Elvira is an incredible photographer. Our photos came out better than we could have ever imagined. She made us feel extremely comfortable and really captured the vibe of our wedding. We received endless comments from family and friends.

Wow! Elvira was was super professional and easy going. On our wedding day, we told her we wanted “candid” moments of our guests and she did not disappoint! The teasers came really quickly after the wedding. Based on those, we knew the final product will be amazing and we were right! If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, Elvira will not disappoint!

Elvira is an incredible wedding photographer that has a gift for creating effortlessly beautiful images of both candid and posed moments. That's the TL;DR. But what really makes Elvira special is the way she captures the "feelings" of your wedding. That might be pretentious to say, but I think it's true nonetheless. Of course, she'll do a fabulous job with the "family pleaser" photos. She obviously knows lighting, composition, framing, and so on. She knows how to use her camera like a whiz. But what really makes her special isn't JUST the tangible qualities in her photos but in the intangible ones. There's something transportive about her photos that's hard to really describe until you look back at your wedding photos for yourself and relive the best moments, laughing or smiling along at every press of the arrow key. So what do I mean when I say Elvira captures "feelings"? If I could've, I would've attached one of my favorite photos from our wedding to show you what I mean. It's my wife and I lost in the sea of our guests, swaying back and forth to a slow jam. But it's not just a picture of us two dancing. The way we're so effortlessly framed among our guests communicates the feeling of the world melting away as we focus on the one thing that makes us happy in life. That's what makes a good photographer a good photographer if you ask me.

Top notch wedding photographer! From initial outreach and planning all the way through to the final shots, Elvira and her team are simply the best. She takes the time to carefully listen to your wedding day request and needs and provides all the necessary timelines and advice to get you the best shots you are after. She is very creative in her approach and has a unique eye for how to capture the best image, with all her images giving off a very editorial vibe. We booked Elvira based on the work she did for my brother-in-law’s wedding a few years ago. We knew we wanted her for our day after seeing the great work she did for theirs when it was pouring the entire day. She was WONDERFUL and truly an artist. She’s very attentive, making sure she gets all the shots that you want, and captures the special moments you would want. She’s also just such a nice person. She made me feel so comfortable at our engagement shoot (driving in the rain from Brooklyn!) when I felt super awkward in front of the camera. I felt comfortable all over again on our wedding day and she was just so pleasant to be around, laughing at our silliness the entire time. Her second shooter, Clarence, was the same, and so nice and funny. Elvira checked in with me constantly and even made sure to get our cake cutting and some family photos in right before their time was up at the reception. We got married on a Friday and got 91 sneak peaks that Monday, and we loved every single one of them, not even exaggerating. So we cannot wait to get our full album. We will definitely use any excuse in the future to have us photograph for us again!

My husband and I eloped in NYC in November and hired Elvira as our photographer. We wanted a very intimate ceremony with only two witnesses, and wanted our photos to be genuine and candid moments from the day. Elvira did just that! We could not be happier with the photos form our special day and our decision to hire a photographer, specifically Elvira. She truly captured all of the emotions throughout the ceremony and was so much fun to work with!

Elvira was a phenomenal partner for our wedding. We conducted a lot of photography interviews, looking for someone who felt like a good fit for our style, both in terms of photography and presence among friends and family on our wedding day, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. She was calm, professional, confident, and easy to work with during planning, which gave us confidence in her. On the day of the wedding, she was unobtrusive when appropriate and at other times gave us excellent direction with a light hearted touch, making us and our bridal party laugh (which led to some wonderful photos). We were delighted to see previews of our photos just a few days after the wedding, and we got the whole gallery back (nearly 800 photos!) about 10 weeks after, which felt totally appropriate and timely. (The video we purchased is on its way in the next few weeks, so I can't speak to how it turned out yet.) Her online platform is easy to use and we have full download capabilities as well as the ability to order prints directly through her site. Overall, Elvira helped capture the magic of our day and we are grateful.

