We do not have enough great things to say about Emilie! She is sweet, responsive, and takes AMAZING photos! We heard about her online through another couple, and booking her was our best decision yet! Our photos have all been STUNNING. On our wedding day, she (and her second shooter) were professional and really made us feel comfortable the whole time. My new husband and I are very awkward in front of a camera, but she told us exactly what to do and what to expect. She basically made us look like models in our pics! It was crazy! She is awesome! Emilie was a dream to work with - she was punctual, thorough, and incredibly professional. She and her husband shot my wedding, and they did a beautiful job capturing all of our favorite moments. The photos have a very soft quality about them, which really highlighted the colors in our spring wedding. I would hire her time and time again!

Emilie is truly one of the kindest people I have met. My husband and I loved working with her from engagements, bridal portraits to the day of the wedding. I came across her name because she shot a wedding that I was a bridesmaid in. She is very calm, detailed oriented and methodical which I appreciated greatly! I chose her because I loved her photos and she also primarily shoots film. We shot our engagements in Austin where she is based - and she chose the perfect location despite the rainy weekend - they turned out great! She also traveled to Houston for my bridal portraits and then again for our rehearsal dinner and the wedding. Also, a great add was her husband who was a great addition for the guys - I know my husband really enjoyed getting to meet him - he also came in clutch helping him tie his bow tie - ha! We both hope to keep in touch with Emilie and want to use her for all of our future "big life moments" as well!

I corresponded with close to 20 photographers before deciding on one for my wedding, and Emilie was the only one I truly felt was the best fit! Her photography is so fresh and beautiful and she is such a joy to work with. She was extremely calm and organized on an otherwise crazy, hectic wedding day and I cannot thank her enough for it! Emilie and her husband, Brandon are such a great team and were helpful to us in a myriad of ways beyond just taking photos. I'm so happy we chose Emilie to be our wedding photographer. We picked a very fairly priced package that included an engagement shoot, a bridal shoot, and 9 hours of wedding day coverage with her second shooter/husband Brandon. Emilie traveled to Dallas from Austin for our engagement shoot, which was really fun and lighthearted - a great way to get to know her and put us at ease being photographed. Emilie was thoroughly warm and professional throughout our experience with her. She even connected with me to take certain wedding day detail shots before the big day, so as to have more time to photograph the action of the wedding day. Emilie expertly wrangled my big family for formal portraits, and Brandon seamlessly blended in with the groomsmen to get some great candid getting-ready shots. My husband and I were just so pleased with the quality of the photos and the overall experience. We'll definitely cherish these photos forever, and I'm sure we'll call on Emilie to take more photos for us in the future!

Emilie is incredible!! Seriously, she was born to be a photographer. Her work is AMAZING!!! I find myself wanting to find more excuses for her to take our photos because she is that good. I used Emilie for my bridals and a boudoir shoot in advance of my wedding. She was so easy to work with and made me feel comfortable and confident in both shoots. I <3 Emilie!!! Emilie was the perfect photographer to capture our modern, light filled wedding at Prospect House! We wanted a photographer that used lots of natural light and had a bright, airy look to the photos. Her photography style absolutely fit the bill - all of our photos from the wedding are stunning and look like they are from a styled editorial shoot (and make us look way more fabulous than we really are). She is truly a professional and was a joy to work with throughout the wedding planning process, offering help with our day-of timeline, taking some details photos ahead of time to accommodate our schedules, and more. Emilie was the photographer at my friend Yael's wedding in August and she was AMAZING. The pictures are not only gorgeous, but there were so many images of the little details and sweet moments between family and friends who had travelled in from all over. Working with Emilie was such a joy! She is kind, thoughtful, calm and most importantly, talented. From engagement pictures to the day of, she was a delight to work with and I was thrilled with our pictures. She made the drive from Austin to Dallas and was always flexible despite the distance. For me, wedding photos were one of the most important aspects of our big day. I looked at so many different photographers before making a final decision and Emilie was absolutely the right choice. Her pictures are always beautifully directed with lovely use of light and color. Being the subject of pictures did not come naturally to me and she helped me feel relaxed and she was also was great at telling me how to stand etc. I was so happy with how the shots turned out despite typically hating pictures of myself. Her husband is her second shooter and he was great to work with as well. I had some very specific ideas for pictures that she executed flawlessly and when I didn't know what I wanted, she was full of creative ideas and a vision of her own. It was a wonderful experience working with her and I can't stress how beautiful the final product turned out. I can't recommend her enough and if I had it to do all over again I would not hesitate to use Emilie.

Photography was one of the first things on our wedding to do list because it was so important to me to find the right photographer to capture our day in a beautiful, special way that we could look back on to remember our wedding day. Aside from the memories, photos are usually all you have to relive a special time in your life. Fortunately, we were recommended Emilie by another photographer of a friend who had recently been married in the Austin/San Antonio area. After looking at Emilie's website and our first chat on the phone, I knew her style was exactly what we wanted for our day. In addition, she is such a sweet person and makes you and your significant another feel very comfortable while shooting. Our engagement pictures turned out wonderful, but our wedding photos literally took my breath away. They are stunning and we have received endless compliments from family, friends, and even strangers! Emilie is professional and experienced in her work; during the wedding she had us on time or early with pictures, leaving my husband and I stress free and able to enjoy those moments together. Her husband accompanied her to the wedding as the second shooter and he was funny and personable; they make a wonderful team! Worth every single penny! We can't thank Emilie (and Brandon) enough for being a part of our special day and would recommend them to any bride who wants truly beautiful photos that they can cherish forever!

