Emerald Empire Band was the HIGHLIGHT of our wedding! I can't say enough good things about them. First of all, they had a very user friendly portal where we could add details, describe our musical tastes, and communicate with the band manager. They were so prompt and detailed during the planning process and they got back to us right away if we had any questions. On top of that, they performed one of the BEST renditions of Shout that I've ever heard and I had multiple people come up to me and say that they have never seen such a fantastic wedding band at any wedding before. My friend who got married a few months prior was saying that Emerald Empire was WAY better than her own wedding band. In addition, my mom sang a surprise song for me during the reception and Emerald Empire coordinated with her to accompany her for the song! It was the most beautiful, heart-warming, special moment of the wedding and it couldn't have happened without Emerald Empire. Finally, so many people came up to us after and were RAVING about the band. Their energy is amazing, both vocalists were phenomenal, the instrumentalists were perfectly dialed in, and we had everyone on the dance floor for most of the night! Thank you so much, Emerald Empire! You guys made our night INCREDIBLE!

I booked Emerald Empire for my wedding and I could not have been happier with the result! First, I want to shout out my guy Emmanuel. I worked with him leading up to the wedding on all of the day-of details. He was super positive, professional, communicative, and easy to get in touch with whenever I had questions. None of my questions went unanswered, and I went into the wedding day with zero hesitations about our music because I was confident that Emmanuel had handled it all- and he did! Second, the band blew everyone away. As soon as they started their first set, most of our guests were on the dance floor. We booked a five piece band and each musician was exceptionally talented. I still have guests telling me how awesome our reception was because of them. If I ever plan or host another event that needs live music, I will most definitely be booking them again!

Emerald Empire, especially Rashad, were everything we could have hoped for and more! From the moment we saw Emerald Empire at a showcase in Charlotte we knew that we were going to go with them! Live music was a huge priority for my husband and I, and Rashad's team delivered and some! We hired Emerald Empire for all parts of our day from the ceremony to a jazz cocktail hour, to a reception and then DJ after party - it was everything we could have asked for! Working with Rashad to add an extra DJ hour for an After Party was such a fun and special time for us, everyone is still talking about it! We can't recommend Emerald Empire and Rashad enough!

Best band ever!!! We hired them for our daughter's wedding on 10/19/24 and guests never left the dance floor. They provided a quartet for the ceremony, a jazz trio for the cocktail hour and an 8 piece band for the reception. Everyone raved about the music. Also I've attended weddings where the band is so loud that guests are fleeing the room. That was never an issue. They were organized and so easy to work with leading up to the wedding. The band makes the reception and you can not get better than Emerald Empire. I also thought they were affordable given all that they provided. They were true pros!!

We had listened to their work on their website and Spotify and knew they were talented, but hearing them live on our wedding night exceeded all of our expectations. The BEST wedding band out there!! All of our friends and family told us afterwards that it was the best wedding band they’ve ever seen. The communication from day one throughout the entire process couldn’t have been better. The band is very detail oriented and was always available via phone call, text or email. They played my playlist for the ceremony songs, performed for cocktail hour and killed it all night long for the reception! They are so talented and fun and had everyone on the dance floor having a great time all night long!

We hired emerald empire for our 200 guest wedding in ATL. The producer, Kelly, was easy to work with and the process was stress free. The band on the wedding day was incredible. We specifically wanted a great brass section and had 3 brass pieces out of our 8 total. The lead singer did a phenomenal rendition of I Will Survive that we won’t forget. The dance floor was so fun because of this band!

Emerald Empire Band exceeded all my expectations! Ethan was extremely easy to work with and followed up the week before the wedding to nail down all details. They played our special request songs and I received so many compliments on the band. The dance floor was still going strong at 11 pm. When you are planning a wedding, choosing a live band can be one of the most serious decisions you can make. The music of the evening can make or break a reception. My wife and I have been to so many weddings where the hosts plug in their personal Spotifys and hope for the best, which led to some poor song choices, overall low energy throughout the reception, and very little dancing whatsoever. The same can be said for some of the DJS we've seen perform at receptions. It was important for us that for our wedding we choose a band that doesn't play a single bad song, maintains high energy throughout the entire performance, and plays in a way that every guest is left dancing. Emerald Empire Band was able to achieve all of this. They were one of the funnest bands we've ever had the pleasure of listening to. They were so easy to work with, and were willing to listen our requests for how we wanting our evening to look, sound, and feel. From the moment they started playing to the moment they stopped they had people leaving everything they had on the dance floor. It's been almost three weeks since we had them perform at our wedding and I am still hearing friends and family speak the high praises of this band. If you choose to book with them, I can almost guarantee that they will have your guests ranting and raving as well. Do yourself a favor and hire this band.

