I recently had the pleasure of visiting Emerald Ridge, and I can confidently say this place is a hidden gem! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. Janice and her team are incredibly warm, professional and were truly dedicated to providing the best throughout the entire tour. They took the time to walk us through all of their packages, ensuring we understood every aspect of their services and amenities available. It's evident that they genuinely care about the well-being and comfort of their guests.

My boyfriend and I attended a wedding here in June 2023 and had such a magical time. Between the gorgeous property, the seamless transitions between events, and the relaxed atmosphere... we were so impressed! I would 10/10 recommend booking them for an event!

Emerald Ridge and its wonderful staff ensured our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more. Every single space on this property is beautiful and the built in contingency spaces in the case of rain eased any concerns we had about our special day. I really can't say enough about this venue and it's staff. Janice, Paul, and Mason are lovely and made any necessary paperwork a breeze to get through. They're communication is so on point, I never once felt stressed about planning or making payments. Once they lead us through everything Emerald Ridge had to offer, we would have been crazy not to select it as our wedding venue with the no rush weekend package! As an exceptionally busy couple, we truly appreciated their flexibility and experience as a well established wedding venue. We chose to add on full wedding planner services with Malorie for our big day. Malorie is an absolute joy to work with and set up regular meetings with us virtually since we did not live in Asheville. She is very well organized and makes all the decisions leading up to your wedding day a breeze. She made wonderful suggestions for vendors and sent reminders to keep us on track. If you're on the fence about getting a wedding planner, I can promise you that hiring Malorie is well worth it. A wedding can be stressful to plan at times but I can honestly say that having Malorie there through the planning process and on the day of helped us have a stress-free day where everything went so smoothly I almost couldn't believe it. The venue itself offers almost everything you could need or want to create a beautiful wedding event, from the gorgeous scenery to tables and decorations. It was amazing to not have to worry about renting anything additional for our sepcial day. We got so many complements from guests about how beautiful and unique Emerald Ridge was and that it was one of the most beautiful weddings they had been to. Finally, Paul, Mason and the other staff were there with us every step of the way to ensure everything was ready for our events and it was all arranged exactly as we wanted. They were exceptionally communicative and listened to what we wanted and made it happen. We are so happy that we chose Emerald Ridge for our wedding day and we hope to schedule another event with them in the future for other celebrations and anniversaries!

My fiancé and I toured Emerald Ridge and it was a delight. We loved Janice’s flexibility and professionalism. While we decided on another venue because of our total headcount, we would have gone with this space easily!

This is the most incredible venue!!! The Emerald Ridge team are some of the most spectacular folks I've ever met! I could gush for hours about how awesome this place is! I can't say enough great things about Janice, Paul, and Mason. And they have the absolute BEST wedding coordinator Malorie! Our whole wedding weekend was a dream and we couldn't have done it without the support of the folks at Emerald Ridge. We found ERF on the knot and reached out. From the moment we started corresponding it felt like there was a personal touch. We were delighted on our tour to see the vintage china, ceremony location, the built in rain tent, and the chairs and tables that were included in the weekend package. Everyone at our wedding kept saying how beautiful the venue is and how kind and thoughtful the staff is. We feel so lucky to have celebrated our nuptials here!!

If I could give them a million stars I would! I cannot say enough about the staff and venue. From our first tour with Mallory, we were sold! She went through every single detail with us and helped us make the BEST choice. This venue has it all but what definitely blew us away was the staff. Janice the owner is amazing and so communicative. She answered any and all our questions and was always checking in to make sure we had the best experience. Paul and Mason were amazing during our whole wedding weekend. Anything we needed they were there as a great resource to our vendors. I know wedding planning can be daunting at times but having a venue like Emerald Ridge helped make the process easy and so so memorable. I cannot thank them enough! You will not go wrong with having them on your team!

