I would highly recommend Lauren and Katie from ELM. They were beyond amazing and the day of was incredible because of them. They coordinated everything seamlessly and kept everyone and everything on track. They were super professional, kind, patient and really cared about the details and about us having the best time and not worrying about anything. Throughout the planning process if we changed our minds they were very flexible and totally fine with it, never pushed us into anything. No words can do them justice on how great they were and how thankful we were to have them for this amazing event they put on. Definitely recommend them over and over again!

We used ELM Events for our November 24th wedding at Lowndes Grove in Charleston, and to say they were amazing wouldn't do them justice. Our original date was September 15th, but we had to reschedule because of Hurricane Florence. As a bride, it was my worst nightmare come true, but Lauren swiftly sprung to action to reschedule literally EVERY vendor for our new date (even more incredible knowing how competitive the Charleston wedding market is). Things were rebooked in a matter of hours. She called me to assure me everything was going to be beautiful and it completely put my mind at ease. And it was the best day ever- the proof is in the pictures.

I will praise Lauren and ELM Events for the rest of our marriage. We planned for over a year, and Lauren understood my entire vision for my wedding and went above and beyond. She helped us make a dream wedding. We booked all the vendors, but ELM did everything else. The design was stunning. The final week leading up to the wedding she made sure I and my mother were stress free, and took care of everything you could possibly think of. The day of the wedding went so smooth and she helped us have a wonderful time. I’m so thankful for ELM Events, and will always recommend to anyone in search of a planner.

My husband and I used the partial planning package from ELM Events for our wedding this past weekend and they. were. amazing. My husband and I both agree Hiring ELM was the best money we spent - we were unsure whether we really needed a planner, but I literally cannot imagine how we could have pulled off the wedding without them! Like most couples, we were pretty inexperienced in all things wedding, and Lauren and Katie were there to help and guide us every step of the way. We loved all their recommended vendors we used (though we did go with a few of our own as well) and they worked with us to create a design plan that exactly fit our style and budget. About ~6 weeks out from the wedding, they took over all logistics, vendor communication, and final preparations - I can't stress how valuable this was for us!! We were able to enjoy our last few weeks of being engaged and feel confident that everything on our big day would run smoothly with Lauren and Katie in charge. We ended up having some last minute changes we were considering due to weather -- they were amazingly flexible, kind, and gave invaluable advice. On the day of the wedding, they managed every last detail from the vendors setting up our rentals to getting the groom mic'ed for the ceremony to corralling our wedding party for their entrances, making sure we always had food & a drink, and cleaning up everything afterwards. I can't thank them enough for making our wedding the best day ever and allowing us to truly enjoy the day!!!

Lauren and her team truly deserve 1 million stars! From the moment we spoke with Lauren on the phone, we just immediately felt at ease with the planning process! Lauren always answered our questions and if we ever had any concerns she was there to address them right away. We had hurricane Florence threatening us just one short week away from our wedding, and being a destination wedding for us we really didn't know if this wedding was happening or not. As you can imagine, we were a nervous wreck. Lauren would call us, text us, and email us to check in and reassure us that everything will work out. She always remained positive which is vital in this industry! We ended up lucking out with a beautiful sunny day and no sign of a hurricane (phew) - Lauren was right, it all worked out! On the wedding day Lauren was there bright and early to greet us at the venue and took care of EVERYTHING so that we didn't have to worry one bit! Using ELM Events for our wedding was the best decision we could've made for our recent destination wedding in Charleston. Because my husband and I aren't local, we didn't even know where to begin with selecting vendors. Lauren Miller absolutely KILLED it with her vendor recommendations. On the day of our wedding I didn't worry about a thing and actually got to enjoy my wedding day from start to finish-stress free. Lauren took control of every situation to make sure the day flowed perfectly and had her tool kit ready to go when I had dress issues. The design she put together was everything I had imagined and more. I also worked with Katie who couldn't have been sweeter. We forgot our guest book at the hotel and she ran back to pick it up for us-sounds simple, but it's nice knowing that we didn't have to lift a finger on our wedding day. All of our guests are still talking about how our wedding was the "best wedding they've ever been to" and that's in large part due to Lauren and her team!

