I'm a wedding planner that had the pleasure of working with Elevation Band on a recent wedding. They were so easy to work with up to the wedding and they did a phenomenal job that evening! They are incredibly talented and really know how to pack a dance floor. I also enjoyed their coordinated costumes. I hope to use them again in the future :)

PARTY MACHINE IS THE BEST! We had this band at my daughters wedding last weekend and they were AMAZING! I had so many people ask me that night and after who they were. Carl had them ready to play and the dancing was so much fun! I only wish we had had another 2 hours as they set the tone for lots of fun! Looking for a great band for an event- PARTY MACHINE IS THE ONE!

Elevation Band went above and beyond my expectations! My husband and I are so thrilled we went with them! We had never heard them live before hiring them for our wedding but when we first heard them on our wedding day we were blown away!! The music during cocktail hour was great, the dinner music set the mood perfectly, and the dancing music was everything we dreamt of! Our guest were on the dance floor all night long!! The band was very interactive. They came onto the dance floor to get the guest involved even more. The best part of it all was that they let me and my husband come on stage multiple times to sing! That will always be a highlight of my wedding night. Thank you Elevation for providing the perfect entertainment! We can not stop raving about how amazing and talented you all are!

Emerald City is hands down one of the best bands in the DFW area. Any time a client of mine is looking for a band that can really bring the party and be the highlight of the evening, I immediately look to Emerald City. They are much more than a wedding band - watching them is like going to a live show of one of your favorite artists. Highly recommend them!

Limelight Band was one of the highlights of our wedding reception. From the first song to the last song, they were absolutely incredible and kept the energy on the dance floor all night long. They played a perfect variety of songs and each song was a hit that kept people on the dance floor. They let us dance and sing on stage, which was one of my favorite memories that I will cherish forever. They were extremely easy to work with and took all the requests from us before-hand. They made us feel good on our wedding day and greeted us with smiles and compliments. All of our guests were wanting to know who the band was and how to hire them. I would highly recommend them for any event!

I am a wedding coordinator in Texas and have been coordinating weddings for almost 20 years. We have worked with several really good bands over the years, but none can even remotely compare to Limelight! I've never seen anything like it! My staff and I could not stop smiling and enjoying the whole reception because of them! They played virtually NON STOP the entire reception. They didn't even stop in between songs. There was a wide variety of music, instruments, singers and all of them danced as well; on the stage and on the floor. It was truly remarkable and I can't stop talking about them. My friends keep asking me how the wedding went, and I tell them about the band. It was so much more than just "having a band". They put on a show, and you just could not help but dance and smile. We also had the privilege of spending a little time with them before the show and during their ONE 10 minute break. Every member was fun to talk to and we enjoyed getting to know them a little better. Mark Russell, their leader, was so friendly, professional, flexible and communicated with me throughout the night. I'd highly recommend them to anyone who wants a memorable event!

We really wanted to hire Limelight for our wedding, but they were a little out of our price range. Mark was kind enough to put together a smaller band for us, and I honestly could not have asked for a better experience. Our friends always tell us that people still talk about our wedding and they always mention two things: the food and the awesome music. This couldn’t have been possible without Mark Russell! I had nothing to worry about with regards to the band on the day of the wedding. I knew that if Mark was in charge, I could leave the music up to him and it would be amazing. And it was! Thanks so much, Mark and Limelight!

Having Limelight play at our wedding was the highlight of the night! They were such a fun group to work with and so professional. I did most of my interaction with Mark. He made sure everything was set up and ready to go on time. Leading up to the event, he was helpful in providing direction on song selection and order, flow of the night, financial details and the needs of the band members. They certainly knew how to get the party started!