The team at Emerald Ridge Farm (ERF) was absolutely awesome throughout contracting, planning, and execution of our wedding. We were looking for a relaxed, intimate setting for our wedding and the No Rush Weekend at ERF checked all the boxes for us. The accommodations at the venue were perfectly homey for the weekend and we felt confident, regardless of weather conditions, the venue had great options for all scenarios for our wedding. The venue provides many different features to allow a variety of ceremony, cocktail hours, reception, and photography options that we were able to set up exactly as we desired for our wedding size. Our initial wedding guest count was expected to be 70 but we dropped down to about 35. We had lots of open space (which worked well for our design/vision) but it still felt very cozy with the setup job the team did. The team provided exceptional service in finalizing decor/arrangements on the days leading up to our wedding as well as to our guests throughout our entire celebration. We really felt like we were treated as family by the team which made the whole weekend all the more special. We also loved that it was highly accessible to Downtown Weaverville and Asheville for our guests to have options of where to stay on their visit to the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Our wedding at Emerald Ridge Farm was absolutely lovely! From the very first tour to post-wedding cleanup, the entire experience was wonderful. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and we got so many compliments! There are beautiful flowers, spectacular mountain views , and COWS! Their package is truly all inclusive (including decor) and there are multiple areas to utilize — the barn, tent, tree, the deck. They have great add-ons like coordination and setup/cleanup. Malorie (our coordinator) was an absolute delight to work with and we don’t know what we would have done without her. She made our vision come to life! The owners and staff were awesome and attentive as well. We will spend a lifetime looking back on our special day and will always have the fondest memories of Emerald Ridge Farm!

I cannot recommend this venue enough! I was totally blown aware at the care they put into each aspect of the planning and the day of. I am so happy we did the no-rush weekend, which is perfectly named. We never felt rushed and it was so wonderful to have the house to be based out of for the weekend. All of the china and decorations they have are gorgeous and the venue itself is stunning. They think of everything and take so much off your plate, each step of the way. It is evident the owners and staff at Emerald Ridge care deeply about each wedding they have there. Our day was absolutely perfect!!

Where do I start?! The venue itself was spectacular, beautiful views, amazing space and Janice, Paul and Mason went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. They helped us set up, checked in on us periodically without smothering us and made us feel like family. The weather didn’t exactly cooperate with us but they made the experience for us and our guests wonderful regardless. They brought out heaters and still made the time we had memorable. They engaged with guests and made Sure everything went as smoothly as possible. We were sad when we had to leave as we felt they were like family by the time of our departure. They took all precautions to make sure we and our guests were safe and comfortable as well as going above and beyond all expectations. We checked out several venues before this one but as soon as we met Janice, we knew we had found the perfect spot. She really made us feel number one and made sure our visions and dreams came alive. I highly recommend this spot and these people for your special day or any event really. We also chose the weekend package and the house we stayed in was beautiful, well kept and comfortable. You won’t regret going with Emerald Ridge! We want to Have another event just so we can come back! Thanks guys! You were amazing.

This venue had amazing views of the mountains and was super close to downtown Asheville. Mason, Janice, and Mallory were so helpful and made themselves available throughout the night. Overall, a great experience!

This venue was beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I wasn't out to get married on a farm but was instead looking for a great outdoor view of the mountains. This was the place with the best view that I found, that would also fit my wedding party. Venue aside, what really made this a great experience were Janice and Paul. They really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for us. They were kind and super helpful and welcomed us like family. I can't recommend them enough! Shout out to Stoli for making my white dress on a white horse dreams come true!

Our experience with Emerald Ridge was so seamless. The setting is beautiful and they have sooo much stuff you can use without extra cost (heaters, corn hole boards, dining ware, decor, and more!). We loved the flexibility and options that Emerald Ridge had to offer us. Highly recommend!

