Incredible, more than words can describe.
We are so happy to have had our wedding at Emerson Fields! Steve and Amelia are so kind, and they work so well with vendors to make the best weddings ever! Beautiful venue, highly ...
recommend!
I've only gotten married once... but can I say best wedding venue EVER ?! After learning about Emerson Field's 48 hour rental policy, seeing the venue in person, and meeting Amelia...
and Steve, we knew it was the one! Amelia was great at communicating with us leading up to the wedding. She helped us make sure we weren't forgetting any details and also offered advice to any questions we had. It was also so nice having access to their preferred vendor directory as we are from out of town. Their recommendations were top notch. As for our wedding weekend, the 48 hour rental allowed us to have as much of a relaxing and low-stress weekend as we could. Amelia and Steve were also there for anything we needed all weekend. They are such nice and good people, and I cannot recommend them and EF enough! We received SO many compliments from our wedding guests. Book with Emerson Fields, you won't regret it!
My husband and I had the wedding of our dreams at Emerson Fields!
When I first came across EF I just knew that was going to be our venue! We were looking for barn/country look wit...
h some elegance and EF was all of that!
I emailed Amelia for more information and we set up a tour/meeting. She was the sweetest person! She Answered all my questions and took the time to show me every detail in the venue! What I absolutely loved about this venue was that there were a few ceremony spots to choose from and this was a huge plus for us with the unpredictable weather in Missouri.
Amelia became more than just our venue owner. She became a friend. She was amazing through out all our wedding planning. She gave us a folder with all the information and checklist we needed along with vendors and all their information. This made planning so much easier!! She also would check in with me via text or call to see how wedding planning was going and would give me words of encouragement. She was the absolute best!
Everything was perfect the day of the wedding! Amelia and the team did a phenomenal job and it will forever be one of my favorite days. 🤍
I don't even know where to begin! If you are looking for a venue, look no further! I can't say enough positive things about Emerson Fields! To start with, Amelia and Steve, the ven...
ue owners, are two of the most genuine people I have ever gotten the pleasure of working with. Amelia was there for us throughout the entire wedding planning process. She went above and beyond to help us with anything. She was always super quick to respond to emails, she took the time to help me find vendors when I was having difficulties, she was on top of reminders, and she was always friendly and compassionate. The day of our wedding she took all kinds of behind-the-scenes pictures that were fun to look at before we got our sneak peek from our photographer. Steve was amazing at helping get the venue ready to go for our big day. The night before he was there making sure the floors were clean, spacing out the hanging curtains just right to make sure they were spaced out perfectly and even taking the time to walk the rows of chairs to make sure everything was aligned just right! His attention to detail was amazing! They became more like family to my husband and I than our venue owners. They were truly amazing. Next on the list is how absolutely STUNNING the venue itself is. There are so many options for where to actually have your ceremony and every single one of them is gorgeous. I fell in love with this venue so hard in fact that my husband and mother booked it before we were even engaged. They knew I loved it that much! I can remember meeting with Amelia before everything was said and done and telling her I was concerned about the drive. We live in Kansas City, and it was going to be about a two-and-a-half-hour drive for us to the venue. Needless to say, I would drive there and back a million times over, nothing even remotely compared to the beauty and hospitality that this venue offered. So, if the distance is a factor for you, rest assured it is worth the drive! I loved the fact that we got the venue for the entire weekend. We were able to set up all day Friday, have our rehearsal Friday night, our wedding Saturday and then were able to come back Sunday and clean up. The bridal suite had everything we needed and was spacious for my entire wedding party and some and all of our hair and make-up vendors. The open food and drink policy made it so easy to plan for breakfast, lunch and our catered dinner. My husband and his groomsmen enjoyed the groom's suite and having a place to claim as their own while they were waiting too. We had our ceremony inside and the room was spacious and designed so perfectly. The Emerson Fields crew flipped our ceremony over to our reception in barely anytime at all whiles more than half of our guests were inside due to it being cold outside. They were so polite and friendly to all of our guests. The property had so many options for our photographer to work with and she herself was blown away by the beauty of Emerson Fields. When it comes to this venue, there is nothing missing. I cannot thank Amelia and Steve enough for everything they did for us and for building the perfect place for my husband and I to get married. Emerson Fields will always hold a very special place in my heart.
Wow... I could honestly write a book about how special and perfect my husband and I's wedding day was and I still don't even think I could honestly put it all into words. You know ...
that feeling? It's a good one, for sure. Your wedding day is special, which I'm sure you already knew that, duh. However, did you know that in order for your wedding day to TRULY be special AND stress-free it genuinely takes an army. I'm not exaggerating here, ok... maybe a little, but you get the point.
Here's the deal, Emerson Fields in Excello, MO gives you one of the BEST, if not THE BEST, opportunity to truly enjoy your entire weekend. Because, lets be real here - it's not just A day, it's multiple days and being able to spend those multiple days in ONE location is super enticing, right? RIGHT! From Friday at noon, until Sunday at noon, you have the ability to live in the beautiful space that they have created and make it your own (although it literally needs nothing because it's beautiful as it is - another bonus - less decor = less money!!!!). Having the time to set up the day before and tear down the day after your wedding allows you to focus SOLELY on your wedding day - not the set up and the tear down of it all.
Steve and Amelia go ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure their couples are able to experience and enjoy their entire weekend and when you listen to their guidance, suggestions and recommendations, you get that. I don't know how they do it, but they just make it happen, and we love that about them! From misplacing my handkerchief all day, to leaving a few items behind after everything was said and done - Amelia and Steve were there to have our backs through it all.
We genuinely cannot thank them enough for allowing us to choose their venue and giving us the space to make it our own and run with our ideas. If you have a friend who does catering, great - you can choose them! Your grandmother wants to make your wedding cake for you? You can do that too! You have the ability to hire who you want and make it what you want, which you don't see a lot of anymore. Not being bound to who they choose for you is really free-ing and allows for your creativity to take over and do your own thing.
Just book them, already!
THANK YOU STEVE AND AMELIA! You all are fantastic and what you have created is just extraordinary! <3
Emerson Fields is incredible! Such a beautiful venue. You don’t have to decorate a single thing to have a gorgeous day. There are so many different photo locations. We had our cere...
mony under the pavilion, and then had the reception indoors with the patio doors open to the back patio. Amelia was so helpful through the entire planning process, and was available for the entire wedding day if we needed anything! 10/10 recommend, you won’t regret it!
I don’t even know where to begin with our Emerson Fields experience! It was amazing from the day we toured the venue and booked a date, all the way to the big day. Steve and Amelia...
are super easy to work with and made planning our wedding a breeze. From day one, Amelia was always quick to respond to any questions I had and always had the best advice to help steer me in the right direction for my dream wedding! The venue is absolutely stunning as well. It is beautiful inside and out and provided the perfect place for our friends and family to help celebrate our special day! I cannot say enough great things about them or the venue itself. I would highly recommend!
We had the most fabulous time at our wedding! Between Amelia the owner and our coordinator Tyena Bealmer everything ran so smoothly! I would highly recommend this venue and Tyena a...
s a coordinator! It's alot to take in all on your own, I would advice anyone to get a coordinator to help plan it all and to advice people what to so on the day of! Both of these ladies made everything so perfect! ♡ We are forever grateful!