We recently hired the Limelight’s 11piece band for our son’s wedding in Shreveport LA at the Remington Hotel. The management had us sign the contract and pay 50% up front and the remainder 10 days in advance of our event. The location and hours were listed as on contract. Our bride filled out our specific timeline with songs requested. 13 hot meals were also requested. Our contract included solo cocktail music from 6-7pm then full band from 7-11pm. The reception’s timeline was moved up 30minutes as was stated in the timeline given by the bride. The band did their send off at 10pm. I have no idea why they ended early. I spoke with the wedding coordinator and hotel manager who was there that night and neither gave permission for them to end early. I would like the limelight to address that issue. I understand guests went up early to ballroom we were downstairs waiting for the reception to start. The reception technically began at 5:30 and should have ended at 10:30. When I asked Mark Russell he told me he was doing his job and would talk to me next week. A very curt answer but since they were already paid and moving equipment I had no recourse and did not want to create a scene. Before the event Mark asked for 4 movers to help them get their equipment up roughly 8 -10 brick steps from ballroom to rooftop. I spoke to the hotel and they were arranging that help. The day before the wedding during the bridesmaid luncheon he texts me to let me know the time they were arriving and asked that there were 4movers to move the equipment up and then back down at the end of the evening or they wouldn’t be able to do the event. He texted me again on Feb 9 day of wedding at 10:25am if we were confirmed on movers and I said yes they were confirmed. DURING the wedding reception at 8:23pm he texted me about the movers not being sufficient and if I had another solution for him. Even my husband and his cousin offered to carry their equipment as additional help. When I spoke to the hotel manager he said he was there with help when they arrived. The weather did not cooperate and it was wet and cold but they were under a clear tent with sides and it was lite and heated. As opposed to talking to the wedding planner or hotel manger he continually asked me which was very inappropriate the night of my son’s wedding. I found him to be very unprofessional and rude. Quite honestly he was my only problem and disappointment that night. I have been involved in numerous functions with large bands from Atlanta and Tampa they have always been very accommodating. We hired this band because it was from Dallas and a more country feel with some 2 stepping music which they never played. I thought their dance music was good and they did play the songs we requested for our bride/groom, mother/son, father /daughter dance. They definitely rocked the house when they played. The attitude and unprofessionalism of their leader was what I had a problem with.

WOW! I can't even explain how amazing this band is. They got everyone dancing on the floor, seriously, all 178 guests were on one dance floor. THE LOVE TRAIN IS A MUST!! These guys preform, and they know what they are doing. Working with them was easy & they were always responsive when I was asking questions. They made the night such an event!!

I don't even know where to begin to thank ECB for all they did to contribute to making our daughter and new son-in-law's wedding reception a dream come true! We had heard ECB at another wedding reception so when our daughter got engaged, they were the first call we made....even before a wedding planner, a church, reception, etc decisions were made. We knew they were good but they far exceeded our already high expectations. They made this reception an extremely fun night. They were wonderful and easy to work with during the planning process as well as during the reception itself. Words can't express our gratitude.....we will be forever grateful. Lauri H.

Stop looking for bands now and book them! They literally MADE THE WEDDING RECEPTION! They had so many different amazing singers that helped the room come alive with songs from every genre we requested. Everyone from teenagers to 90-year-olds had an amazing time! My grandma who is 91 and has never danced, was in the center of the dance floor until we left the reception.

The Party Machine Band, one of the Emerald City bands, played at our wedding reception. They were fabulous! They kept the party going all night and catered to my special requests. I am SO GLAD we hired them to do our wedding reception!!!

WOW! I cannot say enough good things about Limelight - the band is amazing and WELL worth it. We have people talking for days (and weeks - our wedding was just 3 weeks ago) about the band and how amazing they were. They got everybody on the dance floor. They interacted with the crowd and they even did a "horn exit" which was SO cool when we left the venue. We met with Mark Russell prior to our wedding to discuss how we wanted the night to look and what we wanted / did not want played. While we didn't select EVERY song, we gave a good amount and they executed flawlessly. Even better, they played songs after feeling out the crowd what would be right at the time. Our dance floor was packed the entire night which is exactly what we wanted! It was amazing how the band would interact with the crowd. For example, the trombone / saxaphone players would go off the stage and stand on a chair / table at the back of the room to get people moving! Or, when the cupid shuffle was playing, they would have a man with glow sticks guiding how the dance with. They were so much fun! The entire band was so friendly - we had a few minutes to talk with them after our private last dance and I cannot say enough good things. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anybody in the area ... well worth the investment if you want you and your guests to have a great time. We can't wait to come see you all at local venues again soon!

They have been the wedding band for so many of my friends weddings and the are AWESOME! Literally the dance floor is always packed when they are playing.

It is actually difficult for me to put into words how much our wedding was elevated because we had Emerald City Band. We booked Emerald City before ever seeing them perform based solely on reviews and really took a risk. Everyone I talked to who had seen them were so excited and told us how great they were so I had extremely high expectations. They blew those expectations out of the water! They set the tone for our reception and made it the big party I always wanted. They were in the crowd and brought so much energy. Guests of every age have told me how much fun they had and I know I have Emerald City to thank for that. I cannot recommend this band enough!!!

WOW!! People could not stop talking about how incredible this band was! We had the absolute time of our lives thanks in part to this incredible band. Our dance floor stayed packed the ENTIRE night, and included people across all age groups. The band members had so much fun with our crowd, and really brought everyone to life! Mark, the band leader, was excellent to work with. The bride and groom both had secret dances that they needed to coordinate with him about without the other knowing, and he helped everything go off without a blip! We will forever remember how much fun we had thanks to this amazing band!

