Emily Dahuron

ay to go over all the big and small details. She was professional and timely and overall returned absolutely gorgeous pictures and we couldn’t be happier!

, we instantly knew we had made the right decision. Neither my husband nor I had ever taken professional photos before, and we expected it to be pretty awkward. But Emily made us feel completely comfortable and guided us through every step. Throughout the wedding planning process, we had periodic meetings with Emily, and she stayed in close contact with our wedding planner to coordinate the day-of timeline and other key details. On our wedding day, she did an amazing job organizing the countless family photo groupings and bridal party shots with ease and professionalism. We were blown away when she sent us sneak peeks within a week of the wedding! We absolutely LOVE how the photos turned out and can’t wait to see the full album. We would highly recommend Emily to anyone looking for a talented, thoughtful, and calming presence behind the camera!

s attention to detail which was such a breath of fresh air when we dealt with other vendors that just didn’t “get it.” We knew we could ask Emily for support and advice without hesitation and we trusted her expertise. She met with us in person before the wedding to plan and nail down all of the important details. Then, she met with us AFTER the wedding to plan our final album. I don’t know any other photographers that give so much of their valuable time to their clients (and I’m a photographer myself so I know many photographers! lol) It was just absolutely amazing. We received our final album in the mail and it’s perfect. We look forward to looking at it for many years in the future. If you choose Emily as your wedding photographer, just know that you’ll be in very good hands. She finished editing the photos and submitted them to us in a very timely manner, was super responsive, and gave us so many beautiful photos for us to cherish forever. Highly highly recommend!

ed communication throughout all of our video call meetings and every email discussing the details of the timeline was extremely helpful. She asked all of the right questions and provided us with guidance for so many aspects of the planning process. Early on, we met to discuss our goals for photography and what we were looking for. As we knew more about the venue, timeline, what family/bridal party photos we would like, and any important points that she needed to know, she was constantly communicating with us. We had so many compliments about her from our bridal party and family after our wedding day! We felt very at ease with her advice throughout the whole process. During the wedding day, she captured every single natural moment in addition to the structured group family and bridal party photos. We loved the photos she took of bridal details, getting ready, bridesmaid/groomsman group photos prior to the ceremony, ceremony, cocktail hour, couple, dinner, speeches, cake cutting, and reception, all of which she captured perfectly. When directing a big group, she was very respectful, calm, fun, and kept us on schedule. She found us a rainy photo location when the weather wasn’t great, which prevented what could have been a very stressful day. She continually checked in with and communicated with us throughout the wedding day. I was interested in taking photos on the Detroit riverwalk, and the day had gone by so quickly that she helped us stay on schedule by asking if we still wanted to take those photos! We received our preview a few days later, and then loved the gallery of photos once complete a few months later. I love that we have photos with all of our family members, best friends and bridal party, and of the multitude of moments throughout the day that we didn’t know we needed. We absolutely love her style of photography and can’t be happier with the photos we received and the experience with Emily during the planning process. We highly recommend Emily Kyle Photography!