We loved working with Elvira for our wedding day photography in September 2021. Our wedding was affected by COVID-19 and we ended up shifting our date. She was extremely accommodating and worked with us to update the contract to our new date without hassle. We met Elvira back in 2019 to discuss our plans and see if we were a good fit. An engagement session is included in her wedding package, so we got to spend the day shooting with Elvira in Prospect Park to get to know more about her and her style. We immediately felt at ease because she just let us do our thing - no pressure to do cheesy poses or look a certain way. Her photo editing style is super natural, clean, and timeless (the opposite of a Pinterest trend filter that will be out of style next year). That comfort, ease, and professionalism was carried into the wedding day as well. Elvira and her second shooter, Yunika, scouted several amazing locations in downtown NYC close to the venue for the first look, wedding party photos, and portraits. It showcased what we love about New York and the vibrancy of the city streets. But ultimately, her main talent is letting her subjects shine in every shot. She really captured our essence as a couple and the joyful feeling of the day. She has an artistic vision that is so unique and special. Overall, we’re extremely impressed with the quality of the photos and we’re so thrilled that we get to relive our day whenever we look at them. Elvira's photography and videography are extraordinary! Her (and her team's) artistry, perspectives, and insights (on elements like the setting and lighting) are phenomenal. If you want your wedding photos to stand out from the run-of-the-mill shots that everyone else has, you've got to work with Elvira. Furthermore, her and her team's level of professionalism is amazing. She helped us so much with scheduling and sequencing (photo ops) and was incredibly patient for our random changes in timing (which we are so grateful for). Elvira shot my backyard wedding this past September. Due to Covid we had to make many revisions, including date, time, and location. Elvira worked with us and was so accommodating. She even brought an additional photographer Yunika, who was extremely talented as well. Hiring Elvira was one of the best wedding choices I made. I had decided not to go with a video for my wedding day, and I have no regrets, as her documentary style photos were as if I was watching a video. I love her candid shots as much as our portraits. Elvira is the best choice you can make as you plan your wedding! Me and my fiancé had to postpone our wedding because of Covid and were looking for someone to shoot our elopement we planned on our original date as we wait to have our wedding in 2021. Already down about having to postpone our wedding we were unsure of what to do in terms of an elopement. Elvira made us feel better from the second we spoke to her. Not only was she super accommodating to us, she also sent us great vendor recommendations of people she had worked with that we ended up using that day that were all amazing as well. I immediately knew I wanted Elvira as our photographer because after scrolling through many others’ galleries, her portfolio actually moved me to tears!!! Elvira was the perfect choice for 1) our intimate NYC wedding (50 guests) and 2) my boudoir session. On both occasions, she was super responsive to any questions/requests we had, professional, good-humored, and all around amazing to work with. For our wedding, I can’t even describe how happy we are with the photos. Her documentary style captured many little moments in an artistic way. Our favorite memory of our wedding day was with Elvira, when we visited various spots in the city and got truly unique and unforgettable portraits. For the boudoir shoot (April 2019), she helped me feel prepared and know what to expect. Although it could have been awkward, she immediately put me at ease and I had so much fun! The H&M artist and location she chose were both perfect, and I was blown away by how beautiful the photos turned out. It was difficult for me to narrow down the final set, but in the end she delivered a gorgeous leather-bound photo book. I couldn’t be happier!

Our wedding photographer was one of the most important vendors to us, and we knew from the second we saw the natural look of the photos on her website that Elvira would be a great fit for us. It sealed the deal when she met up with us for coffee and her personality and curiosity about our relationship totally blew us away! As someone who doesn’t really enjoy having my picture taken, I knew I needed someone easygoing and who wouldn’t take too many posed photos, and that’s exactly what Elvira does. We learned early on at our engagement shoot that Elvira will do whatever it takes to get the perfect shot, and now that our wedding is over we are totally amazed by our final galleries and excited to start creating our album with her! We had a 2-day Indian/American wedding and Elvira’s photos captured the details of each day so beautifully. Our photos are full of rich colors, natural light, and don’t look posed at all. She also captured plenty of candid shots of our guest’s reactions throughout the weekend. Throughout the entire process Elvira has been communicative and an absolute pleasure to work with. We are so happy that Elvira was our wedding photographer! She was referred to me by several friends who have worked with her for their own weddings. I knew that we made the right choice from Day 1, when I met Elvira for the first time. We had our first chat over coffee, where we got to know each other and discussed things like how I met my husband, what our wedding was going to be like, and the style of photos that we were interested in. The whole process from our first meeting through receiving our edited photos was so smooth and stress-free. We worked with Yunika (Elvira's associate photographer) for our Central Park microwedding and can't recommend them enough. First, Elvira responds promptly to all communication and is very clear about her pricing, contract, etc. -- so greatly appreciated in the very opaque world of NYC vendors! Secondly, on the day of, Yunika showed up early, helped my husband pin his boutonniere on properly, and faced every challenge (including our large nervous dog, lost parents, and walking the entire circumference of the lake) with ease. She was a wonderful presence. Finally, our photos are stunning. I knew their portfolio was beautiful, but they seriously made Central Park look like a movie set, and captured so many sweet moments. Our loved ones who couldn't be there were enraptured, and I know we'll treasure these photos forever.

Elvira and Yunika documented our wedding day, and we absolutely love our photos!! Selecting your wedding photographer is one of the most important decisions in the process, and we were really focused on finding someone who could make us feel comfortable and had a natural / documentary shooting style (not too posey, lots of candids, etc) and could also do well in both harsh and dim lighting. Elvira and Yunika are a great team and were everything we wanted! In addition, our wedding day had an early start time (which meant we had a tight timeline), but everything went seamlessly, with Elvira and Yunika capturing so many amazing moments of our day without us even realizing. Elvira is also super responsive and a great communicator, and we were aligned on our schedule far in advance of our wedding day. We also did an engagement shoot with Elvira and were so pleased with how our photos came out despite the rain (and also had a really fun time during the shoot)--we would highly recommend working with her and her team!