Emilie shot our anniversary session for our one year, and did not dissapoint! Her photography style is nothing short of amazing. She captured our moments with elegance and romantic style lighting. She also shot in film for our session and, I received the photos faster than anticipated. Her communication was prompt and, she answered all of my questions. We will definitely choose Emilie again!

We decided on Emilie based on her great prices and flexibility. She drove to Houston for our engagement session and allowed me to switch out the bridal session into more hours at the wedding. When we did not need the extra hours on the wedding day, she again let us switch those out for an anniversary session. She was able to capture beautiful pictures during formals on the wedding day and during our engagement shoot. She is able to compose shots well when she is able to decide on lighting, location, and stance. However, Emilie has some trouble capturing scenes when she cannot control all the elements. The outdoor ceremony shots appear very bright and overexposed. While the sun was really bright that day, the overexposure cannot be overseen. In the indoor reception setting, many pictures were blurry and shots from the dance floor had the white light from the remote flash in the back. We would expect either clear pictures with a remote flash setup or perhaps a handful of blurry pictures because no remote flash was set up, not both. As far as content, we would have liked pictures of some of our guests prior to or during the reception. We only received the table photos as we personally went table to table that night. There were not enough close ups of my husband and I. It is disappointing not having photos that captured any facial expressions showing the raw emotions of that day. As far as communication and response, we ran into issue during the entire process. She would either ignore or not receive emails and seemed to constantly have issues with her computer or email in general. While she did take some great pictures, there were more that we didn’t like than we did like. Most photographers will use all digital, but Emilie does use some film. This may have caused her to just take less pictures overall, which may be why we didn’t have all the different types of shots we were expecting. In retrospect, even though her prices were affordable, we would have paid more money and picked another photographer.

I cannot speak highly enough of Emilie! She's not only an amazing photographer but she's also a joy to be around. I did a couple sessions with her prior to our wedding day and she totally helped me relax in front of the camera which made the big day so much easier! She is also so flexible and accommodating which makes a bride's life way less stressful. And then fast forward to our wedding day, I couldn't be happier that it was Emilie and Brandon that we picked! They are both wonderful people to be around which makes for a happy bride and groom! I would choose Emilie again in a heartbeat.

Emilie gave us some really nice shots of our wedding, however, too many of table décor and other things. We would have preferred more of us. There were no pictures of my husband before the ceremony, getting ready, etc. I understand that they were running around like crazy people getting ready, but most photographers I've worked with are very adamant about getting shots. Emilie and Brandon could have rallied the troops better and been more vocal. There were very limited ones of family pictures, and all of them my eyes are closed. It seems that they would've seen this in the camera and asked us to take more. I don't have a good picture of me with my dad :( or siblings :( I had hung up my wedding dress on the canopy bed for a nice picture of my dress hanging before putting it on and she didn't take what I feel could be one of the most important shots of the evening. When I communicated this irritation/sadness thru email to the photographer, I have yet to receive any word or an I'm sorry I overlooked this. It just seems that they would've wanted to make it right.

Emilie & Brandon did a wonderful job, their photography is amazing and we were very very impressed with their work. The only downfall has been communication. As stated in our contract we are to receive the photos on USB but we have yet to receive it or receive information about when to expect receiving the photos & our wedding was almost 7 months ago. We did receive the link to our photos that were uploaded to shutterfly but the quality is not as clear as the originals.

Emilie is such a joy to work with! Every photo she captures is taken with care and detail. She has amazing talent with lighting and catching those genuine moments. Wrangling wedding party and family for pictures can be a hassle, but they handled it well and we were very pleased with the finished product. Emilie and Brandon were awesome to work with! We were so lucky to find someone as talented as these two within our budget. The moment I met Emilie I was wonderfully surprised at her experience, professionalism and services. Working with her and her partner proved to be a very pleasant experience, as we felt we were with friends rather than with photographers. They have a great eye for interesting shots and sun angles that provide more interest to the photos. Most importantly they are accommodating to the Bride, we had a special location to go to between the wedding and the reception, and Emilie and Brandon did not show that it inconvenienced them at all. These little things help to make the wedding day, and memories of it, even more special. My day was already very hectic, but Emilie and Brandon were able to get all of the photos on my very lengthy list before the night was finished. We are so happy that we went with Emilie Anne and I highly recommend her to anyone needing a photographer.

Where to begin?! First off, if you are in search of a totally awesome, down to earth, relaxed, yet CONFIDENT photographer, Emilie is your girl! Emilie was super flexible and met with me a few times before the wedding to chat and find out what we wanted out of our wedding photos. Our wedding day started around 10:30 am and went until 10:30 pm and Emilie and her assistant Brandon were with us the entire time; from make-up and hair all the way until we walked out of the reception! Emilie was super attentive, as I caught her snapping some really wonderful pictures that I hadn't thought about asking her to do and that meant a lot! We were married in a Catholic church which comes with many rules about when and when not to take photographs, etc. Emilie and her assistant were very respectful and professional and I felt such relief having them as our photographers. Emilie and her assistant Brandon even went above and beyond when they came to the rehearsal at the church to talk with the priest and get a lay out of the church so that they knew exactly where they could capture the greatest pictures. Overall I am so happy that my fiancé and I chose Emilie as our photographer and if we had to do it all over, we would choose her again!

I found Emilie Anne Photography through a friend this summer before my wedding. Emilie did both bridal portraits and wedding day photos for me. Every picture she took turned out absolutely beautiful! My fiancé and I were extremely excited to have our engagement pictures taken for our save the dates. We knew that we wanted to have them done at our alma mater. Emilie offered to drive up and take the pictures even though it was clearly out of her way! She was awesome and came prepared with multiple ideas and let us use our own as well. She gave us exceptional customer service and the best part was that she didn't charge an arm and a leg for her service, she was extremely reasonable and awesome quality.
