Emily was truly wonderful. Unfortunately her husband Matt was not able to be there at our wedding, but the woman who filled in for him was fantastic. She was so easy to work with, and so relaxed and warm that I was immediately comfortable in front of her camera. So far we have only gotten our preview pictures back but they are INCREDIBLE. My mom cried when she saw them. Already I feel like its going to be impossible to choose from so many good shots. I keep looking through them every other day marveling at how gorgeous they are and reveling in the memories of the day that are so beautifully captured. My husband and I are not the kind of couple who is into really posed pictures, and she only really cued us or asked to pose maybe 3 times the whole day and they ended up being some of my favorite shots. She knows how to make you feel comfortable and bring out the best of you both. Emily is amazing and if you want your pictures to not only capture the visual but the emotion of the day, hire her immediately!

Emily and her husband Matt are a joy to work with. Their friendly attitude, incredible talent, and calm demeanor add to the tone of your wedding day in immeasurable ways. They are the type of people who make you feel as you've known them forever. They created a photo album that is more than we could have ever asked for. You are making a big mistake if you do not hire them for your wedding photography!

Emily and Matt are the best. Our wedding photos were absolutely stunning, and even more importantly, they captured all the genuine emotion and joy of every moment of the day. Emily and Matt also brought such a kind, fun, and relaxed vibe to the day and felt like old friends by the end of the night. As an added bonus, Emily sent along the photos within only 2 weeks of our wedding (instead of the quoted 6-8 week turn-around time) and we received several hundred more photos than expected as well. It was a true joy to work with Emily and Matt from start to finish!

Photography was one of our biggest priorities for our wedding, and we couldn't be more thrilled that Emily was our photographer. We didn't get to meet her and her husband Matt until our wedding day, and they immediately felt like old friends, which helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera. They were so kind, generous, and fun to be around. We loved Emily's candid, photo-journalistic style of photography, and the images she delivered from our wedding are absolutely stunning. The photos are full of movement, laughter, and joy, and they captured so many incredible moments. These photos are truly special and we will treasure them forever. I could gush about Emily and Matt for hours, but instead I'll just say: HIRE THEM!

Obviously Emily’s photos are beautiful and stunning and perfect in every way, but my favorite part about having her and her husband Matt as our photographers was how they navigated the entire wedding day with poise and direction. Emily was kind and thoughtful and completely at ease with our rather complex timeline, but she also effortlessly captured every important moment and beautiful scenery (“this is a magical forest!”). During our First Look, Emily’s husband Matt (her second shooter) carried my bouquet and actually moved sticks out of my path so they wouldn't get caught in my dress. They were both incredibly patient when wrangling errant family members for formal photos and absolutely brilliant when capturing special moments between two of us. Not only were their photographs insanely beautiful, Emily and Matt were such wonderful additions to our wedding that we wished we had invited them as guests! There is no better choice than hiring Emily and Matt!

I could not have asked for a better photographer. Emily was an absolute dream to work with. We bought the largest package - it was an investment but I do not regret it one bit. It was one of the best decisions I made. Our engagement pictures were everything I wanted and so much more. I haven't seen all of the wedding pictures yet but the ones I've seen are perfect. Emily was able to capture my relationship with my partner perfectly. And it was just so much fun to take the pictures. Emily makes you feel so relaxed and like you can totally be yourself. Beyond how personable she is, she is an amazingly talented photographer. Her photos have a film quality to them that is hard to find in the digital world. I love the way she processes the images - the colors are soft but absolutely stunning. She is a true artist and I want to blanket my house with all of the photos she took of us. Literally cannot say enough amazing things about her.

Do yourself a favor and quickly book Emily and Matt if they are still available for your wedding date. Awesome people to work with and their photography is top notch. So thankful we had the chance to work with them—worth every single penny!

Emily is absolutely a wonderful talent and a wonderful human being. She was the first vendor I booked and had her picked out even before I was engaged, she'd done several coworkers weddings and I fell in love. She has such an eye and her portfolio of garden and estate weddings made her an easy choice for our venue. Unfortunately, my fiance and I cancelled our wedding (MIL problems) but our engagement photos are hung around our apartment, our save the dates were beautiful, and I cannot thank Emily enough for both those images of us in love and also for being so caring as we worked through this. She really gets to know each of her couples and I think that definitely shows in her pictures and they are something I will cherish forever - thank you Emily!!