We hired Emerald Empire Band for our June 8 wedding in Midtown, Atlanta. We got a 7 piece band for our reception and a keyboardist for our ceremony. We saw Emerald Empire play a showcase in spring 2023. We recognized several performers. They were fantastic! We had great feedback from our guests. So many people asked if we handpicked every song because they played to the vibe in the room so well; they made the entire playlist based on our feedback, and it was perfect. They even learned our first dance song. A few guests thought they were playing a recording, the singer sounded that good. Everyone was blown away by the horn section as well- get the horns, they're a real showstopper. I highly recommend Emerald Empire Band!

My husband and I got married March 2, 2024 at Bishop Station and had a 9-piece band with a full horn section and two vocalists. We had a dancing crowd, so we knew we wanted a band with high energy that could do a variety of genres and let me tell you -- Emerald Empire DELIVERED! They sounded amazing and have a knack for reading the room to keep the energy high. They also helped us pull off one of our favorite parts of the night: a New Orleans-style Second Line for our grand entrance with our wedding party! I, the bride, am from New Orleans and we wanted to honor my hometown by doing a traditional Second Line – the band was excited to jump in and brainstorm ideas with us to make this something special! It was an amazing, showstopper entrance that got our guests on their feet and dancing (and talking about for weeks after!), and we’re grateful for EEB helping bring that awesome, meaningful vision to life for us! Working with our producer Nigel was easy - he was responsive and thorough and did a great job of handpicking artists to fit our musical tastes and general vibes. We truly could NOT be more thrilled with our experience of working with the Emerald Empire Band for our wedding. Having live music was one of our few must-haves, and EEB delivered in every single way. Working with Ward was honestly such a joy, and he made the entire process a breeze. He and the band were able to take our musical tastes (we provided a general ideas re: genres and a few must-plays, but didn't go into extreme detail. At this point in the planning process we were having major decision fatigue/burnout, but I felt completely at ease that Ward/EEB would not steer us wrong) and create a setlist that set the perfect atmosphere/vibe for the entire evening. The dance floor was PACKED the entire evening, and the band's skill and professionalism truly made the night magical. The cherry on top was during our final private dance, the band went the extra mile to learn a small snippet of a very meaningful song which I assumed would just be the recorded version - hearing them begin to play our song so beautifully is a memory I will treasure forever. Truly look no further than EEB - we can't sing their praises enough and they are guaranteed to bring the house DOWN!

THIS BAND IS EVERYTHING! We had high expectations after attending one of their showcases in Charlotte but oh man did they exceed them. Working with Ward was extremely easy, and he understood the assignment. We had a Christmas themed reception and asked the band to participate in really getting into the Holiday spirit. They came dressed up ready to rock! Their 8-minute version of Free Bird really topped off the night. We had two couples who are using them for their weddings come up to us and expressed how excited they are after witnessing them at ours. 12/10 experience!

Look no further than Emerald Empire Band when booking a wedding band! They were recommended by our venue, so we went to a showcase and were blown away by how talented and diverse they were from country to pop to R&B, so we hired them on the spot and so happy that we did. It was an easy process throughout, as Emmanuel was in constant contact and answered every question we had, as well as asked us questions to make sure the band delivered the experience that we wanted for our special day. The band handled our PA system for our ceremony and even took care of our ceremony music playlist. We had a "jazz trio" for the cocktail hour and even though we weren't there to hear it, the guests loved it. Emmanuel mc'd the reception and the entire evening went so smoothly. My husband and I wanted a party and EEB delivered! We wanted a full horn section so we got an 8-piece band. What talented musicians! Our guests raved about the band and the dance floor was never empty. Emmanuel listened to everything we requested and made an amazing set list that kept the party going. What an incredible group! We were fortunate enough to have Emerald Empire play at our wedding, and weeks later, we are still getting messages about how great they were. We first found out about them by asking a friend which band he had at his wedding, because we were blown away by them. He told us it was Emerald Empire, and we never looked back. The planning process was in-depth enough to feel like nothing was being left out, while at the same time not being so tedious that it ever felt overwhelming. Cole was with us every step of the way in terms of getting things booked, planned, and executed. The band was already at the venue setting up before even I made it there! And the music was just so good. These musicians are PROFESSIONALS in every sense of the word. I was certainly impressed, and I know all of our guests were as well. Emerald Empire Band absolutely blew us away. We hired their 7-person band after hearing them perform live and they brought such tremendous talent and energy with them. Their performance of Ms. Jackson has been posted by like half the guests in attendance with comments like “greatest of all time.” There are certain things you remember about weddings- “that wedding had such good food” or “such a beautiful venue.” We like to think that both those things are also true, but really we know our wedding will be known for that amazing band that will have our out-of-state engaged guests wondering if Emerald Empire Band does travel gigs! We worked with Justin from start to finish and he was so helpful and proactive in communicating with us, leaving us without any concerns ahead of time. We were just wowed and could not recommend them highly enough!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience with Emerald Empire! Not only do they sound incredible and know how to work the crowd, they are so organized and thorough! They played all the songs we wanted and then some - and didn't have a single one that wasn't an absolute jam! I got so many compliments on how amazing they were and wouldn't recommend anyone else!

