Janice, the owner, was SO kind and responsive throughout the whole process. She was a pleasure to talk to and clearly cares a lot about the couples she works with. Unfortunately, our wedding date wasn’t available—but if it had been, Emerald Ridge would’ve been a top contender. If you’re looking for a scenic, relaxed venue with a warm, personal feel, we absolutely recommend checking it out!

Paul drove us around on his golf cart and happily answered all of our questions and put us at ease. We hired Malorie as our “month of” wedding coordinator and we’re extremely pleased that we did! She’s clearly an expert when it comes to the property and the wedding planning/execution process. On the day of our wedding she went above and beyond to make us feel as special and comfortable as possible! Mason and Taylor were also extremely accommodating and hard working. The entire staff was incredibly genuine and kind to us and our guests. We highly recommend booking the “No Stress Wedding Weekend” package and adding Thursday night to get the full experience of feeling right at home. Emerald Ridge has a vast inventory of decorations which allowed us to travel lightly from out of town. Emerald Ridge has a focus on keeping their property naturally beautiful and respecting the environment, which we very much appreciated. We truly could not have asked for a better wedding experience! We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts.

Janice, Paul, and Mason are lovely and made any necessary paperwork a breeze to get through. They're communication is so on point, I never once felt stressed about planning or making payments. Once they lead us through everything Emerald Ridge had to offer, we would have been crazy not to select it as our wedding venue with the no rush weekend package! As an exceptionally busy couple, we truly appreciated their flexibility and experience as a well established wedding venue. We chose to add on full wedding planner services with Malorie for our big day. Malorie is an absolute joy to work with and set up regular meetings with us virtually since we did not live in Asheville. She is very well organized and makes all the decisions leading up to your wedding day a breeze. She made wonderful suggestions for vendors and sent reminders to keep us on track. If you're on the fence about getting a wedding planner, I can promise you that hiring Malorie is well worth it. A wedding can be stressful to plan at times but I can honestly say that having Malorie there through the planning process and on the day of helped us have a stress-free day where everything went so smoothly I almost couldn't believe it. The venue itself offers almost everything you could need or want to create a beautiful wedding event, from the gorgeous scenery to tables and decorations. It was amazing to not have to worry about renting anything additional for our sepcial day. We got so many complements from guests about how beautiful and unique Emerald Ridge was and that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had been to. Finally, Paul, Mason and the other staff were there with us every step of the way to ensure everything was ready for our events and it was all arranged exactly as we wanted. They were exceptionally communicative and listened to what we wanted and made it happen. We are so happy that we chose Emerald Ridge for our wedding day and we hope to schedule another event with them in the future for other celebrations and anniversaries!

Our whole wedding weekend was a dream and we couldn't have done it without the support of the folks at Emerald Ridge. We found ERF on the knot and reached out. From the moment we started corresponding it felt like there was a personal touch. We were delighted on our tour to see the vintage china, ceremony location, the built in rain tent, and the chairs and tables that were included in the weekend package. Everyone at our wedding kept saying how beautiful the venue is and how kind and thoughtful the staff is. We feel so lucky to have celebrated our nuptials here!!

The accommodations at the venue were perfectly homey for the weekend and we felt confident, regardless of weather conditions, the venue had great options for all scenarios for our wedding. The venue provides many different features to allow a variety of ceremony, cocktail hours, reception, and photography options that we were able to set up exactly as we desired for our wedding size. Our initial wedding guest count was expected to be 70 but we dropped down to about 35. We had lots of open space (which worked well for our design/vision) but it still felt very cozy with the setup job the team did. The team provided exceptional service in finalizing decor/arrangements on the days leading up to our wedding as well as to our guests throughout our entire celebration. We really felt like we were treated as family by the team which made the whole weekend all the more special. We also loved that it was highly accessible to Downtown Weaverville and Asheville for our guests to have options of where to stay on their visit to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Their package is truly all inclusive (including decor) and there are multiple areas to utilize — the barn, tent, tree, the deck. They have great add-ons like coordination and setup/cleanup. Malorie (our coordinator) was an absolute delight to work with and we don’t know what we would have done without her. She made our vision come to life! The owners and staff were awesome and attentive as well. We will spend a lifetime looking back on our special day and will always have the fondest memories of Emerald Ridge Farm!

h is perfectly named. We never felt rushed and it was so wonderful to have the house to be based out of for the weekend. All of the china and decorations they have are gorgeous and the venue itself is stunning. They think of everything and take so much off your plate, each step of the way. It is evident the owners and staff at Emerald Ridge care deeply about each wedding they have there. Our day was absolutely perfect!!

