I had the BEST experience at Elyse Jewelers! It is the only jewelry store I will use moving forward.
After visiting numerous high end jewelry stores in the area, I was frustrated...
and underwhelmed by their sapphire selections. More often than not, these high end jewelry stores treated me as though I was an inconvenience for requesting that they find me additional sapphires to view for my engagement ring.
From the moment I walked into Elyse Jewelers, I was treated like royalty! Richard and Isobel were so professional, personable, and compassionate. I told them what I was looking for in a sapphire and ideas about a setting.
Within hours Richard had half a dozen sapphires for me to view that knocked my socks off! I was beyond impressed! We spent some time going over sapphires and potential setting ideas. Never once did I feel rushed or pressured. I found the perfect sapphire, in a setting more beautiful than I ever imagined. All the while staying within my price range.
The passion and craftsmanship for all his jewelry is reflected in the superb quality of all his pieces. I am so grateful that I found Elyse Jewelers! They made what I expected to be a stressful and nerve wracking experience with lots of negotiating and settling... into a pressure free, seamless, and enjoyable experience.
I left there feeling confident and over the moon excited about my purchase. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional jewelry and exceptional customer service.
My (now) husband had my engagement ring custom made by Richard from a family heirloom diamond and the result was absolutely beautiful. The quality was so nice that we ordered both...
of our wedding rings from them as well. Richard gave advice on styles that would look best with my engagement ring and they look beautiful together! Very happy doing business with Elyse Jewelers.
We chose Elyse jewelers for my husband's wedding band. We enjoyed our experience of shopping with Richard, however when I went to pick up the ring it was another story. Upon receiv...
ing the ring, I noticed it was not the one I ordered, as it had a completely different finish. I mentioned this to Richard, who completely gaslighted me and told me that was what I ordered and the weird hammered finish would "fade over time" into the brushed metal I had actually ordered. I insisted it wasn't the ring, but was getting nowhere with him and left and called my husband. Once my husband got involved, Richard took the claim seriously and eventually admitted he had the rings mixed up in the display case so the style number was correct, however it was not the ring we had tried on. He offered to correct the mistake at no charge (which is the obvious solution) but said nothing to me when I went to pick up the correct ring.
I am willing to accept that mistakes happen, but the blatant disrespect I received from Richard was completely unprofessional. As if the customer service isn't enough reason to stay away, my husband has worn his ring for just 9 days, and the finish is already scratching off. Spend your money elsewhere.
A huge thanks to Richard for helping my now husband pick out my Engagement ring and designing something that is just perfect for me! We were so thrilled we came back to purchase ou...
r wedding bands as well. The process was seamless and the quality and attention to detail is just incredible. If you want a private, personal jeweler to create a special piece than look no further than Elyse!
My husband worked with Richard to create my custom engagement ring for our engagement in August of 2015. I was so surprised by and thrilled with the ring! He worked with my husband...
to create it based on a few inspiration pictures. Richard took those images and interpreted them to craft something more beautiful than I could have imagined! My engagement ring features a gorgeous cushion cut diamond flanked by a pair of pear shaped diamonds and a handful of channel-set diamonds on the band. Richard took the time to educate my husband on the process of custom-making the ring, choosing the best diamonds, and coordinating all of the stones for an overall complementary look.
We were so happy with the way the engagement ring turned out, we came to Richard again to create a custom wedding band with channel-set diamonds to complement my engagement ring. He created a custom band that matched my engagement ring so well that the channel-set diamonds line up PERFECTLY when worn together. I am very impressed with his craftsmanship and great skill with jewelry.
We also purchased my husband's wedding band there as well from available stock. Richard carries a great selection of men's bands which is unlike a lot of big box jewelry stores. He worked with my husband to try a variety of different metals and styles until he found one he really loved.
Overall, we are very pleased with Richard and will return to Elyse Fine Jewelers for all of our future jewelry purchases.
We used them for both the engagement ring and the wedding bands. The owners are so warm and friendly, giving really good and helpful service. We are from Boston, and it was definit...