BOOK THIS VENUE! Not only is Emerson Fields the most gorgeous venue, Amelia (the owner) truly makes your life so much more simple! As a bride, that’s important! The booking process...
was so easy - and they offer you a ton of information about preferred vendors which can also be so helpful! You get a design consultation where Amelia will ask how you want the venue set up for the reception - where you plan on having the ceremony - and a back up plan if the weather isn’t appropriate for an outdoor wedding, if that’s your preference. I truly can’t say enough good things about this venue! After I had my wedding the first thing I said to individuals who aren’t married yet was “spend the money on a beautiful wedding venue” because at the end of the day my guests were in awe about how beautiful the place was! And this venue is it!! Again, BOOK THIS VENUE! I promise you won’t regret it for a single second!
Our day was amazing thanks to Amelia and Steve! It was suppose to rain all day and our plan was to have the ceremony outside, so Steve and Amelia got BOTH areas ready just in case ...
and had the venue and pavilion in beautiful shape for the wedding. We got to have the wedding outdoors and the pictures were amazing! We couldn’t ask for a better person to work with than Amelia, she was quick to respond and help us plan and she has helped with enough weddings to know the things that go well and the things that don’t. We can’t put enough stars on this review to capture how thankful we are to Emerson Fields!
I (the bride) found Emerson Fields on Instagram. I clicked on the ‘ad’ because I was drawn in by the beauty of the venue in the photos.
Little did I know how even MORE breathtakin...
g the venue is in person!
It is the only venue we toured and booking it was one of the easiest wedding planning decisions we made - mostly because my now husband knew I had my heart set on the venue the moment we stepped out of the car for our tour 🤷🏻♀️
Amelia made us feel so at ease during the planning process (the vendor list is so so helpful!) and the design consultation a few weeks out was so important.
The fact we had the venue the whole weekend was a real bonus! We did all of our set up Friday, were able to rehearse on property, and had time for clean up Sunday morning - this meant Saturday was all about the celebration! We didn’t have to worry about anything except soaking up the day ☺️
We were thankful for the fact the venue offered plan A and plan B - it rained all day for our wedding but NO WORRIES! We got married on the stage and it was perfect. Plus, Amelia and Steve made the switch from ceremony to reception SEAMLESS!!
Our guests had nothing but kind words to say about their experience at Emerson Fields.
The beauty of the venue itself meant we didn’t add much decoration wise and it photographed SO WELL!
Your venue matters - especially when it comes to photos, since it will be your backdrop.
So if you get the opportunity to book with Emerson Fields - DO IT!
We couldn’t have picked a more beautiful place to get married! If you are thinking about touring or booking your wedding there... DO IT!! It’s even more beautiful in person ( I kno...
w.. hard to believe)
They have so many options as far as where you want your ceremony to take place, and no matter what your day will be beautiful! Steve and Amelia go above and beyond to make sure your day goes smooth and they help with so much throughout the whole process of planning! They are the sweetest people!

