The whole process of working with Meghan of EmBOLDened Hair Artistry was so easy, from inquiring and hiring her all the way through to the wedding day. I had decided to do a second hair change, so when we had the hair trial, she was able to show me both styles I was interested in. She was helpful in color matching me for extensions (definitely a great decision I made in wanting to have them for the hair styles I chose), and she was there at certain times of the evening to check in on me and perform some touch ups. Meghan and her team were an absolute dream! Meghan not only did my wedding day but also my rehearsal. It is so amazing how diverse her work is!! The Emboldened hair team is amazingly talented. Taylor is a hair wizard! She somehow turned my flat, lifeless hair into voluminous waves. She was extremely attentive during my trial and understood the assignment perfectly. And not only did she nail 1 look but 2 as she did a second du to go with my outfit change. Before my trial she helped me find extensions to match my hair. I had my trial with Meghan where we tried two different styles and she understood my vision PERFECTLY. She also offered to keep my extensions and prep them before the big day (which I LOVED since it was one less thing for me to worry about)! Meghan was everything I could ask for and more in a hairstylist for my wedding! She was so professional from day one - super responsive, incredibly helpful and so so kind. On my wedding day she arrived early for setup and ran the day flawlessly - we kept to our getting ready timeline to the minute! She built in extra time for touch-ups and even stayed a bit late to help me into my dress after I discovered I needed to put it over my head. Cait is THE hair stylist for curly brides. When i saw myself when she finished, i was so happy that i couldnt stop laughing and crying. I grew up hating my hair bc it wasnt sleek and straight, i saw movie after movie and tv show after tv show of girls with hair like mine being used as a "Before" picture and straight hair used in the "After" (better) photo. Since entering adulthood i have come to love my hair but was it was still treated like a problem by other stylists who didnt know how to manage it. I was determined to marry the love of my life with MY hair. I met Cait at my sisters wedding 1 year ago and she did my hair as MY hair. I knew i had to have her do my hair for my wedding day. She totally delivered. She was kind and fun and so attentive to every curl. I married my husband looking and feeling like the best version of myself, curly hair and all. She is THE curly hair stylist and i cannot recommend her highly enough. My hair held all day long and i felt so beautiful. I'll look back on my wedding photos in the years to come and be so thankful to Cait for the work she did.

Meghan was so amazing! I cannot say enough nice things about her and her work. I had a large bridal party with a wide age range and she was incredibly accommodating. We had a late ceremony but due to the number of people had to start getting ready early and all of our hair stayed perfectly throughout the entire night. Booking Meghan for my wedding hair was the easiest decision I made during my wedding planning process. Meghan was such a pleasure to work with from Day 1. The portal that she uses to organize your contract and conversations was so helpful to refer back to months later, especially if you are an early planner like myself! Not to mention she is extremely sweet, knowledgeable, and makes you feel so comfortable the moment you sit down with her. Being able to make payments in advance was helpful, too, so we weren't having to juggle too much cash on the day of. I did opt to do a trial appointment, which at first I was unsure if I needed, but was so glad I did because I ended up deciding on hair extensions for added volume for the day of my wedding. She was able to recommend the perfect brand, color, and length to purchase as well. On wedding morning, she came early to get set up, and her and her assistant, Taylor, got through all of my bridal party with enough time to touch everyone up at the end. My hair was beyond perfect for the entire day and night without any touch ups (almost 15 hours!) Not a curl fell out of place, and I received compliments all night long. Keep in mind, I LOVE to dance and I always touch and flip my hair around - it still stayed perfectly, and didn't feel like I was touching a block of hairspray either. I can't compliment Meghan enough! Book her for your wedding day, you and your bridesmaids will be glad you did!

Meghan truly is a hair magician. From the moment I checked out her portfolio, I was hooked. She was so kind, so accommodating, and so wonderful to work with from the very beginning. I remember going to my trial with one of my bridesmaids, and Meghan listened carefully as I told her what I was looking. She then got to work, and when she unveiled my hair, I was speechless. Which surprised my bridesmaid, because I'm known to be pretty picky when it comes to my hair. In addition to that, my hair stayed the whole day (through indoor and outdoor pictures, a 7 minute hora, and hours of dancing) on a 90 degree day in July. Meghan was a dream to work with! She took my inspiration and ran with it, she ended up creating a style that surpassed the inspo photo I gave her . I never felt more beautiful! In addition her and her assistant did an incredible job on my large bridal party. They worked off inspiration photos from each of the bridesmaids and family and everyone was so happy, not to mention every single style was so different and unique. I couldn’t recommend her more!!!

