Emerald Empire band was next level!! The dance floor was on fire allll night long. All of our guests had nothing but amazing things to say about our band!! They sang the best songs and sounded sooo good! We has personalized music for some dances and they pulled it off without a hitch! They made the night so much fun! A night we will never forget!

AMAZING band...book them for your event or wedding! The ceremony, cocktail hour & reception had the most beautiful music. Our guests danced all night! We had a wonderful experience with Emerald Empire Band! They did the pre-recorded music for our ceremony, live jazz trio for cocktail hour and live band for our reception. They took the time to learn what we wanted and create a stellar performance. Everyone commented on how much they loved the band and they kept everyone on the dance floor. They are professional, on time, and over detail-oriented and dedicated to creating a perfect experience for your wedding. If you’re getting married in one of their cities you MUST BOOK THIS BAND. They were amazing from start to finish. For starters, they’re incredibly talented musicians. More than that they had an amazing mix of letting us pick the music and keeping the party going. Aisha is so organized and good at her job - not only did our reception programming end up ahead of schedule (!!!!) but she had extra makeup to fix a bridal emergency ! The whole group had awesome energy and were generally great to have around. They let us request songs but also cleared guest requests with us where appropriate. We had literally dozens of people tell us they were the best band they’ve ever seen at a wedding. They get the party going and read the crowd so well!!!

LOOK NO FURTHER! Hiring Emerald Empire Band was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had 2 piece ceremony musicians, jazz trio for cocktail hour, and then 6 piece band for our ceremony. The band is the number one thing that guests have been complimenting us on. We had guests who had larger bands for their own weddings and they consistentlly told us Emerald Empire was doing more with 6 than other bands are doing with 10-12+. The group was SO much fun and truly kept the party going all night long. We also chose to have the band perform our first dance songs live, which was an amazing touch. Ward was so easy to work with leading up to the event, and made us feel so comfortable. I could not recommend Emerald Empire more highly!!

Awesome! Worth every penny! Ward was very organized and answered all of our questions about the different options that are available. We had a jazz trio for the cocktail reception and full band for the reception. Every guest had the same thing to say--"That band is great! So much fun!" We danced the night away and had a blast.

We got so many compliments on the band and how talented they were. It was so much fun to have a live band play and it really helped get our guests up and moving - you couldn’t help it! It was so much fun interacting with them. Pricing is very comparable to other bands in the area (trust me, I looked at all of them) and was worth every worry! If you are looking for talented musicians who can bring a lot of fun to your wedding, look no further!! The band was nothing short of AMAZING! Very professional. Every song they played sounded like the real, actual artist. Many people told me they were the best band they ever heard. We got the 9 piece band which came with lead singer, sax, trombone, horn, drums, guitar, bass, drummer and keyboard. Someone at the wedding said they also had the same band at their wedding a while back but got the 4 piece band. They said there was a huge difference in the 4 piece vs the 9 piece. We had people here in Charleston for my daughter's wedding from all over the country (NYC, LA, New Orleans) and they were all very impressed. Aiesha (sp) was the lead singer. She was high energy and had a huge smile on her face all night. My main concern going into the wedding day was the band would not be up to speed on all the things they were to do for the wedding. For example they played for the ceremony, the cocktail hour and the reception. Each of these involved different band member playing specific songs. But they nailed it. The dance floor was rocking all night. My only regret is I wish I had opted for the extra lights for the band. That is an option we did not pay for. More lights would have showed the band off better than the standard lights they brought. If you are looking to book and band, hire these guys. I cannot say enough good things about them!

Hire Emerald Empire band!! They were absolutely incredible - they know how to play a lot of songs, and our guests were dancing all night long. Andy, the band manager, was great to work with leading up to the wedding, answering all my questions and providing information and details needed for our wedding day. We couldn’t have chosen a better band to play on our wedding day. Emerald Empire Band rocked the house from start to finish. The dance floor was filled to capacity for every song and if possible the female vocalist got even better as the night went on. Step aside Whitney Houston and I’m not kidding. We hired the 8 piece band which I would highly recommended, sax, trombone, trumpet, drums, keyboard, vocalist, bass and electric guitar. All member were vocally sound and completely in tune/pitch perfect. We dealt with Ward who was a delight and so easy to work with. Our guests, which are always your biggest critics, can’t stop talking about how amazing “the band” was. Don’t look any further, I promise you, you will not be disappointed!

Emerald Empire played at our wedding in Pawley's Island June 2022. We booked them because I had seen them play at a friends wedding a couple of years earlier. They were amazing and we could not have asked for a better music experience! They learned our first dance song and did an outstanding job choosing songs throughout the night. We used them for the ceremony and reception. They have an online planning page that is easy and great to use to plan/communicate with the band before the big day. Many of our guests throughout the night commented how great the band sounded. They definitely set a great vibe for the night! Ward was also great to work with.

Words cannot describe how AMAZING Emerald Empire Band was on our wedding day. From day one being in contact with Mike we felt very confident that they would be a perfect fit for us and our special day. The band performed all of our suggested songs and did a wonderful job MCing the whole reception. The energy the band members had was contagious and kept the dance floor packed the entire night! The way they interacted with our guests was so inviting, so much so one of our friends took a turn on the mic! Overall I cannot recommend Emerald Empire Band enough! We recommend Emerald Empire as a wedding band! They put on our ceremony audio, ceremony music and cocktail hour, creating the exact ambiance we dreamed of. They interviewed us to understand the vibe, venue layout, attire, what equipment to bring, and songs to play. At our request, they learned several little-known songs for the ceremony, performing them perfectly. They balanced the audio of the ceremony, so the entire audience could hear, despite being in a long, narrow courtyard. They converted to a 3-piece jazz band for the cocktail hour with easy, creating a classy black-tie vibe to kick off the evening. Overall, Emerald Empire is a great choice. They are experienced, professional, and reliable, and we can’t recommend them enough for your event!

