We loved booking our hair and makeup with Emily’s company!
My hair stylist was Stephanie and she was wonderful. She made my mom and I comfortable when doing our trial and I everyone of the girls was obsessed with their hair for the wedding day. It poured down and it stayed beautiful all day.
Our makeup artist was Tarin and she was also incredible. I felt so beautiful and my makeup lasted all day. Every detail I wanted she listened to and gave us all exactly what we wanted.
Very good communication with this company, very professional and efficient. We got done with hair and makeup early and they were all ready to go for us first thing. Definitely recommend!

mily's wedding makeup package, and she was able to flawlessly handle makeup for myself, seven bridesmaids, and my flower girl, all with plenty of time to spare. Everyone felt so comfortable with her; she and her team were incredibly kind and attentive. I especially loved how she made my flower girl feel special, letting her sit in the chair and apply a little sparkle!
The truly remarkable moment was when Emily saved the day with hair. After my original stylist backed out the week before the wedding, Emily quickly brought in her team, gave me a trial, and executed beautiful hairstyles for all nine of us within a week’s notice.
The entire team was professional and made us all feel comfortable and beautiful. They used high-quality products, and our hair and makeup lasted flawlessly all day long, even on a very hot Missouri afternoon. We cannot recommend Emily and her team highly enough!

ith me on the day of my wedding. I loved getting to know my makeup artist Skyler and my hair stylist Sam during my trial and getting to catch up with them day of! They both did an amazing job and I felt the company was very communicative and helpful! I even love that they have an Amazon list of items they recommend to buy. They both made me feel beautiful!!

ed for a romantic style updo, with loose curls hanging out all over, and my stylist made some suggestions based off of my hair type, and we added some twists in my hair as well. It turned out great.
It got a little messed up after all the pictures we did before and after the ceremony, and I'm not that great at touching up my own hair, so I wish I had either used more hairspray or spent the extra money to have the hair stylist stick around for touchups before the ceremony! It's nice that Emily Edgar Makeup offers that (they do makeup touch ups, at least).

about answering emails, attentively asking questions about the venue, my dress, details, etc. that reflected in her make-up artistry and was very responsive to inspirational pictures that I had conjured up. Day of, her and Skylar were incredible about getting myself and my girls picture perfect and on time. makeup trial, she asked several questions about our wedding (location, flowers, decor, etc) in order to create a clear "mental image" of what our big day would look like. She also asked about what I wanted in my wedding look as well as how I wore my make up on a day to day basis. These conversations were great, as I wear little makeup on a day to day basis and wanted a wedding-day look that enhanced, rather than covered, my natural features. After the trail, Emily followed up to ask how I liked the makeup as well as how the makeup wore throughout the day. On our wedding day, Emily was amazing. She listened to all of my bridesmaids as well as my husband and I's mothers to create a cohesive look that still met each individual's desires. Emily even (for free) applied some lip gloss and blush to our flower girls - who absolutely ADORED getting ready with us girls. My wedding look was exactly as I wanted! Before leaving, Emily touched up my bridesmaids makeup and left me with some touch up lip color to use throughout the night. I received countless compliments on my makeup throughout the night and, most importantly, felt beautiful. You will not regret hiring Emily Edgar for your wedding or any other special event!