I can’t say enough good things about Lauren and Emma. From day one Lauren made me feel completely confident in planning our wedding day. Every email she responded quickly and was so helpful with every question or concern I had. On the day of our wedding, it rained the whole day. Lauren and Emma reassured me over and over that no matter what they had everything under control. We were able to bring a tent for the ceremony that Nathan and I still say was the best decision we made and it was all thanks to Lauren. She is not only one of the sweetest people I have ever made but she is so talented and it shows in her work. I couldn’t recommend ELM events enough to plan your wedding. Lauren is a wedding planning maestro -- there are infinite moving parts to a wedding, but she effortlessly plans and executes. She teed up amazing options for vendors based on my preferences and budget, and I couldn't have been happier with our choices. Her checklists and timelines ensured that we stayed on track and didn't miss any details. She delivered stellar customer service throughout the process -- from answering our endless questions in a timely fashion to calming our nerves as first-time wedding planners. Where do I even begin...Lauren Miller was absolutely AMAZING!!! I don't know what we would have done without her!!! Hands down, the best decision in planning our wedding was hiring ELM Events! From the first initial meeting, I knew we were in great hands. Planning your wedding can be overwhelming, but she helped ease my mind every step of the way. A few days before our wedding, Hurricane Irma was on track to hit Charleston. I had no idea if we were going to have to post pone it. Lauren contacted me immediately and assured me she was already taking care of everything. She had been contacting all of the vendors and preparing a backup plan, if we needed it. I literally wanted to cry tears of joy, because she had everything under control! Her main focus was for me to relax and think positive thoughts, while she handled everything else. I can't explain how grateful I was for that and how she calmed my mind!! The hurricane came and went and the weather was perfect by the time the Wedding Day came. That first Design Meeting, I told her my vision of the wedding day, and she brought it to life!! Every single aspect, and when I walked into the venue to get a peak, my jaw dropped! It was even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined!! There is NO WAY we could have done this without Lauren and her team! My husband and I are still having people tell us how beautiful the wedding was, and I owe it all to her! She went above and beyond as our Wedding Planner! Even going as far as to drive to our house during the wedding, because we left our marriage certificate there and she did NOT want us to regret not signing it that night. Literally, went to our house to pick it up! I am so incredibly grateful she did so that we could sign it, with our friends and family to witness, on our wedding day. We worked with Katie from ELM events as our 'month of' coordinator, and we are so so grateful that we did. Katie was in touch with us throughout the entire planning process, gathering details and keeping us informed. At the month out mark, Katie took over vendor communication, and it was SUCH A RELIEF!! If we had any questions, we just asked Katie, and it was taken care of! On our wedding day, she made sure everything was running on time and took the burden off our family and friends, so that everyone could enjoy the day. When we booked ELM we were not sure if we really 'needed' this service, but after the wedding we all agreed that this was invaluable to our sanity and enjoyment of our wedding day. We highly recommend ELM Events!

Lauren and her team were perfect for our Kiawah Island wedding! We did the month of coordination and design packages and it was well worth it. I had a very stress free month of wedding as she coordinated all the final details, confirmed all the vendors, and sent me a detailed timeline. She also kept me on track with what I had to do as well prior to her taking over. Trust her judgement and she will not steer you wrong. We couldn't have been happier with ELM!!

ELM is the best! Lauren and Katie were absolutely wonderful to work with and the day was perfect because of them. They were imperative throughout the planning process. The day of was so smooth! From the moment I arrived to get ready, every single detail was taken care of and I was able to fully relax and enjoy the day. I don't even know where to start! From the moment I met Lauren at Starbucks, I knew we would hit it off! She also made the Hibernian Hall look like a DREAM come true with the most beautiful fabrics, linens, mirror bars, furniture, and tables! She made the room come alive, and inviting with her setup- which I completely left up to her! My dad and I LOVED working with Lauren! Lauren, Katie, and Amanda were AMAZING and FUN to work with! Working with ELMS made my life easy and is WORTH the money. My day truly would not have been as wonderful as it was! It was a dream come true!!! I would highly suggest ELM events. Lauren is the best wedding planner I could've asked for! She and Katie helped my husband and I all along the way, catered to our style, and helped us to feel calm through the whole process. Lauren Miller is absolutely amazing at what she does! Throughout the entire planning process (and over a year and a half of time) Lauren was extremely responsive and helpful. Her expertise and advice went a long way and it truly felt like I was working with a close friend. I knew she understood me and had my best interests at heart. I would highly recommend ELM Events, Lauren is truly amazing and wonderful to work with!