Look no further this is the band that will make your wedding magical and an event that all your guests will remember for a lifetime. There are not enough adjectives in our vocabulary to describe Emerald City Band and how they made my daughter's wedding the party event of the year. Dino and all of the very talented singers and musicians is not just a band, they are entertainers that put on a show you will never experience from any other band. The way they interact with the bride and groom as well as the rest of the guests on the dance floor made the evening even more memorable. They had everyone on the dance floor for the entire wedding and our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed their music that covered all genres and spanned many generations. Thank you so very much for sharing all your talent with our wedding guests and making this the magical wedding my daughter dreamed about all of her life.

Holy cow!!! Everyone I have heard from thought they were incredible. They have a wide variety of songs and incredible energy. You fill out a form of things you like and don't like and from there they build a set list. I was just so impressed. They are a sub-group of the Emerald City Management group and a great deal. Definitely on par with Emerald City and significantly cheaper! We had SO much fun with them, and my guests could not have been happier. Of all the things this is what I got the most compliments on.

Limelight was the HIGHLIGHT of our evening - Aside from the whole marriage part which was great BUT this band BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN! We've been married now for two weeks and I'm still receiving text messages, phone calls, emails, praising the band and how amazing they were. They can really read the crowd, know what needs to be played, and keep people on their feet. We provided flip flops for all the ladies at the reception so they could dance the night away and thank goodness we did because the dance floor was full ALL NIGHT! No questions, Limelight made the reception the party of the year. They were so much fun! They can play anything, and I mean anything. They learned two new songs for our first dance and father/daughter dance. The lead singer would come find me several times to make sure that they were doing everything they could to make the night great. Our guests never left the dance floor the entire night. I could not have imagined anything better. They were INCREDIBLE!

If I could pick one vendor that made my wedding over the top, I would pick Limelight! Being a music professional I listened to hundred of cover bands before I found the perfect band. Every member in the band is extremely talented, entertaining, and energetic. We got married in Ohio, and flew them in from Dallas, and they were so easy to accommodate! All of our guest were dancing until the very last song and still rave how much they LOVED the band. If you are looking for a "party" reception, then this band is a must have! They truly made our wedding such a blast! Love them :)

After searching through many wedding bands online, we finally chose Downtown Fever NYC. The recordings were great and we knew we were getting a quality band. We didn't know quite how wonderful they were until we heard them at our reception. They were fabulous!! We were impressed with their song selection--we had given them a few of our favorites (and a few we don't like) and they went from there. They read the crowd well and the dance floor was always filled. As musicians ourselves, choosing the band was an important part for us. My husband and I aren't big into dancing, but we had a blast on the dance floor at our reception. We received many compliments about Downtown Fever. It really made the reception! The band members are talented, professional, easy to work with, and they clearly enjoy performing. I would highly recommend Downtown Fever NYC!

Best Wedding band ever! They were great! They came into the crown and were singing and dancing with guests. They know a wide variety of music and bring a lot of fun and energy to their shows.

Words cannot even express how amazing this band is! They made my wedding a great success and are worth every penny! Absolutely phenomenal singers and playing....and thy know how to keep everyone dancing! They can play anything and make it sound better than the recording artist. Perfect band for my wedding!

Every single person who came to our wedding told us the band was AWESOME! They really were absolutely fabulous, played great songs, and EVERYONE (even the old people) were on the dance floor!

We found this band online and went to showcase showing them and 5 other bands. They were the 3rd band and the first two bands were good but a little too traditional for us. This band got up at the showcase and totally rocked it. We were really looking for an 80s band and we were assured that they had a lot of 80s tunes in their repetoire. I the end, they didn't have a huge 80s song list but it totally didn't matter because the songs they did were so good. Everyone danced all night long. You have no idea how nervous I was that I picked this band and only heard them for 15 mins. one time but they were the consumate professionals. Showed up when they said they would. Played the entire wedding. I cannot say enough. Everyone is still talking about how much fun they had at the wedding. I recommend them wholehartedly.

They were wonderful! They really know how to read a crowd and getting everyone to the dance floor. I loved how they would come off the stage and onto the floor and single/play in the crowd...so much fun! Again, they were wonderful! I would definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone! We got so many compliments on the band and how much fun they were without being overwhelming or too loud! Loved 'em!

Emerald City is amazing!! They are so much fun and get your guests out on the dance floor having a great time. My husband and I had the best time at our reception with our band, and after our wedding so many of our friends asked to use them at their weddings.
