Kelly Plath has been an integral part of Embassy Suites Rockford Riverfront since October 2019, joining the team even before the property's completion. Her journey has been nothing short of exciting, witnessing the hotel's growth and establishment within the Rockford community. Kelly takes immense pride in what the hotel offers to visitors and its positive impact on downtown Rockford.
Kelly's passion for hospitality began in 2008 at the Clock Tower Resort, where she discovered her love for hotels and events. Since then, she has dedicated herself to the industry, embracing every opportunity to excel and contribute.
For Kelly, the highlight of her job as Director of Sales is the people she encounters daily. Whether assisting guests with lodging and event arrangements, supporting her team in delivering exceptional customer service, or fostering growth within her department, Kelly thrives on making a positive impact.
Outside of work, Kelly indulges her love for travel. Since her first plane ride at the age of 10, she has explored 16 US states and 5 countries, fueling her curiosity about new places and cultures.
