I've been passionate about photography since the age of ten and spent about 15 years experimenting with different films and cameras before switching to digital in 2015. Even though I went to school for photography I think I'm mostly self-taught. My professional experience includes fine art (land and seascapes), portraiture, photojournalism, weddings and events. Despite the fact that there are several new tools today to enhance photos, I stick to providing the most authentic imagery, working meticulously with Lightroom to achieve my vision. Post-production is helpful, but the true skill comes from the field. With a fine art background, I apply that eye to wedding photographs, focused on the background as much as the subjects. Constantly tuned in to my surroundings, candids are my strength. I specialize in smaller intimate weddings but am also comfortable with 100 guests. I've been a Nikon devotee for 25 years and always will be!