I got married at Emerald Ridge in October 2021 and my husband and I couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience. Many guests also commented on how wonderful the venue is. The highlights of ER are the people, the location (natural beauty as well as proximity to AVL), and the incredible amount of added value with not having to use a party rental company . The owners Janice, Mason and Paul are friendly and communicative, as well as being attentive venue hosts the day of making sure all the furniture and other features were where we planned. They ensured the grounds looked great as well. Not having to rent ceremony or reception furniture, party lights, or any dishes or table linens, dance floor, propane heaters, covered tent ceremony backup location already setup, and more, saved on cost as well as logistics (the prices have increased from 2021 to 2022 but I still believe it to be a great value!). The vintage plates are a beautiful touch as well, pieces of functional decor. We also borrowed vintage decor and furniture such as a beautiful wooden sweetheart table and card/gift and catering tables. The renovated barn is perfect for your reception, being covered but outdoor, guests enjoyed the space and the views (and the swings and fire pit!). Malorie, the planning professional affiliated with the venue is who you want on your team so be sure to book with her. She is thorough, patient, tactful, creative, organized, and a clear direct communicator. Having Malorie as my coordinator significantly reduced stress levels as she helped me navigate all the details large and small that I didn’t consider or had underestimated. She has a talent for event planning, making your priorities for the day her own, and high level of professionalism. On the day of the wedding I was able to enjoy myself worry-free as Malorie seamlessly facilitated the event according to the timeline she helped me create. Thank you to the Emerald Ridge team!!

AMAZING. This one word can describe my entire experience with Emerald Ridge Farm. The venue is beautiful with views for days and the Emerald family is so welcoming and kind and responsive and helpful and every other word you can think of to describe amazing. I highly recommend having Emerald Ridge as your anything venue - I wish I could get married all over again just to be there.

My husband and I recently tied the knot at Emerald Ridge and our expectations were exceeded to say the least. This was the ONLY venue we looked at and within 5 mins of our tour we made up our minds. We were over the moon about the help from the staff, services offered, beautiful scenery and decor, and the kindness of the owners who helped us organize everything. If you want a simple yet fairytale wedding look NO further. The location is stunning and not hard to get to. And the mountains/trees serve as your background you hardly need decorations. They have an entire room filled with dishes, glassware, tablecloths and runners, vases and votives, literally everything you'd spend hundreds of dollars on for your wedding but available to you at no cost. The scenery, available decor, and kind owners really sealed the deal for us. I highly, highly recommend having your wedding here! It was absolutely perfect.

Perfect combo of nature with modern amenities. Classy space overlooking the mountains of Western North Carolina, with everything you would need to be comfortable will combined with views for miles. Luxurious only begins to describe it.

So...I was a guest at a wedding here not too long ago. I have to say, that I am blown away by Emerald Ridge Farm. This venue and their staff are incredible. Here is why: I was a part of the wedding party where the couple was...particular. The venue made clear that they help set up all the "heavy stuff" (chairs, tables, big decor) and do not do small things like flowers, placement setting, etc (which is usually where a planner or coordinator comes in. Pretty Standard). The Groom dropped the ball for his soon to be bride, because instead of him decorating for the rehearsal dinner (like he promised to his bride) he instead hung out with his friends and was extremely "hydrated" by the time the rehearsal came around. Despite this, the venue and their staff saved they day, and decorated for him, DESPITE the fact that they weren't suppose to do that. Already, most other venues that I have been to in the past do not help nearly that much, much less having people that capable being onsite (other venues I have been to, when I ask them where something is, have said "I dont know"). Not convinced yet? Well they next day, the couple also forgot to mention an additional 30 EXTRA PEOPLE that were coming for the ceremony and reception dinner. In a flash, the venue and their staff got out extra chairs and tables for their guests. I have never seen staff members literally sprinting to try and provide that good of a service. Point is, besides lack of planning from their clients, this venue went ABOVE & BEYOND what they were suppose to do. I never write reviews for anywhere, however, this was the first time I have been at awe in terms of the supreme quality of service, thinking ahead, planning, and responsiveness of a business. I can say without a doubt, that ERF is one of, if not the best, wedding venue in the Asheville area in all the categories I just spoke of. Do yourself a favor, make your life easy, and book here. Would rate 10 out of 10 Stars if possible

