Please don't get a room block with either of the hotels here (Embassy or Courtyard Marriott). The contract is ridiculous - they will charge you if you don't fill 80% of the rooms that you block for your guests by one month before your wedding weekend. They also are no longer offering shuttle services. I will say that our contact person there was very communicative - she would send us updates on how full our room block was.. but unfortunately we ended up paying almost $1000 after our wedding because rooms were not filled. Super disappointing and one of the most stressful parts of our wedding.

With my husband's entire family from out of state, we had quite a few guests who used our wedding block. When we started the process, the service was very confusing as it seems they were in the middle of redoing their policies and shifting around management. Because of the confusion, we were offered completely different packages before we booked our block. However, once we let them know the original deal we were offered, they were more than willing to give us the original pricing and agreement. We heard from our guests that they were more than impressed with their stay. They let us drop off our bags and hold them before check in and handed out welcome baskets we made to our guests with no problem. Some of our guests even received free drink coupons from the bar and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. They had a nice gift room that they let us rent the next morning and comped our room for our wedding night with no problem. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

My wedding was perfect. We did the reception and ceremony there. The reception room was more beautiful than I even envisioned. I wasn't very picky on a lot of things and gave them some liberty in making decisions and I'm glad I did. They were wonderful.

We worked with Hailey very closely through the whole process. She was always great at getting back to us ASAP and answering all our questions! Great food as well! We used the Dapper Ballroom because it was separate from the other ballrooms. It was beautiful and great for our size of wedding (225 people). They were very flexible with all our requests and made the even as gorgeous and perfect as we hoped. So glad that we chose this venue! It was so nice for the guests and us to be able to stay there right on site as well!

Great to work with throughout - from setting up room blocks to monitoring guest list to providing welcome bags to guests at arrival. Very happy with the hotel and flexibility it provided.

I had my reception at the Embassy Suites in La Vista and the whole process was great! Vanessa was so easy to work with and was on top of things the whole time. They cater to your every need to make sure your wedding day is perfect. I wouldn't have changed it for the world. Of course it was a little pricey but it was all worth it!

Our wedding reception was held at this Embassy Suites in June 2009. We worked with Megan Gilligan who went above and beyond to make sure our reception went smoothly and that it was done the way we wanted it to be. She took note of all the details we wanted and was willing to work with certain things to make them fit our budget and plans. We liked working with them so much we ended up being referred to the Embassy Suites in Honolulu for our honeymoon!
