Emerald City Ballroom

Emerald City Ballroom, led by the talented instructors Jeff and Lisa, provided an exceptional dance experience that exceeded all expectations. As someone who was initially nervous about our first dance, I decided to take Ballroom dancing classes to boost my confidence, and I'm so glad I did. Jeff and Lisa were not only amazing instructors but also made the classes fun and enjoyable. Despite my initial apprehension, my partner and I genuinely looked forward to each session and found ourselves practicing at home with enthusiasm. With the anticipation and stress of performing in front of an audience, I highly recommend taking 10 or more lessons to allow the muscle memory to truly kick in. We took two lessons per week for about six weeks which was a good amount. Our wedding guests were blown away by our dance performance, with numerous comments likening it to "watching Dancing with the Stars." This is a testament to Jeff and Lisa's skill and dedication to their craft. If they can do it with us, I promise they can do it with you too. I cannot recommend Emerald City Ballroom and instructors Jeff and Lisa highly enough. Whether you're a novice or experienced dancer, they will help you shine on the dance floor and create unforgettable memories. Thank you, Jeff and Lisa, for making our first dance truly magical!

My mom, dad, myself and now husband took lessons here with Jim. My mom and dad took the most lessons, and really found a new passion for dancing. My and my Dad's father daughter dance was a huge hit because of Jim's choreography and coaching. He made it fun and easy for us both, and it's an experience I will never forget with my Dad. I highly recommend Jim, he was amazing and fun!!

My now husband and I took private ballroom dance lessons with Kyle and we are glad we did! It was a lot of fun. Kyle was great to work with and provided constructive feedback. He has a passion for what he does and we reaped the benefit. Our guests were impressed with our first dance. Thank you!

My now-husband and I took private lessons with Amy to prepare for the first dance at our wedding. She was absolutely excellent from the start! My husband is pretty shy and self-conscious and had no previous dance experience but she made him feel totally comfortable. We took 5 lessons total to learn the Rumba plus some additional moves to use for our first dance to "In My Life" by the Beatles. Would highly recommend Emerald City Ballroom for any soon-to-be newlyweds who don't want to just stand and sway for their first dance. We hope to come back for more lessons again after things settle down a bit! :)
