Embers Restaurant and Speakeasy is a restaurant wedding venue situated in Lockport, Illinois. For over 8 years, this charming eatery has provided private events of all shapes and sizes with an inviting backdrop, mouthwatering meals, and exceptional service. It is perfect for hosting every stage of your once-in-a-lifetime celebration, from your intimate rehearsal dinner to your fun-filled reception and everything in between. Facilities and Capacity Embers Restaurant and Speakeasy is located in the Volz Building, a historic Lockport property that had previously been unoccupied after a fire destroyed its interior. In 2015, through a determined community effort, it was fully renovated and transformed into a family restaurant with a classic 1920’s speakeasy bar aesthetic. It features a number of event spaces to choose from for hosting your special day, depending on your requirements and the size of your guest list. Outdoor ceremonies can take place on the expansive patio, which features dazzling views of downtown Lockport. Receptions can be held in the Embers Banquet hall, an expansive space that occupies the entire second floor of the building. Offering five separate rooms, a full-service bar, and a rooftop patio with stunning views, it can accommodate up to 200 guests in total. Rehearsal dinners of up to 25 attendees can take place in The Board Room, an intimate dining room with a brick-wall interior and soft lighting. Specializing in classic American dishes, they offer an enticing array of appetizers, entrees, and desserts, each prepared to look as good as it tastes. A selection of over 50 craft beers is also available, as well as a full wine list and range of top-shelf spirits.
