I had the absolute honor and pleasure of getting to work with Emily and my goodness, it was a blessing. The way she sees the world and captures it, it beautiful! Not to mention she treats everyone with so much love and respect, it is wonderful and needed during such a crazy time! Do yourself a favor and hire this incredible woman.

Could not have asked for a better photographer or person to capture our big day!! Emily is the very best from her calm, cool, and collected, friendly personality to her amazing ability to translate the true essence of our special day into photos. From the first phone call with Emily, I knew she would be a perfect fit. Throughout the entire planning process, she was so easy and fun to dream up our big day with. There were so many moments on our wedding day that I was fine keeping as truly incredible memories, but when we got our photos back SHE CAPTURED THEM. We are forever grateful for her talent. Every single one of her photos was pure magic. I couldn't recommend Emily enough for any size wedding!

I really enjoyed working with Emily. She is extremely professional and very easy to work with. She took pictures at the courthouse during our ceremony (scoping it out ahead of time for us) and also drove over an hour so that we could take pictures at Max Patch (her excellent recommendation). She made the day and photo-taking a fun experience and most importantly, she took gorgeous wedding photos. Emily definitely made our wedding feel special and we have beautiful pictures to remember the day. I would absolutely use her again if I ever have a major event in my life.

Emily is fun to work with, left us feeling very calm (we usually don't like cameras that much). We had the best conversations about traveling while we were shooting. She also was the one who found the perfect location for our baby bump photoshoot! It was such a magical place and we would have never found it ourselves! Thank you Emily, we look forward to shooting with you again (this time with baby helena!)

I had never done a professional shoot before, so I was pretty nervous the day of. Emily's energy is truly so calming that all that nervousness quickly went away. Emily joined us on a hike to our favorite spot for our engagement shoot. The photos turned out so natural looking and really captured the essence of my partner and I. Highly recommend for relaxed, natural, high quality photos .

We came across Emily on instragram and boy did we get lucky she was available when we were in Tulum! She took the most amazing engagement pictures of us, and I’m not sure how she made us look like models but she did! She brought music and instantly calmed our nerves and awkwardness and made the session not just of taking pictures but having a great time and she was able to capture our love in such a beautiful way! I can’t thank her enough and I 100000% recommend her!!! You will not regret hiring her she is amazing! And not to mention patient and easy to talk to, she even helped us pick outfits before our session and really relaxed us and gave us tips on how to make each other laugh so she was capturing REAL moments, not stagged tense smiles. She even gave us a sneak peak of the photos that same day, which I don’t even know how it was possible! If she is available BOOK HER!!!!

If you are looking for a photographer who will help capture you and your partner as your true selves, will take you on a journey, and someone who will inspire you to be a better person by the end of your session, look no further than Emily Kidd. My fiance and I were looking to get engagement pictures taken and were looking for someone who was experienced, not afraid to be the expert and ultimately capture the two of us in a real, authentic and genuine way (what's the point of getting engagement pictures taken if they don't capture the real YOU?!) After looking near and far, we are so thankful we found Emily Kidd. From the start, Emily was on point with her communication. She was timely, professional and was not scared to tell me if one of my crazy ideas may not be the best option for what I was ultimately looking for. I was not the professional in this situation and her transparency up front gave me the confidence that I was dealing with a true professional who wanted to make sure expectations were set. As soon as we met Emily, we immediately felt comfortable with her and knew we were able to be our true, authentic selves which would result in the absolute best pictures. I don't know what it is about her, if it was her experience, her energy or just warmth and fun but we immediately felt comfortable. This was HUGE in making sure that our pictures came across as being 100% us and nothing else. I can honestly say that getting our pictures taken by Emily didn't feel like getting our pictures taken. It felt like an experience that we will always remember due to how much fun we had and how comfortable we were. The one thing even better than that? Our pictures portrayed that 100% and we will be able to keep that memory for the rest of our lives.

words can't describe how happy we are. Emily is a ray of sunshine. she is talented beyond measure, kind-hearted, + all around such a pleasure to work with + know! the best way to put into words how much i recommend her is she made everything easy. with all of the stress + chaos that comes with planning a wedding, i was the least concerned about the photography. after talking to her, getting to know her + her work, i trusted that she would take care of everything (+more). no stress. no worries. such a simple process + a beautiful outcome. we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. emily is worth every penny + will absolutely deliver the photos of your dreams.
