Jana answered all my emails promptly and was very flexible with my now-husband and my often conflicting schedules. I made most of my own decorations and they placed them exactly the way I wanted, giving me more time to spend on other last minute plans. It was so convenient having the reception in the hotel where the guests were staying. I am very glad I chose the Embassy Suites for my wedding reception.

g block any time we asked. She was extremely helpful throughout our whole wedding process with all of the questions we asked, and we even ended up using her suggestion for our rehearsal dinner. The hotel itself is fantastic with recently renovated, HUGE rooms (especially the bridal suite!) with a happy hour and breakfast included as well. The bridal suite was massive and our whole bridal party was able to have hair and makeup done there the morning of our wedding. Our guests loved the hotel, and the kids enjoyed going to the pool. If your wedding is around the Dublin area, look no further!

In addition, I happened to meet a bride who had her wedding there the weekend after ours and said it was absolutely perfect so it seems they did take the steps internally to correct it as stated. I would give them another chance to host our event.
Original Review:
The planning process with Embassy Suites was great - and Nicole Duncan was very patient with us as we asked her several questions quite a few times. She was great to work with. We also met a few times to go over everything and it was done in great detail so I was confident that all would go perfectly.
However, on our wedding day, that was not the case. Overall the wedding was amazing so nothing broke the party but there are a few things that should be noted. First, the chair sashes were completely the wrong color and unfortunately they will be photographed as such. We asked for metallic gold not maize gold but we were given maize gold. The sashes came in on Wednesday, and had they been checked then, the error could have been corrected.
Second, the wedding party was promised that the hors d'oeuvres would be placed in the hospitality room for my bridal party - they weren't.
Third, we asked several time for coffee to be made available all evening long. It did not come out until 9:30.
Finally, and most importantly, the food was not delivered like it had been in the tasting. My shrimp pasta was lacking the sauce, my sister's vegetables were undercooked, and the rolls were dry and some had mold on them.
When we addressed our concerns with Embassy we were offered a sub par credit and I do not feel they took our concerns seriously. I tried to address them again and was ignored.

oms) and hosted a breakfast with them the morning after our wedding. We had a great experience with them and would highly recommend them. We heard only great things from our guests as well. From giving all of our guests gift bags upon arrival, to catering the prep rooms the day of the wedding, to providing us with an excellent breakfast, everything went well. The staff was friendly and helpful and made sure we had no issues.

e. My mom and I stayed in a room for a night. My now husband was in a room for a night before our wedding. Then the day of our wedding the upgraded us for free to the executive suite. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was great. I do wish that they would extend the evening cocktail hour. Unfortunetly we didn't get to do this any of the nights. s themselves were great, and our guests really enjoyed the living area of the rooms for visiting with friends and relatives before and after the wedding. However, it was very difficult for us to work with the staff at coordinating our hotel block and managing our shuttle service to and from the reception. Promises were made that were not kept, and the person "in charge" of these responsibilities changed 4 times prior to our event, so our information and requests were lost several times. We had over 40 rooms booked for our event, and we were given zero priority as guests. In fact, the hotel "forgot" to deliver the champagne and strawberries to our room that we ordered several months in advance. When we complained about it, the hotel staff offered to get it to us so we could take it home with us the next day at $15 off the original price....which I think was around $75! Obviously that was not what we had in mind! I would definitely stay at the Embassy Suites. It is a very nice hotel. However, I would not use it as a place to block rooms and hope they will be at all helpful in coordinating your event.

had several meetings before the wedding and I felt like I was in constant communication with Kim in the days leading up to the event. Two days before the wedding we had our final meeting with Kim when we gave her our centerpieces, welcome bags, and other gifts for the guests which she took care of. Even throughout the event, all the the staff were very attentive and helpful and really made the night perfect! I wouldn't change anything about the experience I had with Embassy Suites Dublin!

. It was in a great location and easy for the guest to find. Kim was super helpful in planning our Rehearsal and we had an awesome time with family and friends! The breakfast the next morning was a great time to reminisce with guest and we loved the made to order omelets!

Our experience with Embassy Suites in Dublin was beyond unbelievable. The hotel was recommended by our venue (La Scala) and we selected them from 8 hotels within a 2 mi. radius bec...
ause the hotel is beautiful and offered a free shuttle for our guests. The price was significantly higher than others in the area, but considered it to be worth while for the convenience of a shuttle. Here are just a few of the problems we encountered:
- Guests were made to wait until 2 hours past the check-in time because their rooms were unavailable.
- Children and teenagers in town for several sport competitions were running wild in the hotel at all hours of the night. We were unable to use the pool or enjoy the complimentary breakfast because of their misbehavior and the hotel's inability or unwillingness to deal with them.
- Our guests were blamed the entire evening for the noise associated with the children and teenagers in the hotel. Several threatening phone calls were made to our guests from the front desk accusing guests of yelling across the hotel and making too much noise, things we witnessed unsupervised children doing all evening.
- Three of our family members were sitting quietly in a common area of the hotel around 11 p.m. because their children were sleeping in their hotel room and they wanted to visit with family. They were threatened with the Dublin police if they didn't immediately go to their rooms. They had not been drinking, were not being loud and were not told of other common areas where they could meet, even though we found out later there were several places they could have moved to.
- When my mother in law called to express her frustration and embarrassment, the supervisor who took her phone call accused us of being a "problem group" with an excessive amount of complaints. He basically told my Mother in Law that we didn't belong in Dublin, which is a "sleepy town"
Our guests came from a joyful wedding. Those staying at the hotel were from out of town and wanted to continue visiting with family they rarely see. The hotel staff made us feel unwelcome. We were not a wild, drunken party. Guests staying with us at the hotel were all either over 23 years old or under 5 years old.
We were so embarrassed that the hotel WE recommended and promoted to our guests treated every one of them so horribly. We will never be staying at an Embassy Suites again and I would recommend using another hotel in the Dublin area if possible!
