Ely photographed our wedding and we are very grateful for his service. He was helpful, friendly, professional, and accommodating from the beginning, meeting with us to discuss the event and offer recommendations. We appreciate his flexibility and willingness to work beyond the agreed upon time, in order to capture the entire wedding. He took the time to remember everyone’s name, which helped in directing the photo shoots, which were done calmly and courteously. Hands down, the best photographer on the West Coast! Ely was very professional and easy to work with. We were looking for a photographer that could capture our wedding day beautifully and he exceeded our expectations. He really knows what he is doing and if he says to hold a certain pose or "to get cozy," trust him, they are going to be stunning photos. He is really trying to capture the best photo that works not only for you, but an image that represents his style and brand. Depending on the time of your ceremony and reception, there will be times he will take you to beautiful areas of your venue, to get the best shots due to lighting. Ely is absolutely amazing at what he does! We hired Ely to take our wedding photos in Sunriver and I was so happy with the experience and the results. We did a river float a couple of days before the wedding and he let us split our package so we could have him there for a few hours to take pictures on the day of the float when we stopped for lunch as well as at the wedding. He even jumped in one of our kayaks and got some photos of us all on the river. He was pleasure to work with and I am extremely please with the photos. I would definitely recommend Ely!

Ely is an incredibly talented photographer and choosing him to photograph our wedding was easily one of the best choices we made for that day. The images he produced were amazing and we will cherish them forever. He is extremely easy going and his calm demeanor made such a stressful day easier. He is pretty much game for anything. He hiked a mountain with us at 4 am for goodness sake. He even helped us get our car unstuck while we were driving to that trailhead. He is extremely punctual and with quick turn around. He even shared a few pictures with us that same day so we could show our families. They also all loved him! :) If I could do it all again I wouldn't change a thing, and especially not my photographer selection.

Ely was absolutely wonderful. he captured our day so true, myself and my family are highly disorganized people and Ely managed to get all the precious moments. The depth of his photos and his patience blew me away! The Polaroids he would take gave us that instant gratification we needed and are such a wonderful keepsake. I know couples who have been married for a year and are still waiting to get their photos back, Ely had our album uploaded and ready for us to view within a week! Where to begin? Ely Roberts is an absolutely phenomenal photographer. This review is for a 2 hour engagement session near Mt Bachelor and a full wedding session at Hood River/Mt Hood. My wife and I found Ely a couple years ago and immediately knew we would ask him to shoot our engagement pictures. We chose him based on the tone and layout of his pictures. And I don't know how else to describe it, but his photos portrayed a level of character that we didn't see in others. We were blown away with our engagement pics and immediately asked him to shoot our wedding the next year. Leading up to the wedding, Ely was attentive to our requests and ensured details were taken care of. On the day of the wedding, we could not have asked for a better guy to be with us throughout the day. I also cannot tell you how many unsolicited comments we received from family and friends about Ely. How many weddings have you been to where you're complimenting the bride or groom on their photographer? Think about it. Side note - Ely has an awesome side business, the "Bend Beerstream". He completely renovated an old Air Stream and converted it to a mobile bar (think food truck, but for alcohol). Check it out on his website! We really wanted to incorporate it with our wedding, but it did not work with our vendors. Because he was driving the Beerstream to a wedding near ours on the same weekend, Ely even volunteered to set it up at our rehearsal dinner the night before and man the bar - free of charge! Who does that?! I'm telling you, he just wants to ensure his clients and friends are taken care of. (And no, Ely is not paying me to advertise.) So stop your search for a photographer right now. Ely Roberts is your guy. We knew we were booking a top photographer, but we did not expect to meet such a warm and amazing personality behind the camera. He made the process of taking pictures effortless and enjoyable, and went above and beyond our expectations to get everything "right". Ely, thanks for your hard work. Ely was absolutely amazing. His eye for photography caught our attention right away & was the first vendor we booked. We honestly would have worked around his schedule haha. He went above and beyond, from our first meeting to the day of our wedding. We'd planned for a snowy, winter ceremony in February, but ended up with gorgeous sun & no snow! Ely was kind enough to drive us up into the mountains to get our snowy, forest photos - which are just gorgeous! From a snowy field, a forest of trees, or Mt. Bachelor in the background, we have so many different settings - I just love it! We were comfortable right away with him - which isn't easy if you don't love being photographed! He was able to give us enough space to almost forget he was there and allow for the real moments to be captured. Just ordered our wedding album & can't wait to see the photos printed :)

Ely was so great to work with! He was prompt about suggestions and super quick to get our shoot done and photos tknus ASAP. My friend hired him for my fiancé and I to shoot our engagement photos and I really can't imagine it going any better. We told him what we wanted out of the pictures and he definitely delivered.