Just WOW! One of my absolute must-haves for our wedding was a live band. I found this band through our vendor and after reading reviews decided they were it. We communicated with Cole leading up to the wedding and he listened to everything we wanted and delivered. We had a reserved a 7-piece band which included 1 vocalist and I mentioned it would be really great to have at least 1 male and 1 female vocalist if one of those individuals was also on another instrument so we wouldn't have to sacrifice any pieces. Not only did he do that, but we actually ended up with 2 male and 1 female vocalists! I realized we needed add-ons in the last month and adding those was quick and easy. It rained all day leading up to the ceremony and we weren't able to set up the speaker for the ceremony outside. The band was so helpful in coming up with an alternative that protected their equipment but still gave us ceremony music and mics. I would've never known this wasn't the original plan had I not been the bride. We had a few songs we definitely wanted played for the reception and gave them the reigns to decide on everything else. We made the right move because our dance floor was packed from the start until the very end! I even asked them to play 2 songs mid-reception and I'm SO glad I did because they killed it! I could've listened to them all night. Worth every single penny we spent (which also was extremely reasonable and realistic after researching 20+ bands). Amazing talent, great song selections, professional, easy to work with, and committed to giving you exactly what you want. Everything you could ask for in a wedding band. You literally can't be disappointed if you go with this band!

I can’t say enough good things about Emerald Empire Band! Everything was seamless with them, from booking to finalizing day-of details. We ended up going with an 8 piece band where we had 2 play during the ceremony, 3 play during cocktail hour and then all 8 for the reception and it was absolutely perfect. After our wedding, everyone told us how much fun the band was and we couldn’t agree more! I 100% recommend them for your wedding.

Beyond thrilled with Emerald Empire! We had them perform with the 9-piece ensemble for our wedding this past weekend. Justin (our point-of-contact) was great throughout the entire process, very responsive, and we had the pleasure of having him as an MC at the event. Their website is great, booking and song selection is easy, and the contract portion is clearly laid out. At the event, they magically appeared, set everything up, with no-hand-holding required on the wedding party's part. Our guests could not stop raving about how amazing the band was! The band is spirited, talented, and has that panache that keeps the party going. They have performers that can play in any style you can think of, so you can customize your playlist to your exact tastes. You got songs you don't want played? No problem, they will curate your playlist while leaving room for some welcome surprises. Is this the cheapest option? No, but for the value and skill you're getting, it's priced right. Why would you want a lame band at your special event? Choose Emerald Empire if you suck at wedding planning but still want to have an amazing event. A big "thank you" for partying in the shire with us! More pictures forthcoming :)

Emerald Empire is the best!! Our guests couldn't stop raving about how fantastic the band was and it completely made our reception. The dance floor was packed all night and they chose a wide range of songs, starting off with songs everyone knows, and moving younger throughout the night. The entire planning process was seamless as well.

Kelly, our event manager, was incredible helpful making sure every detail was perfect for our wedding day. He was in constant communication with us, making sure that the band was the easiest thing on our wedding check list! On the wedding day, the band was incredibly professional, and curated a playlist and live songs that truly matched our personalities. Our guests enjoyed interacting and having fun with the band. They MC’d perfectly as well, bringing excitement and energy to the room. I definitely recommend Emerald Empire Band!