rson, we decided our other visits were not needed! When we met Amelia, she was incredibly kind, humble, and genuine. She showed interest in getting to know us, hearing our story of how we met, where we were from, etc. She was very helpful during the planning process by providing a list of local vendors that she had previously worked with and knew would be reliable. This was important to us because we strived to use local vendors and wanted to support smaller businesses in our area. Amelia also helps with set up during the design consultation and is present and available all weekend to ensure your wedding goes as smoothly as possible! She was always quick to respond to email and text messages when I had questions as well. It was great to have the option of our ceremony indoor or outdoor as well and Steve and Amelia are willing to adjust this as needed for weather conditions! Steve and Amelia keep the venue in incredible shape and are continually maintaining the property so it is always in pristine condition! It is so beautiful, honestly little decor is needed! Tables, chairs, and linens are all provided by the venue which really saves you time and money in setting up these rentals from more vendors. There is also a bridal suite which was amazing because we were able to have hair and makeup all done at the venue and there was no travel for the bridal party on the day of the wedding! Also, the venue is directly off 63 highway so there is easy access and several options for guests to stay nearby in Macon or Moberly! My husband and I are extremely thankful our wedding was at Emerson Fields and to have met Steve and Amelia! I highly, highly recommend!!
If you are getting married, check Emerson Fields out quickly! My now husband and I looked at venues for over a month, but once we saw Emerson Fields we knew our wedding would be th...
ere! When we first met Amelia, she was beyond nice and caring and wanted to get to know us, how we met, and showed a huge interest in us! She was helpful in the planning process by giving us a list of vendors they've worked with and loved, answered emails I sent (normally the same day!), talking with us and learning our vision at the design consultation, helping out with the rehearsal dinner, and being there on our wedding day! She checked in on me, took photos of set up, our first look, and moments that I'm so excited to have captured from my day! I couldn't imagine working with any other venue because this place was amazing! The venue itself is beautiful! It has all the white walls, exposed brick, and wood elements that you could imagine and it is so beautifully set up and styled! Also, it was easy to find when driving there!
I don't even know where to bring to express how booking Emerson Fields was the best decision I made when planning my wedding! For me the venue was one of the most if not the most i...
mportant things I booked for my wedding since it sets the entire vibe of your wedding. The venue space is especially unique with 4 different ceremony options and a beautiful main area to hold the reception it is sure to make any brides vision come to life! However, the hidden gem in this venue truly are the owners, Amelia and Steve are an absolute bride's dream to work with! From the moment you meet with them you can tell how they care about each and every one of their couples and making their day everything they envision and more. If you have a chance to book your wedding here DO IT!!

