me the same day to confirm that Rev. Jamie Lynn Haskins was available for our wedding day. From there, we started to email about details of the day. Chantal was very straightforward with next steps. She connected us with Rev. Jamie Lynn who reached out a couple of days later to set up a consultation before booking. We immediately felt comfortable with her, she discussed her background, how she typically does things, asked and answered any questions that we had. We are not religious so we knew that having someone who would craft a ceremony that fit our personalities was so important to us. She assured us that would not be an issue and it never was. We booked ElopeRVA in June of 2021 for our wedding in July 2022. Rev. Jamie Lynn reached out to use about 3 months before the wedding to start creating our ceremony. She was always easy to get a hold of and schedule something. She was clear about her availability and made sure to work with us and our schedules too. We set up another zoom call in which she really tried to get to know us so she could create the best ceremony possible. She asked us how we met, what we loved about each other, and other more intimate details about us and our relationship. She then sent us a rough draft of the ceremony so we could approve the wording and language used and some sample vow options to help us narrow down our choices. She was so careful to be respectful of what we wanted and asked all the right questions. The ceremony turned out EXACTLY how we pictured it! It perfectly capture us, our love and our story and had everyone (but mostly me) in tears. It felt so special and unique and perfectly us. I am so grateful to have had her throughout this process, I was nervous about finding the right officiant but I couldn't have picked better. Rev. She CAPTURED us. It was amazing. My husband and I were immediately so comfortable with her, and every single second of our ceremony was beautiful and perfect - she made us laugh a bit, cry a bit, and smile a lot. She was responsive, helpful, and so full of joy and light that it felt great just to be around her. After the ceremony, almost all of our guests complimented us on how great she was and how lovely the ceremony was. I was really nervous about having an officiant who didn't actually know my husband or I before the wedding and being married by a stranger - hiring Jamie Lynn from Elope RVA felt NOTHING like that. It was like having a warm and loving friend who knew us well translate our love to the world as she married us. It was beautiful and perfect.

were just perfect. My husband and I are both born and raised in India and as such had no idea how to go about planning a wedding here in Richmond, Virginia. And we were absolutely the luckiest to have found ElopeRVA very early on in that process. Chantal at ElopeRVA was so patient and took time to understand our exact vision for the day, explained to us all the nuances right from how to go about applying for a marriage license, to looking up the address for the courthouse, researching the possible locations for the ceremony, sending over ideas for the floral arrangement, coordinating with our photographer, and on the day of, delivering the most gorgeous looking bouquet, boutonniere and the floral arrangement for the arch. Chantal also officiated the ceremony for us and it was the most beautiful thing! The part of the day that would always remain with us and make our hearts warm, however, was when she helped me get ready for the Indian ceremony that we also had the same day - she had researched and learnt how to help one drape a Saree, and helped me greatly putting on my entire outfit. Lastly she had the perfect words that she spoke before our garland exchange. Overall, we are incredibly grateful that we chose to work with ElopeRVA.

She laid out all of our options and assured us that we would still be able to pull off a beautiful ceremony in such a quick timeframe. She helped us with EVERYTHING: venue selection, flowers, cake, selecting our photographer, setting up on the day of, AND was our officiant. Throughout the whole process, she was so quick to reply to us and our many questions! She was not only patient and knowledgeable, but also was fun to work with - throughout all of our stress, she still managed to make the process of planning our wedding/elopement fun and exciting. Another thing we really appreciated was that she was completely transparent about cost with us upfront - and was so respectful in giving us time to review our budget before making any financial decisions about what to include or not include in our day. Chantal worked with the site coordinators for us to work out logistics, and even went in person to scope everything out before the event day. This made everything so easy and stress-free for us. Our flowers and my bouquet were absolutely stunning, and EXACTLY what I had pictured- she even created a beautiful floral arrangement that was custom for the gazebo we got married in! The day of the event, Chantal arrived early to set everything up for us and work with the site coordinators/photographer/violinist...which made the day so easy for me! Our ceremony was amazing and Chantal spent time asking questions about what we wanted and learning more about us throughout the process so that the ceremony was personal to our relationship. We are so grateful to have found Chantal and we would not have been able to pull our ceremony off without her. She is so incredibly talented, hardworking, and kind- I recommend her to anyone who is considering an elopement or microwedding!
