Emerald & Ivy Events

ination call all the way until the last minute of our wedding. Andie and her team are true professionals and have great knowledge to help you plan your special day. From rentals, behind the scenes coordination with your other vendors, to styling a beautiful reception, I was in complete awe! Do yourself a favor and book with Emerald and Ivy Events. You will not be disappointed!

was not planning on having a day-of coordinator. I thought I could handle everything myself with enough planning and help from family and my wedding party. I love hosting, planning parties, and creating experiences for people. Honestly, it has been a dream of mine for years. But at some point during planning, I had to stop and remind myself that this wasn’t a party I was throwing for someone else. This was MY wedding day. My husband and I deserved to actually experience it instead of running it. A friend recommended Emerald and Ivy, and after reaching out, Andie responded almost immediately and scheduled a video call with me. That call completely changed my perspective. Andie made me realize that trusting someone else with my wedding day was not giving up control, it was giving myself permission to fully enjoy the day we worked so hard to create. She is creative, passionate, organized, and so genuinely excited about what she does. We talked through ideas, design, vibes, flow, and vision for the day, and I swear she was just as excited as I was. She paired me with Hannah for month-of coordination and WOW. When I say Hannah was a lifesaver in countless moments, that is an understatement. As the wedding gets closer, the stress becomes VERY real. Even though I genuinely love planning and organizing, it was such a relief having someone who truly understands weddings to talk through concerns with, bounce ideas off of, and reassure me through the process. About a month before the wedding, we met at the venue for a walkthrough and went through everything. Decor placement, setup flow, timeline, rentals, vendors, logistics, transitions, details . . . all organized into the most beautifully detailed system that my Type A heart absolutely loved. But here was my biggest fear . . .I had SUCH a specific vision in my head, and I could not imagine anyone else being able to bring it to life exactly how I pictured it. Then wedding day came. Oh. My. God. Hannah is basically a fairy godmother. An angel sent from heaven. A miracle worker. She somehow reached directly into my brain, pulled out every little detail I imagined, and turned it into reality. Seeing everything fully set up for the first time honestly left me speechless. Every candle, every detail, every placement, every transition. It was perfect. I had heard so many horror stories about things going wrong on wedding days, and I just assumed something had to happen. Nothing did. The timeline flowed flawlessly. Setup was stunning. Vendors were coordinated perfectly. The day felt effortless from start to finish because Hannah and the Emerald and Ivy team were handling everything behind the scenes. And honestly? If anything DID go wrong, I never knew about it. That alone says everything. Because of them, my husband and I were fully present for the happiest day of our lives instead of worrying about logistics and problem-solving all day long. So if you’re debating whether you need a coordinator, this is your sign:  YES. You do. And if you’re considering Emerald and Ivy, stop looking and book them immediately. There is no one better. We are forever grateful for Hannah, Andie, and the entire Emerald and Ivy team for making our wedding day more perfect than we ever could have imagined.

and Ivy as our wedding planner. Andie works closely with The Mackey House and the entire process was completely perfect in every way. Andie used my daughter’s vibe and enhanced the beauty of The Mackey House, creating the perfect wedding and staying on budget! Every detail went smoothly from start to finish. Andie is extremely organized and her timeline was perfection! Andie had every detail thoughtfully and carefully planned and executed. She was a wealth of information since we were from out of state and needed a lot of advice. We had one mishap (my fault) and Andie smiled, scurried off and created the most gorgeous corsage using our florals! She navigated the mother/daughter dynamic perfectly and I appreciated her input and suggestions. While there were obviously happy tears shed, most were with Andie as my daughter truly had her dream wedding thanks to Andie! I HIGHLY recommend Andie Nichols with Emerald and Ivy as your wedding planner!!

Can’t recommend Emerald & Ivy enough!

sense of calm, organization, and expertise that made what could have been a stressful experience feel seamless and even enjoyable. Throughout the planning process, Andie was attentive, responsive, and detail-oriented. She took the time to understand our vision and then elevated it in ways we never could have imagined. Every recommendation—from vendors to design choices—was thoughtful and spot-on. What meant the most to us was how genuinely invested her and Emma were in making our day special. We felt completely supported every step of the way and could not have asked for a better team.

ponsive, highly competent, and an absolute joy to work with throughout the entire process. On the wedding day, everything ran seamlessly, allowing us to be fully present and enjoy every moment without any stress. We are so grateful for her care, professionalism, and attention to detail. I highly recommend Emerald and Ivy Events to anyone looking for an exceptional wedding coordination team!

ur day so very special. We worked with Hannah who was exceptional! We could not recommend Emerald and Ivy enough!

