Booking Emily was our first priority once we selected our wedding date! We were so happy she was available as I had been lusting after her photos on Instagram. Shortly after we were lucky enough to meet her and Jeremy at one of my bridesmaids wedding. Seeing how easy and relaxed Emily was and the photos that came back after the wedding instantly made us feel like we had made the best decision! Leading up to our wedding, Emily was super easy to communicate with and put us at ease over a dinner date. We felt like we had made a new friend and we thrilled to have her on our big day. Throughout our wedding day, Emily, Molly and Jeremy continued to be a breath of fresh air. Moments alone with them were some of the most calming, chillest moments we had all day! We were so thankful to be able to laugh with them and that comes through in our photos. After the wedding, our photos came back to us super fast and we are SO happy with the outcome. THE. BEST. From start to finish, Emily was worth every cent and was such a pleasure to work with. She made our wedding look exactly the way we wanted - just out of a magazine. We met with Emily a few months from our wedding date so that she could get to know us, our story and what we wanted from her as a photographer. She's so sweet, easy to work with, professional and so so talented. During the day of our wedding, Emily, and her assistant Molly, were so creative with their shots - they captured the little details of our venue, the design and overall feel. When they photographed us it was incredibly natural - we didn't want many posed shots and they did a GREAT job of capturing the moments that you think no one sees. After some first look photos before the ceremony, we didn't even know they was capturing the rest of the day and night. During the who wedding planning process, my husband and I made it a point to only hire the people who we truly felt we made a connection with - who were professional, talented and someone who we wanted to give business to. It meant a lot to us that the money we saved for this day was going to good people, who were good at what they do. That being said, we could not be happier with Emily. She is aces all around. If I saw pictures of my wedding as a bride-to-be, I'd still say "I want our wedding to look just like this". Thank you, Emily!!!

Looking back on decisions made with the wedding, inevitably there are more than a few things we would have changed slightly, or in some cases, done entirely different. Emily Kirke Photography was not one of those. There are people who shoot photographs, and then there are photographers; Emily is of the latter, and one of the best. Her eye for beautiful moments, capturing personality, love, and just pure warmth evokes such emotion in each of her photos that going through them was as much of a joy as the wedding day itself. It is difficult to find words of praise, because anything we say feels as though we have done a disservice to her work and how elated we are with what Emily has done for us. The truth is, most photographers can capture a moment, set up a shot, or pose you in a beautiful way, but all you have is the memory of just that; taking a photograph. With Emily it felt like we were shooting with a best friend; someone that wanted to create new moments for us, not centered on taking a photograph. And in the end we have photographs that bring us right back to each and every moment of the day; a picture where we can remember exactly what we were saying to each other to bring out that smile; a picture where we can remember the exact emotion we felt at that moment; a picture where we can remember the feeling of pure love in that exact moment. Thanks to Emily’s incredible work, we will be able to re-live these beautiful moments together for eternity, forever captured in our album. To say we are happy would be an understatement. We would recommend her without hesitation. Emily was as professional as she is lovely. She will forever be part of our family. Our gratitude sadly will never be enough to fully express how wonderful her work is. Emily truly is an artist unlike any other.

Emily brought sunshine to our rainy wedding day! The best part about the rain and clouds was our photos. I've only seen a few previews and am absolutely in love! My husband is a tough egg to crack and after rehashing our wedding the next day, we both agreed our photos together were our favorite part. Everything felt so natural, I didn't even feel like Emily was there with us. It was so intimate. We will surely recommend Emily to all family and friends and will be in touch again once we start a family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
