the venue to look nice but I was more concerned with making sure my guests had a good time and less concerned with all the little details. While I can still admit that I was less concerned with all the details, working with Ellie made me actually EXCITED to talk about and figure out our flowers :). When I only could show her some pinterest pictures of what I liked and didn't actually know the names of flower types, she was able to patiently walk me through it and some me some examples and other pictures of her work. When I knew I wanted something special to give to my sorority sisters at the reception, she helped me come up with ideas for that as well! She put me at ease and made everything so stress free. Walking into her studio for our first meeting, I was a little apprehensive as I had been told a couple times before that what I wanted was not possible within my limited flower budget. That wasn't the case at all with Ellie. I told her my budget and we worked together to figure out how to get everything done and beautiful in a cost effective way! Where other companies told me I could save money by picking up my flowers the morning of (thereby forgoing a delivery fee... who has time for that on their wedding day?!), that was never a possibility with Ellie. She takes such pride in her work that she INSISTS delivering all her flowers personally to each location that needs it. The morning of, she delivered the bouquets to Philly where the girls were getting ready, then dropped off and PINNED the boutonnieres on each of the groomsmen in Bryn Mawr and then personally dropped off and set up all the centerpieces at the reception venue in Radnor. Her attention to detail and personalized service in everything she did was incredible. At the end of the night, because we had a couple of vases, candlesticks, etc, that we rented from her, she came BACK to the reception venue when it ended and picked everything up! I couldn't have been happier with how everything came out. All arrangements were stunning and complemented each other perfectly. While I have written positive reviews for most of my other venders, I can honestly say that Ellie was by far, my easiest vender to work with. I highly recommend!

Ellie was amazing to work with. My bridal bouquet was exquisite. She came up with great ideas of color schemes to go with red bridesmaids dresses. She listened to what I wanted and helped me to make selections to keep within my budget. She does quality work and it shows. Everything was beautiful.

Ellie is an incredibly talented florist!!! I can't even begin to describe how beautiful all the flowers for our wedding were.. from the arrangements in our ceremony, to the smaller arrangements for cocktail hour, to our centerpieces, to the bouquets (OH MY GOSH)!! It's funny because I found all these idea for arrangements on pinterest and when I showed some of them to Ellie, she gave me her expert advice and thought I should change a few things. I was extremely reluctant to do so and although she thought I should go another route, she did what I wanted and brought some arrangements during our first meet. I quickly realized.. SHE WAS RIGHT. I went with her ideas, mixed with mine, and I seriously could not have been more happy! The compliments about all the flower arrangements were fantastic... SO PRETTY. She incorporated sun flowers because it was my mom's favorite flower but also added her own touches and everything looked perfect. I recommend Ellie for any event where flowers are wanted, but especially for weddings!!!

Fate made it happen. We met Ellie at a bridal showcase. Her display bouquet showcased my exact wedding colors, fuschia pink and lime green. I knew it was meant to be. Before meeting her though, we met with a vendor recommended by our venue. After meeting with Ellie, what a clear difference in styles. The recommended vendor made us feel as if we didn't know what we wanted and gave us an outrageous price tag that we simply couldn't afford. We were lost until we found Ellie. She met with us in a location that was closer to our home, very convenient and accommodating for us. She listened to exactly what we wanted and help to bring it to life. All this at an affordable reasonable cost to us. It wasn't just that though that made this experience so great. It was the comfort we felt in voicing our opinions and in her giving us professional advice. She was so pleasant and warm. It was easy to communicate via email, phone, and in person. We felt comfortable giving her the reigns in putting together our vision for us and knowing that she would produce nothing but outstanding work. Her work was amazing! She turned our wedding into a lovely work of art. We used her to help with decorations for the ceremony, for our seating table display, flowers for the cake, and for 15 tables throughout the whole room. She put her touches into it all and I never saw flowers looking more romantic, lively, and lovely (yes, all this at the same time!). I got a lot of compliments from my guests and some took flowers home after the reception because they were so pretty. I got a picture from a friend a month later showing me the flower was still thriving! I can't thank Ellie Wedding Designs enough! They were one of my favorite vendors to work with. Thank you Ellie!

Ellie was such a pleasure to work with! From the moment I met her I knew she was the one for my wedding. With very little details from me I showed up to our appointment and she had the exact flowers I was looking for and even sent me home with a huge bouquet. She then had me look through a few albums to pick and choose what I like. She listened very closely to every detail I brought up. When the wedding day came I was ecstatic with the way the flowers looked. In the end I left much of the creativity up to Ellie and she came through in a huge way! Every single detail was perfect. The flowers brought together my whole wedding. They were so fresh looking. The bouquets were so big and full and beautiful! I was married early October and some of the orchids she used are still alive! That just shows the quality that Ellie provides! Ellie was my favorite vendor and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone who is getting married!