Meghan is amazing and I felt the prettiest on my wedding day! I originally booked Meghan in 2019 as I was set to have a 2020 wedding. Because of the pandemic, we postponed our wedding twice and I've been in communication with Meghan for the last 3 years. She has always been very responsive and supportive throughout the wedding planning process. I am so grateful that she was available on my postponed wedding date! I had a trial and was thrilled with the style but Meghan made it look even better on the wedding day! On the day Meghan showed up on time, had everything ready, and we were able to stay on schedule without feeling rushed. Everyone loved their hair style and I would highly recommend Meghan and her team!

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would! I am so happy I went with Meghan for my wedding day hairstylist. She was extremely patient and helpful (not to mention just a pleasure to be around) during my trial and delivered a final product on my wedding day that was even better than expected. She also helped match and select my extensions which really helped perfect my day-of wedding hair. My hair stayed in place beautifully and was held perfectly with my veil and headpiece, even despite a *very* heavy cathedral length veil and 20mph wind gusts! She was amazing and her team made my ladies look incredible. I truly can’t say enough!

Meghan was one of the best parts of my wedding day! I loved my experience with her and her team, as did my entire bridal party. She was professional, prompt, warm, funny, and a total blast to hang with. If you want gorgeous hair that will last all day and night long on one of the best days of your life, HIRE MEGHAN! I especially appreciated how detailed and caring Meghan was when I had an allergic reaction on my neck to a hair care product (none of hers) right before my trial. She took notes of what she was using and made sure to follow up with the additional products she would be using on the day of the wedding. After my trial, I had some small changes I wanted to see and she was able to execute them PERFECTLY on my wedding day. I loved working with Meghan and will be recommending her to my friends who are soon to be brides!

Meghan was amazing from start to finish! She communicated well, has fair pricing, and creates beautiful hair styles. Literally any style you could think of on any type of hair, Meghan can do. She and her assistant work quickly so we were actually ready for pictures earlier than anticipated, which helped immensely with my day-of stress levels. Overall 10/10 would recommend!!

Meghan did an AMAZING job for my wedding day hair. I decided to change my wedding hairstyle after we had our trial, so I was a little nervous I didn't have a chance to see it beforehand. However, she knocked it out of the park - I looked and felt so beautiful, it was exactly the way I envisioned myself on my wedding day. Meghan was very responsive and easy to work with throughout the entire planning process. I cannot recommend her enough!

I did a LOT of research before booking hair and makeup and Meghan still exceeded my expectations. She was so punctual and prepared and was amazing to work with. I didn't have time to schedule a trial but she still knocked it out of the park based on photos I had sent and the description I had given. She helped me find a hairpiece for 1/10th of the price of what I was seeing on Etsy without compromising any quality whatsoever. My group of girls/moms/I all have vastly different hair colors, textures, lengths, and preferred styles but every single one of us had a beautiful hairstyle that lasted ALL NIGHT LONG. Meghan was amazing and I am so happy that I booked her for hair. If you're considering booking, just do it! You wont regret it.

Meghan was an absolute pleasure to work with leading up to my wedding and on the actual wedding day. I planned my wedding from out of town and therefore, corresponded with Meghan primarily over email. I sent pictures of hairstyles I liked and she recommended clip-in extensions and expertly color matched my hair over email. I was so impressed with the color and how seamlessly the extensions blended with my natural hair. On the day of the event, Meghan was timely, organized, and incredibly professional. She kept the entire bridal party on schedule while getting ready and we especially appreciated her attention to detail. She even helped put on my veil to make sure that it was secure and I felt comfortable. Seriously the most talented hair artist out there. I have super curly (and often frizzy) hair and was truly blown away by Meghan's skill and talent. I gave her a vague idea of what I wanted (loose, low bun) and she turned it into something gorgeous. My wedding day was during the heat health crisis in Philly (hit 99 degrees!) and our venue was outside and my hair held up all night -- I seriously don't know how she did it. The rest of my crew was obsessed with their hair as well -- everyone was just so, so impressed; lots of compliments! She did a totally superb job with the moms' hair, too! Could not possibly recommend Meghan more highly. Also, Meghan's assistant Jennifer was AWESOME and insanely talented too. She did half of my crew's hair and everything looked stunning -- super talented hair artist!!