We had our 45 person wedding reception in the barn in August and my husband and I cannot recommend this place enough! Janice was incredibly accommodating and very responsive to emails. The staff on the day of the wedding were professional and the whole night went 100% according to plan! Our favorite aspect of this place is that the views are simply breathtaking. Best night of our lives all thanks to Emerald Ridge Farm and their wonderful staff!

FABULOUS!!! I don’t think you can get any better than this venue for an outdoor ceremony and barn reception for less than 200 people. Breathtaking scenery, even if you have inclement weather (we didn’t, but the plan was there). Fabulous cocktail space around the deck, wonderful barn space for a reception, and so many extras included (fire pits at the cocktail space and at the barn, swings and hammocks, use of LOTS of decor items included, etc). Janice, Paul and Mason are wonderful to work with and they go out of their way to help you plan and execute. This was the best wedding I ever attended and I don’t think you can do any better for a classic, rustic venue.

I had my wedding here in June 2021 and it was perfect! The location is beautiful and the proprietors were so kind and helpful in making our day everything we hoped.

This place is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. We did our vow renewal/wedding reception here. The views are breath taking and the staff was professional, friendly, and extremely accommodating. We couldn’t be happier with this choice of venue.

ERF had a great location, and wonderful staff. A truly cool and flexible space, with so much included that other venues charged extra for. Refreshing in such an industry where up charging and hidden fees are the norm. 5/5!!!!

I was a guest for a wedding in the past here. I love, love, LOVEEEE the open aired barn. The ridges of the mountains were always present in the background. Also, my mom, who is older, needed to be helped a few times that day, and the workers were always there and were so nice and accommodating. 5 stars, would recommend 1000 times over. A true view into North Carolina and some of the best the state and people have to offer

I was a guest at this venue, but I would live here if I could!!! The mountains all around are unreal. Love the look/feel of this place, with a modern rustic/boho chic vibe. Literally can't beat the view, 10/10!!!!

The location is amazing, the views are to die for. We knew we were in good hands with the staff. Janice, Paul, and Mason were always there, and constantly checking on if we needed anything. We didn't have to lift a finger. Was stress free, would do it again in a heart beat

Love the value this place provides. It's nearly all inclusive package for such a better value than some of the other venues initially toured. That combined with the closeness to downtown and the views, can not be beat. Absolutely spectacular, would recommend to everyone

This is the closest venue to downtown AVL, with mountain views (12 minute car ride). We wanted to go to Asheville afterwards, but all the other mountain venues were 30-45 minutes away. This is the place!!!!

All the other venues in the Asheville area are a joke, except for this place. We went to a wedding here, and the value they provide is insane. They throw in so much stuff FOR FREE that other places charge extra for. I don't want to worry about chairs, or tents, or anything else the day of, and they had us covered. All these extras too for wayyy less than any other place around. The closest place was a all inclusive venue, and they wanted $25,000 grand. ARE YOU CRAZY?! They better include a vaca to the Bahamas with that money. This place pretty much provided all that stuff the expensive venue did, all for $5,000. Save your time, save your headaches, and save your money. JUST GO TO EMERALD RIDGE FARM.

