detail-oriented leading up to the wedding. She spent time learning about our vision and she executed perfectly. On the day of, Emie was flexible, professional, supportive, creative, and a joy to be around. She identified great photo-taking locations and adjusted well to the changing/shifting lighting at our venue, too. The final photos evoked feelings of joy, celebration, and love, which were exactly what we wanted!! Thank you Emie!!!

red every single emotion; the joy, the tears, the belly laughs and turned it all into pure art.
Our photos are beyond anything we could’ve imagined. They feel alive, like we’re right back in those moments every time we look at them. I’ve been obsessing over them nonstop, they’re that good.
Emie, you’re a magician. We love you and can’t thank you enough for giving us the most beautiful memories to hold onto forever.

h of them for my wedding. I would 100% recommend them to anyone and everyone looking for professional photos. We spent 8 hours with them but the time flew by and they made the night so much more memorable. And to top it off, they had sneak peek photos ready for us before 24 hours! Incredible! We couldn't have done the day without either of them and many of my guests complimented how Incredible they were!
Emie such a joy to work with and I am so incredibly grateful to her for capturing our wedding authentically and with our goals and priorities in mind.
We had a really specific...
vision of what we wanted our wedding to feel to like and she did a beautiful job capturing that. I was blown away by some of the images she captured. Not only were they stunning, it was evident she understood our vision and emphasized it.
I really appreciated that she was so willing to traipse thru the forest on a hike with us mid day and that she made sure photograph everything we wanted but also things I didn’t even think to request.
I also really appreciated that she captured true colors/ hues and really listened to what I liked/didn’t like stylistically.
I also want to note that she has a lot of experience with animal photography and capturing images of my dogs was very important to me. Since my wedding, one of my dogs has passed away and I am so grateful to have such beautiful high quality images of him from our wedding .
she was flexible with adjusting the contract to suit our specific needs and desires, and was really flexible day of with various last minute changes

gh it rained on our wedding day. We felt so confident in Emie throughout the entire wedding day as we spent so much time planning together talking through our must have photos. ough the planning process, she reassured us and continuously instilled confidence in us. On the day of our wedding, her and Michael were early and comforting. They did getting ready photos, our first look, bridal party photos, and family photos per our shot list. They were so knowledgable and paid great attention to the lighting and backdrop, having us change angles a few times to account for it. She coached us through poses and, most importantly, what to do with our hands. During the ceremony and reception, they both were able to capture shots that we had no idea they were even in position for! They also brought disposable cameras to the event for our guests to take candids throughout the night and we’re super excited to see how those turn out!
Additionally, they were very professional in handling relatives who wanted to take pictures on their own equipment throughout the day. They were so fun to work with, we highly recommend them to anyone looking for a photographer in the Albemarle area!

ime and care to review our timeline and made excellent recommendations based on her experience. She went above and beyond by attending our rehearsal to get a sense for the ceremony and reception spaces. On the day itself, she brought a calm and professional energy to what can feel like a frenetic day. Our family complimented her for having a very well run family portrait session. The photos we’ve seen are amazing and we cannot wait to see the full album. I would recommend Emie highly!

as truly one of a kind. We all three clicked and it felt like we were hanging out with an old friend (who happens to take bomb photos). She told us exactly what to do when we didn’t know but also let us just be ourselves. And that’s exactly what we wanted. She captured our image effortlessly and was easy going and encouraging. She is clear with timelines and communication. If you’re looking for a photographer to capture a special moment - you will not be disappointed with Emie’s Photo. 10/10 highly recommend. Thank you again Emie!

made our special day better than we could’ve imagined! She captured not only photos but our emotions and memories that we made. Since we eloped, we wanted to make sure we had the perfect photographer to capture our day, and Emie was just that! She took amazing photos, gave amazing advice on what to do in the area, and basically planned our entire elopement. She ensured that our day was smooth and completely stress free. When weather seemed as if it would be a problem, Emie was quick with brainstorming alternatives- thankfully the weather was perfect! I couldn’t imagine a more beautiful and stress-free elopement, all thanks to Emie! Thank you so much for all that you do, we could not be more grateful!
