Where to begin, Emily and Jim are a wedding DREAM TEAM! We had originally planned on a destination wedding, when COVID hit and we had to re-plan stateside Emily and Jim were more than just understanding, they grieved the wedding we had originally planned right alongside us. While it wasn't the original dream, Emily and Jim made our day more special than we could have ever imagined. The Harys truly feel like a part of the family after capturing our intimate, at-home wedding in Greenville, SC. Emily is everyone's dream wedding photographer. My fiance and I immediately fell in love with her ability to capture emotions and candid moments and booked her right away. We had a destination engagement shoot, which Emily researched and planned. She even helped us with outfit guides and props we could bring. The day before our shoot, Emily scoped out several locations on her own. The day of, we got there early before any crowds and had almost 3 hours exploring and taking pictures. We were both nervous about being awkward in front of the camera, but Emily made us feel incredibly comfortable. We had SO much fun and she captured genuine, beautiful moments. We have received rave reviews on our pictures. The lighting, the color, the emotion - this was a day we will never forget and we are beyond grateful to have hundreds of PERFECT pictures to admire forever.

After booking our venue and choosing our date, finding the perfect wedding photographer to document our day was our highest priority. After an intense search, we found Emily Hary Photography. I loved her shooting and editing style and how her photos turned out. She was super quick to respond to all of my questions. We were really nervous for our engagement shoot. My husband and I had never had professional photos taken together before, but Emily and Jim made it so much fun! And Emily was down to get into Lake Michigan! We had a blast and felt completely comfortable with them. The next morning, Emily sent us a sneak peak, and we were literally giddy with excitement after just one photo! The rest of the images from our engagement shoot were amazing, and all of our friends and family loved how they turned out and that they weren’t your “typical” engagement photos. We knew we definitely made the right choice! Come wedding time, Emily was very helpful setting up a timeline for the day. And they worked above and beyond what we expected! We wanted to go to a waterfall in a park nearby our venue for some portraits. Emily and Jim got up extra early to scope the location out before coming to the venue to get started shooting for the day. Jim also took the initiative to repurpose our arch flower display to a little rowboat to make it look extra dreamy for dusk photos. They captured so many important moments of our day and literally stayed until everyone else was leaving. We got our sneak peaks within a day or so and we were beyond excited. We knew that receiving the rest of our gallery would be well worth the wait! And it was! It was like reliving that special day all over again. I love that we have professional photos professionally printed all over our house and in a few albums to enjoy forever. You wont regret choosing Emily & Jim as your wedding photographers!

Emily and Jim captured our special day in ways we couldn't even imagine. They are so much fun to work with and helped get us out of our comfort zone to capture spectacular images. They even flew out to Minnesota to do our engagement shots with us. She is especially talented at finding unique outdoors spots that turn out to be breathtaking backdrops. Would highly recommend Emily to all!
