I hired Emily relatively last minute to shoot my sister's unusual wedding on top of a mesa in the middle of the desert. She was amazing to work with in every way - communicative, flexible, timely and not daunted by the nonstandard nature of the gig. Her work was tremendous - great framing, excellent use of natural light and attractive but non overly aggressive post-processing of images. Most importantly, she brilliantly showcased the personality and context of the couple and the occasion. 100% recommended.

We HIGHLY recommend Emily if you are planning on an elopement or adventure-style wedding in her area, or beyond! (I think she enjoys traveling ;) )We're from Colorado, but we've been to Moab a few times before we decided to elope there at one of our favorite locations. Having Emily as our photographer was definitely the best decision we made as far as wedding planning goes. She is so talented and artistic in her work, she knows what she's doing, that's for sure! Emily was more than just a photographer, her communication throughout made us feel very comfortable and it was so easy working out a timeline for our special day, even though we were planning a sunrise first look before the ceremony all on a dirt trail leading to the edge of a cliff! Emily knew the exact area we wanted to elope, she knew the right way to cross the water to make it to our location (it was an adventure!) and she added back up support for locations and gave us information for local vendors. We had the best BBQ ever for rehearsal dinner because of Emily's recommendation! It's been so much fun following her on instagram while planning for our own wedding and seeing all of the beautiful moments she's currently working on- she really makes you feel like you're good friends, even after the big day! Emily has a talent that you can't get from just any photographer, she has an ability to capture the feelings and the intensity of the landscape like a true artist. We are so grateful that we found Emily, you definitely want her as your photographer!

Emily took engagment photos for my fiance and I during a recent vacation in Moab UT. I was a little nervous booking someone remotely but booking her has been our best wedding planning decision so far! She promptly answered the many questions I asked prior to our engagment session and even gave me outfit suggestions and viewed my Pinterest board to get a feel for my style. Emily arrived at our location early to scope out a brand new little spot she hadn't been to before that turned out to be amazing! We were pretty nervous starting out but she made us feel very comfortable and confident without being the "cheesy photographer". We received our galery today and cannot believe how flattering and beautiful all the photos are. Emily has a knack for creating flateering poses and you will look great in your photos!