iful tables and chairs, the groomsman and bridal suites, the location, and all the beautiful views to the amazing Amelia and Steve themselves, Emerson fields the best of the best. I would recommend this venue to any and everyone. The ease of working with the owners makes you feel confident in your future event at their venue. They truly care about their clients and ensure on making your day a dream come true! Again, I would recommend this venue to all couples or anyone looking to book an event. If you aren't sure, go see this beauty in person and it's wonderful owners, you will understand how amazing this place truly is.
We recently got married at Emerson Fields and to say that it was amazing is an understatement. We could not have picked a more ideal and perfect place to celebrate our big day. The...
venue offered everything we could have asked for! The kitchen was perfect for rehearsal dinner the night prior with big ovens, coolers, and tons of counter space for prepping a big meal. The back patio, the lake, the dock, the bar, I could go on and on we just fell in love with the venue. The lighting is perfect for photography and you have multiple options on where to have your ceremony. The biggest asset though, is the owners Amelia and Steve. They were so helpful in so many ways and were willing to do just about anything to make the day as perfect as it could be. We had a small crisis with our photographer and Amelia was working with our wedding planner to get things worked out. Even calling personal friends of hers trying to find a solution. She even went out of her way and did some photography of her own, she is so amazing! She was so helpful through the entire planning process and unbelievably quick to respond to all of my questions. She provided us with so much information and wonderful vendors to choose from. She truly cares and wants things to go just the way you want them too. I cannot say enough about Steve and Amelia! We are very grateful to have met them, and have the chance to work with them. Thank you for being wonderful people and thank you for letting us use your property for the weekend! Highly recommend Emerson fields!! ❤️❤️❤️

ing or event at Emerson fields. The venue has been built to meet every need you may have and even needs you did not know you had! The owners are there for you and your family and will help you in anyway they are able to. Out of all the weddings I have been to, I believe our wedding venue has been better than any others. This is the place to have your wedding.

in hundreds, if not thousands of venues, and this one is the tops. Light drenched, beautiful landscaping, and photo options out the wazoo!
Do yourself a favor and run to this venue!
Simple. Caring. No Fuss. Easy. BEAUTIFUL. Convenience.

hairs? Go ahead! You need to use their arbor? Easy! They'll even set it up for you. Want to buy all your alcohol at Sams and bring it yourself? Not a problem! Need to get there early to set up on Friday? Already included. Don't want to make your wedding party stay after the wedding to clean up? At Emerson Fields you can do it the next day! Did you forget a knife to cut up all that watermelon you bought? No worries, Amelia will run over from her house and personally give you her kitchen knife! (true story).
We are almost a month out from our wedding and we are still processing just how beautiful our wedding weekend was. From the rehearsal dinner to Sunday clean-up brunch, it was all perfect. Thank you Emerson Fields!!!
Emerson Fields was an amazing venue for my daughter’s wedding! It by far exceeded our expectations and I was so impressed how Amelia worked to make it not only a beautiful and per...
fect wedding but an entire weekend of celebration. We were fortunate enough to have several out of town family and friends be able to attend the wedding. Therefore, we were able to utilize the venue for the entire three days for not only a beautiful wedding but a rehearsal supper on Friday night, and again on Sunday morning for the couple to open their presents with their family. This made the weekend even more special since we were able to spend so much time with our family. I cannot express enough how happy and satisfied I am with Emerson Fields.

ds. Our favorite aspect of the venue was that we had it from noon on Friday to noon on Sunday. We thought this was so incredible as many venues we looked at didn’t allow this amount of time. My husband, family, friends & I had such a great time hanging out and RELAXING all weekend. We would recommend Emerson Fields to anyone!

on. One of the biggest regrets I have is not hiring a wedding planner. Thankfully Amelia went above and beyond to make our day perfect. When I forgot my veil in the bridal suite, she went to get it. When there was a massive storm and we lost power, she was one of the first to reassure this bride. If you are looking for a venue where you aren't just "another couple," Emerson Fields is your place. It is versatile and organically beautiful; it requires minimal decoration! As a penny-pincher I was a little intimidated by the cost but it is worth EVERY penny. Emerson Fields provides a substantial amount of accommodations compared to other venues. Believe me, I looked at almost every venue in the state. I am so grateful for Emerson Fields and the Holder Family for making May 18th the best day of my life.
The moment we walked into Emerson Fields, a sense of calm washed over us. Wedding planning was already a stressful experience for me -- but that immediate calm told me everything I...
needed to know. The space is absolutely awash with natural light, with gorgeous places both indoors and outdoors (including a meadow, the one thing I yearned for). We felt confident that with a canvas like this, the event would be beautiful no matter what. More importantly, we felt freedom to craft a non-traditional day that reflected us as a couple. The day was everything we hoped it would be, and Amelia & Rebecca were wonderful to work with! They not only have impeccable taste and wonderful eyes for detail, but are both such warm spirits. You cannot go wrong with this place.

