The Embassy Suites Akron Canton is a hotel with a modern ballroom in the Canton, OH area. This hotel is located four minutes from the Akron Canton Airport and 55 minutes from the Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Our all-inclusive wedding packages start at $50 per person and provide you with a variety of food and beverage options including hors d'oeuvres, champagne toast, buffet or plated dinner, cake cutting, and a 4-hour open bar. Couples have their choice of complimentary floor-length linens and napkins in ivory or black, as well as house centerpieces. The full-service staff will meet your guests' needs while you dance the night away on the complimentary dance floor. Facilities and Capacity: Up to 275 guests can participate in the couple’s big day at the Embassy Suites Akron Canton. The ballroom can be used as one large space or broken down into three smaller rooms. Its bronze-colored walls and decor add elegance and luxury to the space and complement with ivory or black floor length linens available through the hotel. A dance floor in the center of the room invites guests to join in on the fun. A pre-function area for a cocktail reception awaits outside the ballroom, and the smaller meeting and board rooms serve as ceremony, rehearsal dinner, bridal shower or engagement party spaces. From the very beginning, everything went perfectly! From check in to check out, we were treated nicely by each person we interacted with, and everyone went out of their way to help us. Andrena was so easy to work with while we planned our event. The tasting and food at the event were marvelous, we cannot thank the chef enough for being so accommodating and making such wonderful meals! We are still getting compliments on how tasty each dish was! The staff (Jafar) set up the room perfectly, and they did everything for us, even placing decor on the tables. When we entered the room, it looked incredible! Clean up was a breeze as they had all our personal decor set aside for us after the event. It made it so easy to focus on our day and truly enjoy each moment! Servers during the event were professional and sweet (Amanda? We forgot her name, but she was so helpful!!!) I'm sure we forgot many names, but we are so thankful that we chose the Akron-Canton Embassy Suites for our wedding reception! Everything was truly easy and beautifully handled, we cannot say enough positive things about our stay and event!

Planning a wedding from a different state can be so stressful. The embassy made it so easy. They help with everything. And are always available to answer your questions. The food is amazing. And you don’t have to spend additional money on renting chairs/linens. And a huge win at the end of the night your room is already there- making your wedding a true weekend event for all.

We had both our ceremony and reception at the Embassy and we could not be happier with the service we received. Initially, our event was going to take place at a different hotel. However, they were sold and cancelled all upcoming events, including ours. Of course, we were panicked, but we went back to the drawing board and remembered how much we liked the Embassy. Alexis was so accommodating and worked with us to stay within the budget we originally had with our other venue. We mostly worked with Andrena and she was an absolute dream. She always responded to my various emails, talked me off of plenty ledges as we navigated planning a wedding during COVID-19, and never made me feel like a nuisance. I value how well she communicated mandates, changes that may affect our event, and solutions to any issues these mandates may have caused. The hotel is beautiful, well kept, and has the most amazing staff. Everyone was kind, we never felt like a bother, and they went above and beyond for me and my guests. For the actual ceremony, the space was large enough to accommodate my group, while still practicing social distancing standards. The food was so dang on good that my guests made sure to mention it to me on SEVERAL occasions, during and after the event. At one point, a few guests got a little rowdy and Djafar handled the situation with grace, never making it an issue for me or my husband. I truly appreciate how special our day was and none of this would have been possible without the amazing team here at the Embassy Suites. Book them, you won’t regret it!

We had our wedding reception at Embassy Suites. The planning process was stressful because the catering manager Jill was very disorganized and failed to respond to emails in a timely manner. One week before our wedding she informed me that she wouldn't be facilitating our wedding that weekend because she was no longer working at Embassy Suites. I felt as though that situtation could have been handled a lot differently by Embassy Suites. That being said our wedding reception turned out to be perfectly fine. Djafar listened to all of my concerns, planning and decor recommendations and the Ballroom looked just as I had pictured. This venue was very affordable and all-inclusive. The food and service was very good! Our families were both from out of town so we loved that everyone was able to stay on our wedding weekend.
