Stephanie was the best, she ensured that our wedding photos would be amazing and she was not wrong! We had a bit of a complication with COVID but she made it all work and made our day a priority. I loved working with her, she felt like a friend as soon as we met which made picture taking a breeze! I HIGHLY recommend her!

I booked Emerald + Ivy three weeks after my engagement-- before finding the perfect venue, before saying yes to the dress-- because it was clear to me that no matter what my special day ended up looking like, E+I would capture it in beautiful, timeless photos! When my wedding plans were impacted by COVID, we were so fortunate to be able to have E+I photograph our vow ceremony in June and our larger celebration in August. The emotions during each of these completely different events shine through in the pictures-- from the photos of my family prepping a BBQ following the intimate ceremony at our home, to the pictures of my groom and I laughing together as we cut our wedding cake in front of all of our guests at our country club reception. I am so blown away with Stephanie's amazing photos as well as her personal approach that made my *husband!* and I feel incredibly comfortable during the whole process. Stephanie's ability to capture in-the-moment candids truly sets E+I apart from the cookie cutter staged photos you often scroll by without a second glance. I am so grateful to have found the PERFECT photographer to capture the two most beautiful days of my life!!

Due to COVID our wedding plans changed. We moved our wedding to a completely different state in less than 6 weeks. I found Emerald + Ivy on the Knot and reached out. We talked over FaceTime for a few hours and she made a timeline and scheduled everything out for us (basically a wedding planner too 😉). She wanted to get to know who we were as people and make our day about both of us, regardless of what others wanted. She was literally a life saver in so many ways from planning to the day of! Not only are her photos amazing, she is very interactive with guest and everyone loves Stephanie! We are so lucky to have found Emerald + Ivy Photography for our special day. I’m truly only sad that she doesn’t live closer for all of our future photography needs! We truly cannot take you enough for everything you have done for us and these stunning photos.

Can I give more than 5 stars?? Stephanie is a talented, professional, and amazing photographer. She was so good about meeting ahead of time and planning out the shots we wanted on our wedding day. Communication with Stephanie was excellent! She made me feel comfortable as a bride through the entire process. Even before our big day, she sends out special gifts to all of her clients (candle, mug, canvas tote, candy, etc) She makes you feel so special. If I had to describe her business—I would say PERSONAL. Stephanie makes it all about YOU and how to capture your day perfectly in every way. Stop looking and just BOOK NOW!! 💗

Working with Stephanie for my wedding was a fantastic decision! She's now going to photograph my sister's wedding in October 2020! From the beginning stages where Stephanie and I were emailing back and forth about the wedding schedule and list of photos I wanted, to the day of the wedding where Stephanie took SO much stress of off my shoulders, it was such a pleasure to work with Emerald & Ivy! Stephanie and her team were so incredibly helpful through our wedding process. Outside of picking a date and venue, finding the perfect photographer was our top priority in the beginning stages of planning. From the moment we spoke with Stephanie, we felt at total peace that our wedding memories would be beautifully and thoughtfully captured. We worked with Stephanie's brilliant associate, Cassidy Garcia on the day of the wedding and her energy and creativity shined throughout. Originally, we were both very hesitant about a first look. I think we get it in our heads when we are younger that the first look you should have with your betrothed on a wedding day should be when you are walking down the aisle- let me tell you, I am SO glad we did not go in that direction. Any time our friends and family ask us about our favorite part of the wedding day we both respond emphatically with, "Our First Look". There was something so intimate and special about having that magical moment between the two of us before the whirlwind of the day. A huge thank you to Stephanie for encouraging us to do a first look! Cassidy did an amazing job at capturing every part of the day without being invasive. Her calm and positive presence truly added to the beauty of the day. I still look at our photos from our wedding almost daily because they truly transport me back to each and every special moment. Thank you to Stephanie and her team for being such an integral part of the most important day of our lives!

Stephanie was wonderful! She made our wedding day very relaxed and enjoyable knowing she had every detail under control! She met with us to discuss what we wanted to capture, gave many helpful ideas and suggestions, and made the entire experience so very easy! She is careful to accommodate the bride and bridal party, putting everyone at ease and making sure everyone is comfortable, and can enjoy the day. She works hard to capture every memory perfectly, and makes a potentially very stressful day to be worry-free. Even though there was unexpected weather on our special day, she went over and above to work around that and give us moments to remember for a lifetime. Highly recommend!

Stephanie was an amazing photographer to work with! Although she did not shoot our wedding, her associate photographer did, Stephanie was there every step of the way to help us plan every little detail. She had the exact style I was looking for and our photos turned out beautifully. And the wooden box she gave us with our flash drive of pictures was beyond beautiful and perfect!

Absolutely amazing experience all the way around. Stephanie really does go above and beyond. Firstly, she makes you feel comfortable and relaxed while taking your pictures, but also knew how to make it fun! I felt because of this my pictures turned out way better then I could have ever imagined. Stephanie was also very helpful whenever I had questions. Even if they weren't photography related she was always nice and helped me as much as she could. I am so glad I found her and she truly captured my wedding in the best way possible. Her work speaks for itself honestly!

Stephanie was absolutely incredible. Aside from our venue, she was the first vendor we selected. From day one, she made herself super available to us, and she made the planning process much easier for us. Wedding planning was not necessarily something I was looking forward to, especially without having my family in the same state as me for the entirety of the process. Stephanie helped us find and decided on other vendors, as well as all timing decisions by outlining a day-of timeline with us on the day we met. She took the time to get to know my now husband & I, and she told our story with us! We had a small ceremony with no wedding party and it was all beautifully captured. We also did 3 “first looks,” which was wonderfully organized & captured. Because we only had a Best Man & MOH, I did a first look with my dad, my siblings, then my man. We got married in the evening, and the last thing we wanted was to have to spend the whole day celebrating separately, so we decided to do the three first looks early in the afternoon. This was also wonderful because we had plenty of time to do our portraits & saved family portraits for between the ceremony and the reception. The sweetest day, captured by sweetest photographer!!!