e venue itself is beyond beautiful; every detail is so carefully thought out. Steve and Amelia welcomed us so warmly, like we had known them forever. That same warmth continued all the way to our wedding day and beyond. I had a million questions for Amelia and she answered every single one of them with the same friendliness from the first time we met. Steve and Amelia worked to make sure our day was everything we had dreamed of...and it ended up being better than anything we could have imagined. They put their hearts into this place and you can see it with every wedding that happens here. We are so grateful that we were able to start our new beginning at Emerson Fields!

nd I told them what I wanted and even had a plan b in place. They had me meet the woman that they have been training, Rebecca so she would have an idea of what I wanted also. The weekend of our wedding it rained cats and dogs on Friday so I decided to have the ceremony inside. Well saturday morning happened and it was beautiful outside and I texted Rebecca to see if I could change it to an outdoor ceremony. She said yes and she worked her but off all day to help with my vision! Amelia and Steve have amazing staff and you are in good hands no matter what! This venue is beautiful and I highly recommend it!
Steve and Amelia know weddings - the ins and outs. Emerson Fields is gorgeous. We wouldn’t have changed a thing about our entire day!

Steve have created such a magical place for folks in our small town. The venue itself couldn’t be more beautiful with its rustic character, adding such a tasteful ambience for any occasion! The venue is nestled in a field, creating such a magnificent view, as the gorgeous building overlooks a pond with a dock, coming out of the back patio. Accompanied by this outstanding event space are the people who make the magic happen—Amelia and Steve! On behalf of my sister and her husband, we are so thankful for these incredible people for helping make the process of planning a wedding so much more enjoyable and less stressful. You can get married at any beautiful venue, but Amelia and Steve go above and beyond and make the entire experience so much more enriching and unique because of their endless amount of support that you truly can’t get anywhere else. Amelia and Steve and their venue deserve so much recognition! October 20, 2018 is a day that goes down in history for our family because of this team and their event space. Emerson Fields is what dreams are made of!

One amazing feature of Emerson Fields are the design appointments. Amelia meets with each couple before the wedding and go over plans and details to make sure they(Steve and Amelia) know how to best serve each couple. This allows for everyone to have a personalized and unique experience and make each wedding perfect.
We truly love Emerson Fields and could not have imagined a more perfect or magical day! Steve and Amelia are wonderful people and do a phenomenal job making everyone feel special!
We just got married at Emerson Fields and could not be happier!
This Venue exceeded our expectations in every aspect. It was beautiful. Our decor (Fall colors with Vintage flair) ...
looked great with the neutral building. It rained on our wedding day on and off all day. Eventually (only a couple hours before the guests were to arrive) the clouds parted and the rain stopped just in the nick of time. The venue owners wiped down the outside areas so that they could be used for our photos and for our guests. I am so impressed with the lengths they went to in order to make our day perfect.
Our wedding was booked for October 2018 in September of 2017 at Emerson Fields, when the venue was just a shell and the vision was in the owners' minds. The booking process was simple and the owners were helpful. We watched the venue transform over the months, watched walls be finished, flooring come together, beautiful wood beams be installed and lovely and comfortable amenities be added to the suites. It has been a joy to watch the evolution. As the venue progressed, so did the plans for our wedding. With every coat of pain, we finalized a vendor. With window coverings going up, we talked to the florist. When the bar was installed, we decided our menu. Along that journey (and all the planning) the owners were there to answer each and every question we had in as much detail as they could. They were responsive, thoughtful, caring and never annoyed by my millions of questions via email, call and text. We're thrilled that the venue has come to the point where it is today. It's stunning.
So pleased that we were able to have our special day at Emerson Fields and enjoy the beautiful setting with our family and friends. Thank you Emerson Fields for making it the Best Day Ever!
We absolutely love this venue! It is breathtaking, able to accommodate large crowds and perfect in every way! We recommend this venue every single time to all of our brides. Amel...
