Johnathan and team were amazing!!! Met a few times prior to the day to discuss different things. Johnathan made it happen. They also made it fun and made us laugh. They were such a great addition to our day with both photography and videography. We even added on the photo booth which was thoroughly enjoyed by all and Johnathan and team handled it all.

We hired Jonathan from Emerald Cinema Weddings as our videographer and he blew us away. He climbed around Donner Summit in high winds to get the aerial shots we had our hearts set on and ended up sacrificing his drone to make it happen. That’s the kind of dedication you don’t come across often and we can't thank him enough for doing that. Beyond that, he brought so much positive energy and gave us just the right amount of direction to feel confident and relaxed in front of the camera. Thank you Jonathan for giving it everything you had to capture our day the way we dreamed.

We first met Jonathan for our engagement photoshoot and he made us so comfortable and guided us through the whole process, since we didn't have much experience. Jonathan and his team at emerald cinema absolutely blew it out of the park! They were one of our favorite vendors from our wedding! From the professionalism of our first phone call with Jonathan all the way to the days leading up to our wedding, we felt so confident in the photo + videos they would be capturing of our special day. They arrived early and ready to get started when we arrived to the venue and kept the energy going throughout the day! They were so nice to my husband and I, I've already recommended them to a few of our friends getting married in the next years! Our sneak peeks were delivered within the week which exceeded our expectations, we couldn't stop staring at them! Jonathan was awesome! He is so nice and professional and went above and beyond for us. He included a free engagement shoot in our package and the pictures were so beautiful! For our wedding he came earlier than planned and we really appreciated that. He brought a photo booth and all our guests absolutely loved it!!!! We just got our engagement pics back and they are BEAUTIFUL! Both my fiance and I were super comfortable with Jonathan. We just got our videos back and oh ma gawd!! Jonathan and his team really captured the emotions of our wedding day beautifully in a video that we will watch and share with our friends and family for years to come. Initially we did not think much about having a wedding video, imagining that it would just be a recording that we would never really watch, but after seeing the wedding films Jonathan has made before, we knew he could add a whole new level of experience to our event. The end result exceeded our expectations. We are so glad we went with them! Everyone on his team was professional, personable, punctual, flexible, and made our big day feel really relaxed and stress-free. Maira, our video person was amazing!! Too bad I can only give 5 stars. She was very friendly and the shots were amazing! We absolutely love our videos. My mom was surprised they were able to capture all that! It's like I knew they were there, but wow. She seamlessly maneuvered around our wants and needs and gave us so many great ideas of her own. We would hire them 10X over. Also, their prices are beyond fair, a great investment!

Working with Emerald Videography was a breeze from the start! Our initial meeting was very informative and quick, and the whole process after was great! This was probably the easiest vendor I had to work with and our videographers were great! The main video person captured all our desired shots and she never stood out in a bad way at our wedding. She was very professional and I couldn't recommend them enough!

I was a bit hesitant to hire a videographer, but their pricing was very reasonable. During our first meeting, everything was explained to us and it sounded like a no-brainer. Prior to our wedding, we went over our timeline and a few other details like music selection and such. During the day they worked really well with our photographer, they blended right in. We received our videos about 7 weeks after, which was very quick. And we were floored! When did they even have time to get all of those details lol?? Thank you so much, Jonathan and co!

When searching for photographers/videographers, I knew that there was a certain look i was searching for. As soon as i came upon Emerald Cinema i instantly knew they were exactly what i had in mine. I prayed they would be available on my wedding date, and sure enough, they were! They made us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. We were absolutely BLOWN away by our pictures. We got SO many compliments on the photos. Super professional and were always very easy to contact. We got our photos back in a very quick manner and I would hands down recommend them!

When planning a wedding and forming a budget, the cost of everything can seem so overwhelming and makes you debate what you might not truly need. Videography was one of those things I debated, however I am sooooo glad I found Emerald Cinema and decided to make the investment. They were easy to connect with, share my vision with and work with on the day of the wedding. Their process makes it easy to pick a package, share the moments that will mean the most to you and provide an outstanding product. I received everything I could have wanted and appreciate the level of detail they showed every step of the way. Emerald Cinema worked flawlessly with my other vendors, communicating and organizing in ways I wasn’t expecting which took pressure off of me! HIRE EMERALD CINEMA! Not only were they incredibly organized and responsive, they were also a pleasure to work with. The entire process was flawless from beginning to end. Their questionnaire was so in depth and helpful, there was little to no room for any error! The videographer was so helpful and directive throughout our special day to ensure perfect shots and amazing raw footage. The outcome was beyond what we could have hoped for AND they even did some extra editing for us to ensure we loved our film and it was exactly what we were looking for. You will not be disappointed!

By far our favorite vendor of our entire wedding. Jonathan and his team were unbelievable. If you’re not used to being filmed (which I assume most of us aren’t), it takes an incredible group of people to make us not look awkward on camera and feel comfortable. To be able to coordinate 2 separate film crews, one with me and one with my husband, then come together, plus coordinating with a million family members, traveling from my parents house, to the church, to downtown. When we got our trailer back, we sat on our couch watching it over and over crying tears of joy. If you want to be able to relive the best day of your life over and over, you need to book Emerald Cinema.

We had a very non-traditional wedding with a Persian ceremony thrown in the mix and Jonathan captured every aspect of the night beautifully. My wife could barely sleep after we received the whole video because she wanted to keep watching it again and again. It’s like reliving the night from everyone’s perspective. Originally, I thought photos of the evening would be enough, but I let a friend who had also used Emerald Cinema talk me into it, and I’m so thankful I did. I’ve honestly never seen wedding videos as interesting and well done as theirs. The editing! It’s all just incredibly wonderful, and we can’t thank them enough. They were also very easy to work with. We had to move our wedding date back a year due to COVID, and they were very accommodating without charging any extra fees. If The Knot allowed 10 ⭐️, Emerald Cinema would definitely deserve them all.

We couldn’t possibly recommend Emerald Cinemas enough. Family and friends still bring up the “breathtaking” shots from our engagement session last year and that’s truly the only word that matches his level of their work. Out of the dozen+ vendors we worked with, they were by far the easiest to communicate with throughout the entire process, and during the ceremony and reception - our photographer and videographers somehow ninja-stepped into the shadows while being in the middle of the action at the same time. We were a covid disaster!! Our wedding was postponed and John made the transition to our new date easy.. on our new wedding day Jonathan called to let me know when he arrived at the venue since we were still in transit. He was very Friendly and attentive to making sure he got the right angle for everything. He even let us know if he needed to step away and made sure he spoke to every single person in attendance. My husband had a wonderful surprise for me and I know Johnathan made sure he had the right angle to cover the moment. I 100% recommend them to anyone. And although I didn't originally want a videographer I am so thankful that I changed my mind. I can't wait for the final dvd!

The Emerald Cinema, team is amazing! Originally we had planned a destination wedding in Hawaii on the Island of Oahu, but due to all the craziness going on we had to change everything obviously. So I had to look at reivews and go wit my gut. But.. Everyone in my wedding party said they were so nice and professional. Even my cousin who is getting married next June is looking to book them. I haven't recived my video yet, but I'm sure when I do I'm gonna love it. :)