While planning a wedding was one of the most exciting things my husband and I have done together, it was also overwhelmingly emotional. We wanted it to be a perfect reflection of us and our relationship, with as little planning stress as possible. After multiple tours and venue searches, we feel incredibly lucky to have found Emerald Ridge Farm. Aside from the love between us and the family beside us, the team at Emerald Ridge was the next most influential factor in ensuring that our wedding weekend was everything we hoped it would be. Our priorities in selecting a venue were: finding a place we could enjoy for more than just one day, working with an involved and supportive staff, and being able to highlight the beauty of our home in North Carolina for our out-of-state guests. Emerald Ridge Farm had all of these qualities and more. They far exceeded our expectations in their planning and preparations for our special day. We know they were in the midst of caring and planning for other couples, but they made us feel like we were the only wedding on their minds. Their attention to detail, problem-solving, and positivity provided us with the sense of calm we craved throughout wedding planning, especially in 2020. On-site housing allowed us to have more precious time with our loved ones who were visiting. Multiple sites for our ceremony and reception (field, patio, deck, barn) allowed us to have stress-free back-up plans, which we were so grateful for when it poured rain the night and day leading up to our wedding. Shuttling from the parking area by the barn to the house for our rehearsal dinner and our ceremony was invaluable for our guests with mobility challenges, and due to uncertain weather conditions. The Emerald Ridge team was so present and attentive throughout the weekend that our guests and vendors are still commenting on their support, weeks after the wedding. While my husband and I were busy enjoying the reception, Paul noticed two of our seven-year-old guests were getting antsy waiting for cake-cutting. He offered to get them set up playing cornhole while they waited. During the planning stages, Janice was available by phone and in-person visit to problem-solve the newest pandemic-related change of plans. She met with our vendors in advance of the wedding to ensure seamless service on our wedding day. During the reception, she was able to snap photos of some of our more candid moments, for which we will be forever grateful. Throughout the planning process and weekend setup, Mason patiently ensured that we had everything we needed and frequently checked-in to make sure we were happy with how everything was going. As I am someone who likes to play an active role in planning, I was so grateful for his patience in allowing me to try out different seating and decor arrangements, move things around, and take my time to make a decision. In addition to maintaining a beautiful physical space, Janice, Paul, and Mason have perfectly curated an environment in which we were able to make beautiful, lasting memories. Wedding planning during a pandemic brought with it more challenges than anticipated, but the Emerald Ridge team worked diligently to ensure that every question had an answer and that every problem had a solution. While the Asheville area boasts many choices for venues with beautiful scenery, we are convinced there are none which can provide such a beautiful experience as Emerald Ridge Farm.

Words cannot express how absolutely AMAZING this venue and their staff were!!! Janice and Mason are the most prompt, kind, and ready for anything people I've ever worked with. Having a wedding during a pandemic was not easy, but Janice made sure that our day (and all the planning prior) was as stress free as possible. We chose Emerald Ridge back in November 2019, when they were just starting out and making plans for expansions and renovations, we took our chances by booking them (without looking at any other venues) while they were still in their early stages, and we were not disappointed in the end! The venue, the staff, the area as a whole is just absolutely wonderful!! We could not have asked for a better wedding team! 🖤 and aside from the amazing staff and property, Janice has an extensive stock of decor that looks absolutely gorgeous!!

This place was very flexible with getting everything ready for my sister in law’s wedding on such a short notice. Paul and Janice were amazing to work with. Very nice people. The venue was breathtaking

We decided to check out this charming mountain house to preview it for our wedding weekend. Little did we know the mountains of the Carolina’s are magical! We stayed 2 nights to really get a feel for the venue. Firstly, the grounds are very well kept. We were expecting a normal mountain house, but the property was so well groomed. It looked beautiful next to the pastures. The views from the deck and front patio were unparalleled. If you like a quiet, charming get away, this is the perfect place for the outdoorsy lovers. We bought 2 hours of firewood (but I would recommend maybe doubling that!) the fun never seemed to stop by the bonfire. We could see so many stars in the night sky. Plus, Asheville is an updating city with a lot of food options. We have a private caterer, but we had a few things in town while we stayed. And where do I even begin on the China options??? If you’re a fan of fine china, these vendors have so many different sets. We found the perfect combination to go with our flowers and colors. So excited!

Venue is beautiful with tons of extras included in packages. Organized and professional.