Our friend's band we initially planned for our wedding had to cancel the week before due to an injury and we were left running frantic to find someone to fill in for our wedding. Ward was nothing short of amazing as he knew that both my husband and I were musicians and were particular on what we were looking for. He helped find us the best musicians and singers for our 5 piece band for the reception and a jazz pianist for our cocktail hour. The band sounded amazing, kept the energy going, got everyone on the dance floor and even got my husband and I to sing with them on stage. Incredible value -- unmatched musicians -- cannot say enough about Ward and his team! The string quartet was beautiful, and they went so far as to arrange a piece of music for my wife to walk down the aisle. The Jazz trio got the party started and set the stage for the full band later that night. The 7 piece band was perfect -- singers, guitarist, drums, and SAX were all perfect.

They were super easy to work with during the planning process as well- they made suggestions based on what we would actually need not what was best for them or would make them the most money. Additionally, they were flexible- when our guests had requests, they accommodated them easily. Would totally recommend using this band! Thank you!

Emerald Empire Band was amazing! I can’t tell you how many compliments I received about how talented they were. They truly made our wedding night fun and a night I will never forget. Richard was incredible to work with from start to finish and was always quick to respond to any questions I had. From the quartet during the ceremony, to the jazz played for cocktail hour, to the main even at the reception- I could not recommend them more.

Aisha and the Emerald Empire Band were AMAZING. Everything about their style was exactly what we wanted. They did our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception - and it was all flawless. Aisha was so much fun and my only complaint is that I can't hang out with her regularly :) If you're looking for amazing live music and easy to work with people - look no further. EEB is the best!

Emerald empire is absolutely incredible. Mike and the group are supremely talented, very professional, and will be exactly what you need them to be on your big day. We could not have asked for a better choice going with Emerald Empire. Leading up to the event they are extremely good at communicating and getting the details right. Mike was easy to get a hold of anytime we had questions. The cost was very competitive and worth every penny. Overall our experience with Emerald Empire was 5 stars out of 5.

The band was fantastic from start to finish! They set up early so that there was no noise upstairs while our wedding ceremony was downstairs. They tried to accommodate all of our requests! Everyone loved the music and danced all night!

We had EEB for our wedding on June 4th and they absolutely KILLED it. The dance floor was packed from start to finish and everyone was asking about them days after the wedding. My husband ended up with his shirt off on the dance floor he was having so much fun! Ward was so helpful and leading up to the event and made the booking process super easy. I'm so happy i went with them for our band and would highly recommend them if you're searching for a band in Charleston!

There are not enough words to explain how amazing EEB was for our wedding day!!! Richard was a GEM to work with. He was so responsive and made the entire planning process so easy! We included a song recommendation line on our RSVP cards and Richard looked over all 200 of them and added some to the bands playlist. The musicians on the day of were beyond talented. They went from ceremony classical to cocktail hour jazz to reception party hits. They were all so kind and truly brought the party! Liam and Zach we’re a great lead singer duo! EEB made our wedding one of the very best. Hire them!!!

WOW! Where to start with our review of EEB? They were a massive hit at our wedding at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens in Charleston. We hired them for our strings ceremony music, jazz trio for cocktail hour, and 5 pc band for the reception. Each part was absolutely perfect. The band manager Ward was helpful every step of the way! We are from NY but planning with them out of state was not a problem at all! The whole experience was a perfect balance of sharing our ideas but also being guided in the right direction. They were the absolute hit of the night from start to finish. The ceremony music was magical and they had everyone up on the dance floor. We never wanted the night to end thanks to EEB! Thank you for everything and we couldn't recommend them more! We can't wait to come back to Charleston and catch a liveshowcase

We always knew the band was the most important part of our wedding but Emerald Empire blew us away! We had so many guests tell us they were the best band they had ever heard at a wedding. We planned our wedding in 5 months and they helped make things easy getting lighting, MC, ceremony music, ceremony AV/mics, and reception music all through them and they did an AMAZING job.

We hired Emerald Empire Band for our wedding, and they knocked it out of the park! From start to finish, they were a dream to work with in regards to planning, making suggestions, and making sure that everything was exactly how we wanted. They are so professional and were incredibly entertaining. I spoke with the manager several times and he was always so helpful to try to make sure they understood how we wanted everything to flow. 10/10 recommend!

The Emerald Empire Band were absolutely wonderful. Their song selection fit perfectly with the type of wedding we had. My husband and I spent most of the night on the dance floor and he does not usually like to dance. Our guests also commented to us on how great they were. They set the right atmosphere for the evening. We highly recommend them.

The Emerald Empire Band is honestly the greatest band to have at your wedding! We hired them for our daughters wedding and it was the greatest decision we made. From the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception they kept all our guests totally engaged. All of our guests commented on their amazing talent and their high energy. Our guests danced the night away and the dance floor was always full. The band is incredibly friendly and so easy to work with. We highly recommend this band and can't thank them enough for bringing so much talent to the wedding.

This band... there are not enough compliments I could give them. The talent is amazing, energy is unmatchable. All of our guests stayed the whole night to dance and sing with them. I have one singular regret from my wedding that has been keeping me up at night, and it is that I DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH TIME WITH THE EMERALD EMPIRE BAND!!!! I wish I would have a scratched all the speeches and told people to eat faster and instead listen to them perform!!! They brought all the energy, all the talent, all the vibes, everything we wanted and more. They did our reception, our ceremony music and rented us their sound system because we used a family member to officiate who did not have any equipments. They were easy to work with and affordable. I really truly can not say enough about them. Thanks so much Emerald Empire!
