was not planning on having a day-of coordinator. I thought I could handle everything myself with enough planning and help from family and my wedding party. I love hosting, planning parties, and creating experiences for people. Honestly, it has been a dream of mine for years. But at some point during planning, I had to stop and remind myself that this wasn’t a party I was throwing for someone else. This was MY wedding day. My husband and I deserved to actually experience it instead of running it. A friend recommended Emerald and Ivy, and after reaching out, Andie responded almost immediately and scheduled a video call with me. That call completely changed my perspective. Andie made me realize that trusting someone else with my wedding day was not giving up control, it was giving myself permission to fully enjoy the day we worked so hard to create. She is creative, passionate, organized, and so genuinely excited about what she does. We talked through ideas, design, vibes, flow, and vision for the day, and I swear she was just as excited as I was. She paired me with Hannah for month-of coordination and WOW. When I say Hannah was a lifesaver in countless moments, that is an understatement. As the wedding gets closer, the stress becomes VERY real. Even though I genuinely love planning and organizing, it was such a relief having someone who truly understands weddings to talk through concerns with, bounce ideas off of, and reassure me through the process. About a month before the wedding, we met at the venue for a walkthrough and went through everything. Decor placement, setup flow, timeline, rentals, vendors, logistics, transitions, details . . . all organized into the most beautifully detailed system that my Type A heart absolutely loved. But here was my biggest fear . . .I had SUCH a specific vision in my head, and I could not imagine anyone else being able to bring it to life exactly how I pictured it. Then wedding day came. Oh. My. God. Hannah is basically a fairy godmother. An angel sent from heaven. A miracle worker. She somehow reached directly into my brain, pulled out every little detail I imagined, and turned it into reality. Seeing everything fully set up for the first time honestly left me speechless. Every candle, every detail, every placement, every transition. It was perfect. I had heard so many horror stories about things going wrong on wedding days, and I just assumed something had to happen. Nothing did. The timeline flowed flawlessly. Setup was stunning. Vendors were coordinated perfectly. The day felt effortless from start to finish because Hannah and the Emerald and Ivy team were handling everything behind the scenes. And honestly? If anything DID go wrong, I never knew about it. That alone says everything. Because of them, my husband and I were fully present for the happiest day of our lives instead of worrying about logistics and problem-solving all day long. So if you’re debating whether you need a coordinator, this is your sign:  YES. You do. And if you’re considering Emerald and Ivy, stop looking and book them immediately. There is no one better. We are forever grateful for Hannah, Andie, and the entire Emerald and Ivy team for making our wedding day more perfect than we ever could have imagined.

Andie used my daughter’s vibe and enhanced the beauty of The Mackey House, creating the perfect wedding and staying on budget! Every detail went smoothly from start to finish. Andie is extremely organized and her timeline was perfection! Andie had every detail thoughtfully and carefully planned and executed. She was a wealth of information since we were from out of state and needed a lot of advice. We had one mishap (my fault) and Andie smiled, scurried off and created the most gorgeous corsage using our florals! She navigated the mother/daughter dynamic perfectly and I appreciated her input and suggestions. While there were obviously happy tears shed, most were with Andie as my daughter truly had her dream wedding thanks to Andie! I HIGHLY recommend Andie Nichols with Emerald and Ivy as your wedding planner!!

Throughout the planning process, Andie was attentive, responsive, and detail-oriented. She took the time to understand our vision and then elevated it in ways we never could have imagined. Every recommendation—from vendors to design choices—was thoughtful and spot-on. What meant the most to us was how genuinely invested her and Emma were in making our day special.