What drew us to Elvira was her editing style, the colors were so rich and it had a photojournalistic look that felt natural, not posed. We worked with her associate photographer Yunika, who was just so professional and collaborative throughout the whole process. Yunika, along with her assistant for our wedding day, Cassidy, was also such a calming presence during the first look and made us feel so comfortable leading up to the ceremony. And you can see that in the formal photos, but also the candids, which allowed us to experience parts of our wedding that we would have missed if they weren't there. Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous photos. Elvira is truly talented and has a wonderful eye. She had the most fun ideas on how to utilize our wedding space and props (paper fans). My wife and I LOVE our photos and our family/friends were blown away by the photos. Elvira is so awesome and we were extremely lucky to win a free engagement photoshoot with her as well. We are so glad we chose Elvira as our photographer for our elopement! She responded to our enquiries super quickly, is super friendly and has a really calming manner (which made me feel a whole lot better with my nerves on the day!) and had ah-mazing ideas for photos around our elopement location in Central Park. I had a fantastic experience with Elvira and her assistant Yunika. Elvira answered all my emails promptly when I contacted her. Yunika, Elvira's assistant, took photos of our NY City Hall wedding earlier this month. Neither of us like getting our photos taken, but Yunika is so warm and lovely that she made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. Elvira edited the photos herself and they were ready in a fortnight. She sent us a sneak peek of a few shots in the meantime. The photos are absolutely beautiful. They are exactly what I wanted: natural, photo-journalistic, documentary style photos, but she also took some beautiful portraits of my husband and I and with my best friends and parents. The mix of color and black and white photos were perfect. For our two hour session we received about 120 photos. Having no experience with professional photography I have no idea if this is typical or not but they perfectly capture our time at the City Hall. We had time for a few shots outside as well. I plan on having many of these photos printed. I highly recommend her services. Thank you Yunika and Elvira!

So amazing, honestly- I can’t imagine anybody else capturing the day like Elvira did. The posed pictures came out great, and the candids were just unbelievable. She went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect, despite the nor’easter, flooding, high winds and rains. Seriously recommend!

My wedding day had a few minor bums but through it all Elvira was reassuring and kept me calm. My husband and I felt so at ease with her that it showed in all our pictures. I was recently married in June 2018 in the Catskills. My husband and I are completely blown away by Elivra's work. The photographs are absolutely stunning. She is creative and captures moments in their truest form. Elvira is awesome. Her photos are STUNNING. I'm not sure what kind of secret, elven, pixie dust magic is hidden inside her camera, but every photo she gets is pure gold. From start to finish it was an incredibly easy process. She is responsive, gets back to you in a timely manner, accommodating, and efficient. She seems to really love what she does, which made us enjoy the process so much more. Personality-wise, she is calm, cool, and collected, and remains laid back and easy going, even on the big day, which was a welcomed contrast to most of the craziness going on around us. We absolutely love our photos, and everyone we show them to comments on how great our photographer was. We couldn't agree more. Out of all the vendors we worked with, Elvira was by far the best.

Elvira photographed my City Hall wedding and she was fantastic. She met us at City Hall, took pictures there and then all around downtown Manhattan after the ceremony. We ended at a restaurant where she took pictures of us with our friends for about an hour. She was very easy to work with and had great picture idea. She also works really quickly without compromising quality. The photos came out beautifully. We couldn't have asked for anything more - she captured the day perfectly.

She has been very professional in understanding what kind of results we were aiming at and during the wedding day, she knew exactly what to do and we didn't have to think about that aspect. For us, the wedding photographs were the most important item from our wedding to do list and Elvira went above our expectations. Elvira was beyond anything we had hoped for in a photographer to capture our special day. Heading over to New Yew York to elope with my (now) husband... Elvira not only captured us but the beautiful city that surrounded. The love & energy was evident in each and every image. Being someone who hates having her photo taken and struggles to maintain a 'semi normal' expression when knowing there is a camera around - Elvira was amazing and made me feel so relaxed and at ease - it was the 'unsuspecting' moments that we treasure most. We could not recommend Elvira highly enough... she is fabulous!

Elvira was so professional and even helped us work out our timeline on our first meeting. While we were getting ready she floated around effortlessly and documented what was going on- that was invaluable to us to see such authentic moments throughout our day. Our portraits came out beautifully and Elvira was great at giving us direction and using props around us to make the best photos. We are so thrilled that we have photos that reflect who we are and how we felt on our wedding day. We will cherish these photos for the rest of our lives and Elvira made it all happen.

Elvira was beyond fantastic! Coming from Australia and not being super familiar with the New York area, Elvira was so helpful in suggesting locations for photographs whilst giving us much needed direction! Although we had a few unexpected delays, Elvira remained calm and was the ultimate professional throughout the day. When we received our edited photographs, we couldn't be happier! There were so many amazing shots which depicted how wonderful the day was. Elvira was absolutely spectacular - my husband and I couldn't recommend her highly enough!