a lot of unique and personal touches that I wanted to include in our wedding day. From friendship bracelets set up for each guest, to a shelf featuring all of our guests’ love stories and wedding photos, to what felt like an absurd amount of bite sized desserts, I had a very specific vision. Andie brought every single detail to life perfectly. She understood what was important to me and executed it flawlessly. She was also such a calming and steady presence throughout the entire day. She made sure my dress was perfectly ready before walking down the aisle. She made sure my husband and I had appetizers and drinks in hand right after the ceremony. She was always one step ahead, handling things before we even knew they needed attention. Technically she was a three month coordinator, but she went above and beyond that role. Even before the three month mark began, she was always responsive, answered my questions, and gave thoughtful vendor suggestions. We felt supported far beyond what was expected. I truly could not have had a more perfect day, and I know she is the reason it all came together so seamlessly. I highly recommend Andie and Emerald and Ivy. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made.

th us to understand the day we wanted and had wonderful suggestions and was equally good about telling us what not to do. The day of, she was ahead of the game all day, not one hiccup and she truly shared all of our excitement with us! She really is a “must have” when you are planning a wedding.

hen the bus driver was very behind. She was good at getting back to us and was truly a pleasure to work with. She really made the wedding all about us and nothing stood in her way!!

ading up to the wedding. We met a few times prior and she helped develop the day-of timeline to a tee and asked so many questions that I didn't even know we needed to think about. On wedding day, everything went flawlessly and I owe that all to Anna Beth and the detailed planning she did leading up to the event - everything was so thoroughly and intentionally thought out that she didn't have to ask me a single question on the actual wedding day. She was an absolute pleasure to work with - highly recommend Emerald & Ivy and specifically Anna Beth!!

essed! She is so well organized, efficient, kind, patient, professional and competent. My daughter was married at The Mackey House last weekend and I did not worry about one single detail all day long. Andie was on top of EVERYTHING! She was quick to answer any questions we had and thought of things we didn't even know should be thought of! We had an outdoor wedding and the weather was iffy for a bit. We weren't aware of this, but Andie was! She had a plan in place in no time and pivoted quickly when the weather cooperated and the ceremony went on as planned. All of our DIY projects and things we brought to the venue were packed up and ready to go at the end of the night. We were able to leave about 45 minutes after the bride and groom left! These are just a few of the many things Andie took care of throughout the month before the wedding. I have absolutely no complaints...what more could you ask for?

ne calls and emails the month prior to the day of she was on top of everything! She has great design sense and is the sweetest person. You can let your worries go if you are working with her!!

h and every detail you can think of! This phone call took a lot of stress off of us. She handled every detail on the day of our wedding and handled coordination with our other vendors. In doing so, we were able to focus on just being present with each other and our guests. I highly recommend Andie and her team!

ng interfered with making the wedding day so special. She was the day of contact for all of our vendors, making sure that they set everything up to meet our expectations. Thank you , thank you , thank you!! I give great credit to Emerald & Ivy Events for their professionalism, for ensuring that everything ran smoothly, and was absolutely perfect! Special thanks to the Mackey House team, Geist at Signature Catering, Amazing florals by Kato Floral Design, Two Strings Quartet, and Gigi’s Cupcakes for making our daughter’s wedding dreams come true, and making it a very stress-free day for everyone! Well, done! We could not have chosen a better team!!

y amazing suggestions/ideas to make our day the best it could be. She executed the rehearsal and day of the wedding flawlessly and we were in within 3 minutes of our timeline the entire night. I really could not recommend Andie and Emerald & Ivy more for planning your event!!!

ceTime with her. She asked every single question that we didn't think of for the wedding and truly was able to understand our vision from the ceremony, to the dinner, to the reception because she really listened (surprisingly hard to find that). The ceremony was the most important part to us and she made the rehearsal run so smoothly and we could see our vision come together. The day of the wedding was beyond perfect. I am not joking when I say we both had zero stress the entire day!!! Everything was set up the way we wanted it to and she was constantly directing things and people to where they should be. We had a timeline the whole day but it really didn't even feel like we were running from thing to thing. If you are considering hiring Andie and her team just do it!! They will make you day absolutely fantastic. We had SO many compliments from all of our guests on how great they were in helping everyone. Love love love this team!!!!

y House. We appreciate you helping us to achieve our “dinner at Tiffany’s” theme and thank you for being a part of our special day!

20 steps ahead at all times. She seriously knows everything and all things weddings and how to get it all done flawlessly. I was living out of state and first in my family to get married and Andie made the planning simple and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything covered. People say to expect something to go wrong on your wedding day…this is not the case with Andie!

t they've done hundreds of times before. Andie will provide the exact opposite experience. She listens to know exactly what your vision is, then will give ideas that you didn't even realize will make your dream come to life. Andie will be able to recommend where to get the most WOW - she has tricks and connections that will make planning easy and decision making a breeze (something that can easily get overwhelming if you don't have the right people on your team). Andie gets more done than anyone I have met, but with the calmest demeanor that is so needed in the season of life of being engaged. My entire reception, I had guests excitedly talking about different aspects that made our wedding incredibly unique. It will not just be an unforgettable day for you and your spouse - but your guests will be talking about their experience for months to come.
