We used Emily Elizabeth Studios for our wedding and engagement photos. Both went quite well.
THEN they pulled a NO-SHOW for our newborn photo shoot - I had to find out they weren’t coming by calling them half an hour into the shoot to find out... if they got lost; they returned my call with a half-baked excuse and said they would not be able to make it. They also said they would contact us to reschedule. They did not.
This is a deal breaker not just because it’s a.) unprofessional or because b.) we prepped an hour for the shoot and c.) I missed an hour of work and pay, but mostly because d) we missed that crucial two-week cutoff. Baby photos are meant for babies under two weeks, so unfortunately the window for baby photos is over.
The no-show brings their rating down all the way to 1 star, because they could do this to anyone if they did it to return customers like us.