The weather didn’t exactly cooperate with us but they made the experience for us and our guests wonderful regardless. They brought out heaters and still made the time we had memorable. They engaged with guests and made Sure everything went as smoothly as possible. We were sad when we had to leave as we felt they were like family by the time of our departure. They took all precautions to make sure we and our guests were safe and comfortable as well as going above and beyond all expectations. We checked out several venues before this one but as soon as we met Janice, we knew we had found the perfect spot. She really made us feel number one and made sure our visions and dreams came alive. I highly recommend this spot and these people for your special day or any event really. We also chose the weekend package and the house we stayed in was beautiful, well kept and comfortable. You won’t regret going with Emerald Ridge! We want to Have another event just so we can come back! Thanks guys! You were amazing.

The highlights of ER are the people, the location (natural beauty as well as proximity to AVL), and the incredible amount of added value with not having to use a party rental company . The owners Janice, Mason and Paul are friendly and communicative, as well as being attentive venue hosts the day of making sure all the furniture and other features were where we planned. They ensured the grounds looked great as well. Not having to rent ceremony or reception furniture, party lights, or any dishes or table linens, dance floor, propane heaters, covered tent ceremony backup location already setup, and more, saved on cost as well as logistics (the prices have increased from 2021 to 2022 but I still believe it to be a great value!). The vintage plates are a beautiful touch as well, pieces of functional decor. We also borrowed vintage decor and furniture such as a beautiful wooden sweetheart table and card/gift and catering tables. The renovated barn is perfect for your reception, being covered but outdoor, guests enjoyed the space and the views (and the swings and fire pit!). Malorie, the planning professional affiliated with the venue is who you want on your team so be sure to book with her. She is thorough, patient, tactful, creative, organized, and a clear direct communicator. Having Malorie as my coordinator significantly reduced stress levels as she helped me navigate all the details large and small that I didn’t consider or had underestimated. She has a talent for event planning, making your priorities for the day her own, and high level of professionalism. On the day of the wedding I was able to enjoy myself worry-free as Malorie seamlessly facilitated the event according to the timeline she helped me create. Thank you to the Emerald Ridge team!!

made up our minds. We were over the moon about the help from the staff, services offered, beautiful scenery and decor, and the kindness of the owners who helped us organize everything. If you want a simple yet fairytale wedding look NO further. The location is stunning and not hard to get to. And the mountains/trees serve as your background you hardly need decorations. They have an entire room filled with dishes, glassware, tablecloths and runners, vases and votives, literally everything you'd spend hundreds of dollars on for your wedding but available to you at no cost. The scenery, available decor, and kind owners really sealed the deal for us. I highly, highly recommend having your wedding here! It was absolutely perfect.

The venue made clear that they help set up all the "heavy stuff" (chairs, tables, big decor) and do not do small things like flowers, placement setting, etc (which is usually where a planner or coordinator comes in. Pretty Standard). The Groom dropped the ball for his soon to be bride, because instead of him decorating for the rehearsal dinner (like he promised to his bride) he instead hung out with his friends and was extremely "hydrated" by the time the rehearsal came around. Despite this, the venue and their staff saved they day, and decorated for him, DESPITE the fact that they weren't suppose to do that. Already, most other venues that I have been to in the past do not help nearly that much, much less having people that capable being onsite (other venues I have been to, when I ask them where something is, have said "I dont know"). Not convinced yet? Well they next day, the couple also forgot to mention an additional 30 EXTRA PEOPLE that were coming for the ceremony and reception dinner. In a flash, the venue and their staff got out extra chairs and tables for their guests. I have never seen staff members literally sprinting to try and provide that good of a service. Point is, besides lack of planning from their clients, this venue went ABOVE & BEYOND what they were suppose to do. I never write reviews for anywhere, however, this was the first time I have been at awe in terms of the supreme quality of service, thinking ahead, planning, and responsiveness of a business. I can say without a doubt, that ERF is one of, if not the best, wedding venue in the Asheville area in all the categories I just spoke of. Do yourself a favor, make your life easy, and book here. Would rate 10 out of 10 Stars if possible