Where do I begin. Ellie is absolutely amazing. Her and her daughter are such a great team and every time we met they were always so prepared, full of ideas. From the moment u met them they were so welcoming and friendly, easy to talk to. I was blown away by the amazing and beautiful job Ellie did for our wedding. Ellie helped me out SO MUCH when I was in a bind! A month before the wedding my original florist closed up shop without a word and left me without a florist. I was devastated. And anyone I tried to get for my big day, wasn't available. However, thanks to my venue, Ellie can to the rescue and did the beautiful bouquets for me and my girls and the boutonnieres and corsages; even honoring most the original contract the other florist gave me. And they were absolutely gorgeous and a still alive-- though wilting a bit-- a week after my wedding.

My experience with Ellie was wonderful! I actually contacted her about a month before my wedding and she was able to work with me. At our first meeting she showed me all of her unlimited designs that she offers. There was so much to choose from. I described to her what style and colors I wanted, and she worked her magic! My bridesmaids' bouquets were gorgeous and distinctive. Everything was so classy and beautiful. Besides being an outstanding flower designer Ellie also made an amazing background wedding banner. The banner was so creative and unique! It was also very nice that she attended the entire wedding. Ellie was a big part of why my wedding day was a success. For my wedding I wanted to unite two different styles but I wasn't sure how to properly reflect them in the flowers. When I spoke to Ellie, she was able to easily determine what flowers would look great and how to arrange them. I trusted her instincts as a florist and I was not disappointing! All of my flowers were gorgeous and unique. All of the details I requested were done. Everything was delivered on time. Ellie and her team was such a pleasure to work with! I planned my New Jersey wedding from Indiana and only spoke with Ellie by phone and email. I did not meet Ellie until the wedding but she met my mom at the venue once and showed her the best places to put flowers. I sent Ellie pictures of the types of bouquets I liked and gave her the colors. Ellie sent me pictures of different arrangements with different types of flowers and options based on my budget. At the wedding, the flowers were exactly what I wanted! Ellie really listened to what I wanted, created gorgeous centerpieces, and all within my budget. i met ellie at a bridal show in ocean city,nj. as soon as i saw her display i knew she would do my wedding...i never even went anywhere else.her work is stunning. my flowers,centerpieces and extras were unlike anything i have ever seen. the attention to detail was unbelievable. she coordinated everything so beautifully. i gave her total control of it all and she did not disappoint!! i will always recommend her..to me there is no one else that can do what she does. i have been to many weddings and have never ever seen anything close to what she can do!! ellie is the absolute best!!

Ellie did the flowers for my wedding and they all turned out beautiful! I changed my mind about 100 times since the first time we met with her but she was very understanding and worked to get exactly what I wanted within my budget! Its great that she does only weddings - especially if you are getting married near a holiday where florists might be busy!

She brought a center piece vase for me to see as an example. She is VERY good at figuring the brides style and likes. I went with ellie wedding design after she worked for my sisters wedding. I am sooo extremely lucky to have stumbled across Ellie's table at the Cape May bridal show in planning my wedding. How could I not? Ellie's displays were unique, beautiful, and were certainly way above average. Of course, when I saw how beautiful the displays were, I thought "Oh, I won't be able to afford these!" but, I was wrong. Ellie works with you on your budget and helps to customize your flower dreams with what you can afford. Having 8 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen, I needed a deal! Moreover, Ellie worked with me on possible arrangements for a "rain plan" -- she had an arch that she could bring in and decorate inside if it rained. Fortunately, it didn't rain. I got married at The Southern Mansion in Cape May, NJ. I had one important request--that was, "I am getting married under a gazebo that needs to be decorated, and I HATE tulle". I wasn't sure of other options, but Ellie made up a BEAUTIFUL shower of orchids that blew so gracefully in the wind. I was absolutely astonished by my bouquets and centerpieces which consisted of peonies, ranunculus, hydrangea, and anemones (especially for me!), and ostrich feathers to match my victorian/vintage theme. Ellie was great in suggesting flowers that were in season, (like which flowers could wilt and which would last longer)..and that's just what I needed. Her knowledge and expertise, along with her unique style and training, made my wedding the day I've always dreamed of. I can honestly say that the flowers in my wedding were my favorite part of the day ... (well, besides getting married to my best friend!). I would HIGHLY recommend Ellie, as I did to my sister who was married months later. She also did a GORGEOUS job on my sister's wedding, filled with astonishing orchids :) (but i'll let her review further). Go with Ellie!! You will not regret it!

They greeted me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, they had albums upon albums of their work, and they were absolutely professional! I had gone to a Floral Shop before meeting her and I had told Ellie what flowers the shop was trying to sell to me with my low budget. Ellie was able to not only work with my budget, but she also gave me the best quality flowers I could ask for (better than the ones the shop would have given me...). She was there for me the whole entire planning process and she would answer my crazy emails quickly, giving her advise and ideas. I must say she was extremely patient with me!
