Made beautiful flower arrangements that really complimented our wedding. Guests raved about how beautiful everything looked
Emily was amazing to work with. When I first contacted her requesting a bid for my wedding, I outlined a few of my design choices. The first thing she did was to schedule a phone c...
all with me to make sure she understood where my priorities were with my design. After our discussion, she sent me some very helpful design images and invoice estimates that were updated to any changes we made. She was wonderful to work with throughout the whole process, and she kept her prices reasonable and within our original budget. Any time I asked about a change that would increase the estimate above a previous one, she would confirm the increase before applying the change to my design. She would then send me an updated invoice so I knew exactly what my costs were.
Emily made sure to talk to me over the phone and via email several times leading up to my wedding. She helped to raise questions to ask my venue when I was considering certain design aspects (i.e. if the tapered candles would be allowed). I had no concerns leading up to my wedding thanks to Emily’s attention to detail.
When my wedding day arrived, she managed to arrive early and set up the florals most of the way before I even noticed. The bouquets were all stunning, the centerpieces everything I imagined and more, and her attention to detail really showed through. We had asked her to wrap my bouquet in some of the lace from my grandmother’s wedding dress and my husband’s boutonniere in some of his grandmothers’ wedding dress. We provided more than what was required, and Emily returned the unneeded materials for us to keep as an heirloom.
I honestly can’t sing enough praises about Emily’s attention to detail and beautiful designs. She will be my first call if I ever need florals for another event in Maine.

ient with me as we worked to figure out the design of the wedding (which I switch a few different times) and supplied helpful suggestions and details. She knew exactly what would work with the space and how to execute my vision. Everything was perfectly detailed and her team did an amazing job setting up the space. I would highly recommend her!

ntion to detail [ensuring they swept the floors before they left!], offering to stay longer so rose petals didn't blow away - they truly care about each and every client. The Purple Orchid team definitely recommends Emily Carter + team and can't wait to work with them again!
If we're being totally honest, flowers are not my forte, nor were they the biggest concern at my wedding. That said, Emily Carter created a BEAUTIFUL aesthetic for my wedding in Po...
rtland, ME in July. She was willing to re-do the proposal when I wasn't comfortable with the price, and came up with beautiful and unique alternatives. My bridesmaids carried dried lavender bouquets which were not only beautiful, but also gave off such a soothing scent. Plus, my bridesmaids were all thrilled to be able to have a memento of the weekend in their dried bouquets. I would highly recommend Emily Carter Floral Designs to any bride in Southern Maine!
The only thing that can rival Emily Carter's top-notch level of professionalism is the beauty of her floral designs. Our wedding was in September, and our friends and family are st...
ill complimenting us on how gorgeous the flowers came out. Throughout the year, Emily was always responsive, patient, and respectful of our budget. It might sound cheesy, but we were truly stunned by how beautiful her floral arrangements were. Book her ASAP!

en the floral arrangements throughout the wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and reception were just stunning. Her arrangements are not over the top, but fit us and our look just perfectly. She's wonderful!

s of her own. She was responsive, very easy to work with, and had a really nice relaxed vibe that kept me stress-free. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, fresh, and stunning upon arrival. I would highly recommend her!

ntract 10 months out from our wedding to when things actually happened. Our flowers were beautiful, seasonal and fit our venue perfectly. I had spoken with 5 or more other florists prior to getting Emily's name from our cake baker- I'm so glad that we called her! We would absolutely recommend Emily for other events
I booked Emily Carter for a winter wedding in Maine. I know very little about flowers and I showed up at our introductory meeting with some pictures, some flower names, and lots o...
f questions. Emily was able to tell me what would work in cold temps and what wouldn't be the best idea. Once Emily knew what I wanted, she put together lists with names and pictures of the flowers she was thinking of using for each of the bouquets, corsages and boutonnieres. Being able to visualize the flowers from the lists from Emily was so helpful to me as I pulled together the final details for my wedding. Emily also worked with me to make sure I had beautiful flowers within my budget. I highly recommend Emily Carter! She was friendly, professional and everything she put together for my wedding was absolutely beautiful.
Emily Carter is the best! I was a little late in planning this piece of my wedding but Emily came through big time. She quickly came up with a plan, shared her ideas with me, made ...
some changes to work with my budget and delivered absolutely gorgeous flowers on my wedding day. She was highly recommended by my venue (Newagen Seaside Inn) and I can see why. She helped with a last minute request when I realized I had forgotten to get flower petals for the flower girls. The person who delivered (I can't remember your name...so sorry) set up the room beautifully, delivered the bouquets, sewed in my grandmothers' wedding rings and all with a smile. ECFD is well worth the investment. I did not worry about anything floral related!
Emily has a true gift and eye for design. Ever since I first saw her work, I knew that I wanted Emily to be my wedding florist but I had no idea what a true pleasure it would be to...
work with her. From our first meeting I knew that this wasn’t just going to be about which flowers we wanted to have. She helped me with EVERYTHING! From what color ties would look best on the guys to how to incorporate a new color that I wanted in the eleventh hour. Through everything Emily was always quick to respond, easy to talk to and super flexible and cheerful. Simply a delight to work with and the results were perfection! I could have never pulled everything together so perfectly without Emily!
Emily was very nice and accomedating. The arbor garland and boquets made our pictures even nicer the boutineers however ended up wilting before the ceremony :-(
I hired Emily to do my bouquets, boutineers and corsages. She did such an amazing job and was able to make my vision come to life based soley on my tastes and rough idea of colors....
She created something that I didn't have in my head, but was exactly what I wanted - if that makes sense.
Emily also went above and beyond, meeting with me to review colors and flowers when I was having a hard time envisioning everything.
Emily was extremely professional and timely when it came to all meetings and check-ins. She did a great job and was able to work within my budget. I would eagerly recommend her to Maine brides in the area.
