nd supportive. In renting the property, you get the whole estate (92 acres!) for the entire weekend. We had the rehearsal dinner on the outdoor patio, the ceremony by the outdoor fountain, reception in the formal dining room, and Sunday brunch in the sunny Conservatory. The hotel rooms are very expensive but gorgeous. There are only 13 (still renovating and adding more in the near future) but there are nearby hotels. Book early!! The hotels in Lenox are mostly small and fill up very quickly. We used Seven Hills which was so lovely. The Hampton Inn is one of the larger properties but already had a block of rooms for another wedding by the time I called (7-8 months in advance). Planning a wedding at Elm Court is a little more work than some other hotels. For example, you need to find your own caterer, but quality of food was really important to me, so I loved this about the venue. There is also no wedding coordinator. There is a small staff who are wonderful at providing names of local vendors but on the day of the wedding their role was to protect the property. They did not have the bandwidth to coordinate with the vendors and help set up. So, if possible, budget in at least a day of coordinator to help out. The Elm Court Estate truly made my wedding. It is a stunning property that is very well managed with incredible history and charm. If you like the pictures online, go out for a visit. You will fall in love with this venue.