Working with Emily was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. She and her husband Matt (second shooter) were such a pleasure to share our wedding day with! We loved Emily’s calmness, their positive energy, overall warmth, and team dynamic. Many felt it, as we had several guests tell us afterwards that they loved our photographers. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, we felt so comfortable with Emily. That’s not something tangible, but it's important. It’s such a personal and intimate celebration, but we felt relaxed and could truly be ourselves. We first met Emily in-person for our engagement shoot. We hung out in our neighborhood getting to know each other, and then went off to shoot. We felt like she could have been our friend. We laughed a lot and unexpectedly had so much fun! During the planning process, Emily was flexible with changing our engagement shoot date and overall was responsive to any concerns that we had. We discussed a lot of details through email. When we received our wedding photos, we were so happy! They captured the cherished moments, family, friends, our venue and details in such an elegant way. We will forever treasure these photos. Her compositions and lighting are truly stunning. We love so many photos, but we especially loved our couple shots and the candid moments. We also appreciated that they hit just about everything on our (long) shot list. If you hire Emily, you won’t be disappointed! She’s an authentic person with incredible talent for fine art photography.

Emily and Matt were wonderful!!! The photos we received were absolutely beautiful and we received them very quickly which was a great bonus. They really made us feel like they were happy to be there and enjoying their time and were so considerate. They took their time with us to really get beautiful shots and capture so many fun memories we will always have. I cannot say enough about how great they are!

Emily is absolutely AMAZING! She made sure we were super comfortable during our engagement shoot + super flexible when it came to time + location. Her + her husband Matt shot our wedding day and both were super friendly to the guests. The photos were stunning and covered ever little detail- worth the investment!!

We first worked together with Emily when she shot our engagement session. My fiancée at the time was very nervous to be in front of the camera. Emily put him at ease and the photos came out perfect. The day of our wedding Emily arrived with her husband as her assistant. They were very professional and super fun. They put us at ease and captured so many great moments. We worked with both Emily and her husband, Matt, on the big day. Emily was with the bridal party and Matt with the groomsmen as we got ready. Emily even helped up assemble our bridesmaid flowers. They were non-intrusive during the ceremony, and for our photos, captured some beautiful scenery. The best part was when they pulled us away from everything to take photos during the sunset. It was a peaceful repose from the craziness of the wedding. I highly recommend Emily Delamater Photographer. We are beyond pleased.

Emily is amazing! She was so awesome from the start she was great at communicating we had many emails back and forth and we spoke on the phone a couple of times. It was difficult planning because we are out of state but Emily made it so simple. She was so easy to work with, very flexible. We met a month before the wedding to go over details and she was always easy to reach the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. On the day of she couldn't have been better! She made us feel so comfortable we didn't feel like there was a camera in our face. She and her husband were so great they made everything so fun! And I knew her photos were awesome from following her blog but oh my goodness when I got the full gallery of my photos I couldn't believe how amazing they were. She got the most amazing shots! Lots of candids which is exactly what I wanted. Looking at the photos just took me back to the day instantly! I couldn't have asked for anything more. I am so happy that I found Emily.

Emily Delamater is a wonderful photographer. She has a very creative and unique style of photography. She makes you feel so comfortable and at ease when taking your pictures. We had her do both our engagment session and wedding. At our wedding, we had also hired her assistant,Matt, and they were both amazing at our wedding. Our guests were actually raving about their style of photography. Needless to say our pictures came out fantastic. Emily was so easy to work with and I look forward to using her in the future for family sessions. :) I highly recommend her for your wedding day.

Emily did an amazing job with our wedding. Her eye for taking the most beautiful shots always amazes me. We used Emily to do both our engagement and wedding photos, and for both sets, I cannot stop looking at the pictures! She is truly talented. Emily can take what seems to me as an ordinary location or pose and make it into a stunning image. She captures the genuine moments, as well as the fun and goofy moments. She is a sweet person to be around and was fun and friendly to work with. She had our pictures back to us VERY quickly after the wedding and to this day, I'm still receiving compliments on the quality of work. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to hire Emily.

Emily's package included an engagement photo session as part of it, and being someone who hates being photographed, I was shocked at what amazing work resulted. And our wedding photos were even more amazing. Emily is an extremely talented and creative photographer and her work truly captures the moment - an incredibly difficult thing to do. Not only is she a great photographer, but she's fun and easy to work with, and really makes what could be a painful process of endlessly having a camera pointed at you really fun. We were so happy we used Emily as our photographer for our wedding, and will definitely use her for other occasions in the future. Thanks Emily!

Emily was a great value. She stayed about 8 hours and her husband took pictures as a second shooter. I feel like we definitely got more than our moneys worth. I wish she took a little more control during pictures by telling people to get in different combinations though. I couldn't remember all the different pictures i wanted and forgot to take a few. The end results were great. We got about 1100 pictures. She was friendly and great to work with!
