Every small detail we requested, including an Avicii intro accompanied by the sax, was executed on flawlessly! No one left the dance floor, which was exactly what we hoped for. They were better than we could have imagined, and has been the most complimented part of the wedding! Thank you Andy for putting together an all star crew, we are so grateful!

t know where to start... I did research and came across Emerald Empire Band! I reached out and heard back immediately. I knew this was the right choice. David was so communicative, attentive and understanding with me (as I was very new to this). I never once was stressed about who what when and where when it came to this band. I knew they were absolute professionals, and I trusted them with it all!! David was so helpful when we were curating the timeline of this corporate event... he even helped me figure out timing with catering and etc! It's the little things like that, that are so appreciated especially as someone new to planning. The day of the event David was early and so helpful with all things whether it related to the band or not. He also checked in many times if I was doing okay and making sure, I wasn't stressed. I LOVE this because I am so adamant about treating everyone like humans even when we are supposed to be "professional". The right thing to do is always check in on people, so that meant a lot to me. But, this band was amazing. Every band member was joyful and passionate about what they do. The music was curated so nicely to our group and honestly I loved them so much I wish they could've just got off the stage and danced with us all night! I heard so many compliments from my employees it was overwhelming!!! I am so grateful to have stumbled upon such a lovely band and group of people. I couldn't recommend them more for ANY occasion.

Aisha is so organized and good at her job - not only did our reception programming end up ahead of schedule (!!!!) but she had extra makeup to fix a bridal emergency ! The whole group had awesome energy and were generally great to have around. They let us request songs but also cleared guest requests with us where appropriate. We had literally dozens of people tell us they were the best band they’ve ever seen at a wedding. They get the party going and read the crowd so well!!!

We had guests who had larger bands for their own weddings and they consistentlly told us Emerald Empire was doing more with 6 than other bands are doing with 10-12+. The group was SO much fun and truly kept the party going all night long. We also chose to have the band perform our first dance songs live, which was an amazing touch. . We got the 9 piece band which came with lead singer, sax, trombone, horn, drums, guitar, bass, drummer and keyboard. Someone at the wedding said they also had the same band at their wedding a while back but got the 4 piece band. They said there was a huge difference in the 4 piece vs the 9 piece. We had people here in Charleston for my daughter's wedding from all over the country (NYC, LA, New Orleans) and they were all very impressed. Aiesha (sp) was the lead singer. She was high energy and had a huge smile on her face all night. My main concern going into the wedding day was the band would not be up to speed on all the things they were to do for the wedding. For example they played for the ceremony, the cocktail hour and the reception. Each of these involved different band member playing specific songs. But they nailed it. The dance floor was rocking all night. My only regret is I wish I had opted for the extra lights for the band. That is an option we did not pay for. More lights would have showed the band off better than the standard lights they brought. If you are looking to book and band, hire these guys. I cannot say enough good things about them!

and if possible the female vocalist got even better as the night went on. Step aside Whitney Houston and I’m not kidding. We hired the 8 piece band which I would highly recommended, sax, trombone, trumpet, drums, keyboard, vocalist, bass and electric guitar. All member were vocally sound and completely in tune/pitch perfect. We dealt with Ward who was a delight and so easy to work with. Our guests, which are always your biggest critics, can’t stop talking about how amazing “the band” was. Don’t look any further, I promise you, you will not be disappointed!

nd we could not have asked for a better music experience! They learned our first dance song and did an outstanding job choosing songs throughout the night. We used them for the ceremony and reception. They have an online planning page that is easy and great to use to plan/communicate with the band before the big day. Many of our guests throughout the night commented how great the band sounded. They definitely set a great vibe for the night! Ward was also great to work with.

and our special day. The band performed all of our suggested songs and did a wonderful job MCing the whole reception. The energy the band members had was contagious and kept the dance floor packed the entire night! The way they interacted with our guests was so inviting, so much so one of our friends took a turn on the mic! Overall I cannot recommend Emerald Empire Band enough! We recommend Emerald Empire as a wedding band! They put on our ceremony audio, ceremony music and cocktail hour, creating the exact ambiance we dreamed of.
They interviewed us to...
understand the vibe, venue layout, attire, what equipment to bring, and songs to play.
At our request, they learned several little-known songs for the ceremony, performing them perfectly. They balanced the audio of the ceremony, so the entire audience could hear, despite being in a long, narrow courtyard.
They converted to a 3-piece jazz band for the cocktail hour with easy, creating a classy black-tie vibe to kick off the evening.
Overall, Emerald Empire is a great choice. They are experienced, professional, and reliable, and we can’t recommend them enough for your event!

ard was nothing short of amazing as he knew that both my husband and I were musicians and were particular on what we were looking for. He helped find us the best musicians and singers for our 5 piece band for the reception and a jazz pianist for our cocktail hour. The band sounded amazing, kept the energy going, got everyone on the dance floor and even got my husband and I to sing with them on stage. It was an amazing experience and the musicians and singers were phenomenal and had great synergy between them! We were so amazed that we were able to get everything sorted under the week and it was a huge success. All our guests loved the music and the band! They were fantastic!
