e. If you are long distance, email is easier than phone, as their phones sometimes go wonky and it can be hard to get in touch. Otherwise, Emily and the whole Embassy team made our evening go smoothly -- we could not have asked for a more beautiful reception! We are still getting compliments and will definitely be back just to stay!

supposed to be butler styled. non of that happened. The Bride and Groom (our meals) were incorrect when we have place cards that stated what we were to have and we got the opposite, but it was fixed so we were fine. When it came to the cake, one half of the room got white cake, the other half got red velvet and we had plenty of cake to go around and came home with nothing. So I'm worried that out left over cake got tossed... ther was 2 cakes that could feed total 120 people at minimum and we had exactly 82 people who came to the reception. With what was missing and the hiccups we had OVERALL it was still a gorgeous reception plus non of our guests knew what all went wrong and we all had a great time. All of our guests had a wonderful time and so did we!

food was amazing. We had mostly steak and chicken served. We only heard good things from our guests:) There are a few minor concerns that I experienced throughout the planning that I would share to make you aware of. When we signed our contract late in 2016, we discussed that we would like to have chair covers and that was part of the package we selected but when 2017 came around, we were told the package was changed and they were no longer offered. There was a clause in the agreement that covered them. We also experienced changing contacts about 3 times since we signed the contract. We had to send some reminders on what we previously discussed. Additionally, the contract does not let you in the room until 2 pm the day of your wedding because the room can be rented that morning. Luckily, no one rented it so we were able to get in early but I could see this being a challenge for you / decorator if you can’t get in early.

as at Sacred Heart, which is right across the river from the Embassy. Cocktail hour started right after the ceremony and everyone loved that they were staying where they were celebrating! Guest rooms - the front desk was amazing! Thank you to Rhonda for making sure everything ran smoothly! They passed out my handmade gift baskets to each person in my hotel block, everyone in my block was on the same floor and some even had connecting rooms! It was so fun for my family and friends! Reception: Amanda from banquets is amazing! She has such an attention for detail and always made sure to check in with me or my parents to see how everything was going. The room was amazing! The tall ceilings made it feel so open! I love that the Embassy wedding coordinator can arrange the room to exactly how you want it! It is a huge blank canvas and you can design it anyway you want! I had a mix of harvest table, rounds, and the dance floor in the middle! Very different than a lot of weddings I have been to! Everyone still raves about how the Embassy had the best food they have ever had! The cheese display at the cocktail hour is wonderful as well as the bruschetta! We had the Parmesan Crusted Chicken and Embassy Sirloin for dinner (tastes more like a filet)! Thank you to Chef Graham and his team! The next morning we were able to mingle with all our guests at the COMPLIMENTARY breakfast! The food was amazing and it was fun to share stories from the night before with everyone that had traveled to come to our wedding! The entire Embassy staff is so friendly, welcoming, and professional! So happy we decided to host our special day at the Embassy!