Stunning photos! Our wedding weekend was one of the rainiest on record for October in Bend, Oregon. We had resigned ourselves to indoor photos only - but Ely pulled us outside during a break in the downpour and captured the loveliest fall colors. Couldn't have been happier with how they turned out! Ely also managed to capture all of the important details and silly moments during the wedding. An absolute pro - easy to work with, quietly confident, an incredible artist and a hard worker! Turned our photos around crazy fast. We highly recommend Ely!

The reviews on here can't say enough about Eli. He was absolutely amazing! I contacted him to take proposal and engagement photos after finding him online. I could tell he had done this before as he knew exactly how to play the part of a stranger being asked to take a photo of the couple only to have the proposal happen right there! He was so helpful, easy-going, and his photos are absolutely beautiful. My new finance and I cant get enough of our engagement photos and I would easily recommend him to anyone!

Ely and Abby are amazing photographers and we are so lucky that they were available to photograph our wedding day! The pictures are absolutely beautiful and I never expected that we would get so many amazing shots of the two of us and with our families and friends. Ely took the time to find special places to photograph us outdoors at our venue that I never would have thought of and the result was just beautiful. Also, we are both relatively shy people and Ely was superb at giving us directions and getting shots where we look natural, comfortable and very happy. Another thing worth mentioning is that Ely was extremely courteous and patient with some of our guests who wanted to take their own pictures (at times even during the formal pictures with family), and we really appreciated that as we know that can make a photographer's job a bit harder. Ely was always available throughout the evening to get the shots we wanted with our guests, without being intrusive. Ely is absolutely amazing at what he does. We started looking for a photographer a year before our wedding. When we came across Ely's website we were immediately impressed. We contacted him and he was extremely flexible and easy going. His pricing was also very reasonable. Compared to other photographers that we looked at he was by far the best in terms of quality and price. The day of our wedding was wonderful and much of the credit goes to Ely. He was helpful, calm and friendly. We were amazed by his ability to capture photos of our families and large bridal party in a very timely manner. He is also very skilled at capturing beautiful candid photos of all of the guests. Ely sent us all of our edited photos before we were even home from our honeymoon!!! Ely is definitely a 10/10. His work is TRULY phenomenal.

Ely was such a pleasure to work with. I actually had a two year engagement and came across Ely's work very early on in the planning process. It was too early to commit to a photographer given the tight budget, but I always found myself coming back to his website as I searched for the best deal. Honestly, he was THE BESTTTTT deal! His photos are breathtaking and so unique, his price is extremely reasonable, and he traveled to Livermore, California all the way from Oregon for no additional charge. He was so easy going and fun to work with. My husband and I had a blast and would recommend him to anyone.

Ely was so amazing! He did our engagement shoot at Smith Rock and our wedding at Black Butte Ranch. I couldn't have asked for more beautiful photos. And he was great to work with. We first met Ely through a videographer in San Luis Obispo in 2008. We had a few engagement photo shoots that came out fantastic and hired him as our wedding photographer. We are extremely satisfied and happy with his fantastic photography and editing skills. We just became pregnant and have not had professional photos taken since the wedding! We called Ely last February and he made the time to meet us that worked with our schedule. He took us to beautiful places in SLO County at the perfect hour . He is very kind and generous with his time. We never felt rushed or uncomfortable before, during or after the shoot. The photos that he gave us were very beautiful; we are still in disbelief how he makes us and the surroundings look so fantastic. Ely Roberts is a fantastic photographer and editor. His modern and artistic eye is astounding. We will continue to use Ely for our of our photography needs; and I recommend him for anyone seeking photography.

Where to start??? On a scale of one to ten, this dude is an eleven. Ely's attention to detail in his photos and customer service is second to none. He takes the time to genuinely get to know his clients and then delivers images that will rock your face off. I can't say enough about the work ethic and talent running through this guy. If you're reading this, just hire him already. You won't regret it!

Have had Eli take my wedding photos/video, as well as some family photos for us. Both times were gloomy, rainy or foggy days but somehow Eli knows how to thrive in any weather conditions. All of the photos turned out great both times. The photos on these grey days still seemed to be vibrant with colors enough so that we have multiple of his photos hanging around our house. He also made us a super sturdy photo book of our wedding that i'm sure will stand the test of time. Would definitely recommend Eli to anyone. Just check out his website, so many cool photos.

He did an amazing job!! Not only does he take amazing pictures but he also made us feel so comfortable! He goes above and beyond to capture the perfect shot! I loved that we had a preview of our shoot within 2 days of taking the pictures! We had all of the pictures within 4 days! Definitely recommend using Ely Roberts!

Ely was easily at 10/10. My future brother in law and I hired him to shoot the proposal, and we couldn't have been happier with how perfectly he captured the moment. He played the part of a stranger as Greg asked him to take an iPhone photo of them and then started snapping away with his professional gear as Greg got down on one knee to propose. All of our friends keep telling us how great the photos are, and we couldn't agree more.