Booking Lauren and ELM Events happened by pure luck - my parents were visiting Magnolia Plantation (our wedding venue) and Lauren was there that day setting up for another wedding. They started chatting, my mom grabbed her business card, and weeks later when I was narrowing down wedding planners, I stumbled across her card. Being an out-of-town bride, I didn't get to meet Lauren until we were in town a few months before our big day to take our engagement photos. Walking through our venue together (the first time I was seeing it in person, actually!), Lauren helped put my fears to ease and went through all the details with us about where things would be, what the day's timeline would look like, what our options were if the weather wasn't perfect, etc. Her team was able to help in the months leading up to the wedding when I was having problems reaching one of our vendors, and was always there to brainstorm/review contract details. Once we arrived in Charleston the week of our wedding, I didn't have to stress once, as I knew our wedding was in great hands. Our officiant was unable to attend our wedding rehearsal, so it was great to have Lauren there to help everyone figure out what we needed to do. When rain was in the forecast for the day of our big day, Lauren walked me through three different options on how to handle the rain, and quickly took care of renting a tent for us when we decided that was our best option. While it didn't end up raining, I knew ELM Events would have been there to make sure we were taken care of, and there were no hiccups. My only regret is that I don't think I used Lauren and her team to their full potential - by the time we had booked ELM Events to help with our wedding planning, I had a fair amount of details done, and I probably took on way more things myself than I should have. But Lauren and her team were so sweet, and made us feel like family, and I'm so glad we booked with ELM Events.

When my plan for a smaller wedding didn't work for another vendor, she recommend Lauren and I am so very thankful for the referral! Lauren and Katie were patient, kind and helpful every step along the way. They recommended excellent vendors and guided us toward exactly what we'd imagined for our wedding, including the ceremony and the reception layout. The day of went extremely smoothly and I couldn't imagine using another vendor- small or large wedding- if I had to do it over again.

Lauren and her team were fantastic to work with throughout the entire process! I decided to do a short term engagement and Lauren took it in stride to create a wedding in 5 months that looked like we'd spend 2 years planning. She captured my style perfectly and never acted like I was a bother when I wanted change things. She was great for advice and steered me in the right direction any time I needed help. Lauren Miller is amazing. The look & feel portion of our wedding was the most important piece to me. So once I interviewed Lauren to be my planner and saw all her design work, I didn't interview anyone else. My fiance and I are in NYC and my parents are in Atlanta, so trying to go it alone on the planning process wasn't an option. We used Elm Events for their Full Service package -- Light planning begins a year out (big plans like location, band, caterer, etc) and gets much more intensive 2 months closer to the wedding (day of details, final seating, etc). Lauren did an amazing job of keeping us stress free -- She had an agenda so that whenever we needed to get something done, we knew and had plenty of time. She kept our options simple, choosing her favorite few spots when it came to food and bar companies, based on our budget (sometimes we went over budget on some parts but we trusted her to know what was best!). I met with Lauren only 2x (being an out-of-town bride) and when we met, it was like catching up with an old friend. She truly makes you feel that her job revolves around your big day (and not all the other brides she's also planning for). Everyone loved her. We didn't even do a rehearsal before the main event and it went very smoothly with 10 bridesmaids/10 groomsmen. Her assistant Katie was also a gem. As we got closer to the date and were working through timeline, Katie got involved and was wonderful and quickly responsive to anything. We got married at Legare Waring House in West Ashley on 10/31/15 -- She's done more weddings there than any other planner in the area, so if you're getting married there, she's a mandatory choice! Girl's got clout. In sum, Lauren was able to recommend & coordinate food, flowers, bar, rentals, desserts, photographers (Aaron & Jillian were AMAZING) down to a T. Every one of my guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to (actually Pintrest worthy). If you have a vision, Lauren will make it come to light, and better. And if you don't have a vision, she'll work out something fabulous, I promise. Also, if you're thinking of not having a wedding planner, re-think that. It will make your like 1000x better and easier.

Lauren Miller is a pro! She calmly guided us through some hectic and frantic times to a wedding that flowed seamlessly! Lauren was available to us anytime we needed her. We would recommend her to anyone that wants perfection!

Lauren made my wedding experience as stress free as humanly possible! If you're considering a wedding planner, do it! I love that on the day of the wedding that Lauren consulted me about any changes, instead of making it her wedding it was truly mine! Lauren and Katie, the team at ELM were amazing to work with! We were planning our South Carolina wedding from Chicago, so we booked ELM to help us with our last month of planning, and day of coordination. Katie was such a huge help coordinating all of our vendors the last month of planning and making sure we had all the details covered. Being someone who is already pretty organized, it was a huge relief to know I had someone else to double check all my work and help me wrap everything up. When we finally met Lauren the week before the wedding, she was the sweetest, most down to earth person. I felt so at ease leaving everything else in her hands. She was super flexible to last minute changes, and allowed us to really enjoy our days in Charleston before the wedding. We hired Lauren Miller/Elm Events to help coordinate the vendors for my daughter's wedding. Right away my daughter said she felt at ease with Lauren and their personalities clicked. As mother of the bride I can say Lauren was a calming presence during the wedding rehearsal through the wedding day. Elm Events was a lifesaver for our August wedding at Alhambra Hall! Lauren and her team were flexible, helpful, kind and on point all night! Wow! There are no words to describe how amazing Lauren Miller is. She is the most easy going, organized, and creative planner I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
