About this vendor
Emily Kowalski Photography is your naturally curly, sometimes sarcastic, obsessed-with-small-town-life photographer based near Omaha, NE. I’ve made it my goal in my photography career to cater to each couple’s experience to their exact needs. I realize that some couples need a lot of direction. They need to be told exactly where to stand and what to do with their hands. Other couples need hardly any coaching and fall right into comfortably moving through poses on their own. I take the time to pay attention and gauge what a couple needs, so their experience with me produces photos that look natural and easy! #modelstatus! No matter how comfortable you might be in front of the camera, I’ve got you covered!
I’ve shot close to 200 weddings in the course of 8 years, and I’ve been published in Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine, both in print and online. My work has been featured in Wyoming Weddings Magazine, Borrowed & Blue, and Modern Weddings. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in Photography from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I'd love to be YOUR photographer!

A small detail I appreciated was how she took the time to learn our family members' names, it felt more personal. hoto. Not comfortable in front of the camera? Not a problem! She makes every session so much fun. She is a quick thinker which makes for some of the most beautiful photos and best laughs. I find that some photographers are so cookie cutter and posed. Not Emily Kowalski Photography.
I would 10/10 recommend Emily for wedding photography. She is so sweet and did an amazing job. Her pictures are beautiful and her personality made a great fit.

I wish that I could give Emily more than 5 stars, because she was by far our favorite wedding vendor to work with for our big day. She did our engagement photos and wedding photos,...
both of which turned out absolutely stunning. She is both professional and easy to work with, which is hard to come by in a photographer. Emily captured our wedding day so perfectly, and we have gotten so many compliments on our photos already. I always was worried about how my wedding photos would turn out because I tend to be pretty unphotogenic, but we have so many photos that seriously look like they are straight off of a Pinterest board.

iated being able to give her my list of lineups that I wanted for pictures and she took it from there. I didn't have to think of poses or anything, granted if there was something I wanted she made sure we tried it. But, I trusted her completely and that was my first time meeting her.
I treasure my pictures from my wedding, she captured all the important moments as well as the little details from that day.

and enjoy the whole process. She took the time to get to know us so she’d know what we wanted for our photos. Emily also took our engagement photos and she listened to all our crazy requests of including our horses and dogs. Overall, Emily went above and beyond for us and we couldn’t have been happier!

window to the moment in time. Her creativity is unrivaled. For example, she explored some double exposer shots while we were shooting and created a wedding photo from a fairytale. Really, you should just experience some of her wedding magic yourselves.

omfortable during our sessions, which is really important for us! She did our engagement photos, wedding, and our one year anniversary photos...and will no doubt be the photographer we choose to take any other photos for us in the future! oughout the big day. She puts careful thought and effort into everything she does. Emily listens to what you want and then delivers! When we booked her she sent us a cute gift and then sent an ornament at Christmas. She’s so sweet! All of that aside, Emily is incredibly talented. The pictures speak for themselves and we couldn’t have been happier with Emily as our photographer.
Emily really has an eye for detail as well as a kind and caring soul. She knows how to work with all sorts of people, is incredibly detail oriented, and makes sure to follow up wit...
h her clientele to ensure their happiness.
Something that really impressed me was her wedding day schedule; she came with a plan, helped me out so much when it came down to timing, and made sure everything stayed on track before, during, and after the wedding (at least in the photography realm anyway).
Her photos are amazing as well and at an incredibly fair price. The photos aren’t overly edited nor do they turn out like cheap polaroids; she knows how to use natural lighting to its fullest, and pose couples naturally.
Finally, she is willing to travel around in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska for her clients, she just asks that you cover hotel fees associated with this. Not a lot of photographers are willing to travel, and that only reflects on her as a professional.
So yeah, I would recommend Emily in a heartbeat.
We didn’t have a wedding planner or any idea how to keep the day flowing, Emily was amazing at helping us know what to do next!!! She was professional and so personable!! Highly re...

She not only kept us on schedule for the day, but made sure we got all of the pictures that we wanted. It was so nice to not have to worry about moments that could be missed on our big day. Our photos also turned out amazing. We couldn't have asked for more!
Emily is amazing! She captured our personalities perfectly! She makes you feel very comfortable and all the pictures turn out wonderfully! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

ooking at her website. While I am amazed with how lovely our photos turned out, what sets Emily apart from other photographers is the heart she has for each of her clients. The day of my wedding Emily was kind, knowledgeable, and prepared. She had a Bride Emergency kit ready, she checked in with me throughout the day to see if I needed anything, she made sure to get all the poses I requested, and she even handed tissues to me (gracefully and secretly) during the ceremony. She is truly incredible!
Emily is the absolute best. She is very friendly and professional. She is easy to communicate with and was extremely prompt at both the engagement session and on our wedding day.

Her photos are so gorgeous that we've had friends and family (some of whom are photographers themselves) express their admiration at her talent. She never seemed worried or stressed and always wore a smile.
Emily sent me a questionnaire with a timeline in it that was so good, I used it for my other vendors as well. I highly recommend Emily because no one else could have captured our wedding as well as she did.
Hire Emily. You'll be doing yourself a huge favor.

o us and of course we wanted the best quality possible. After looking at Emily's website, I was impressed and immediately reached out to her. She did our engagement photos in a remote area in Wyoming and they turned our AWESOME! The quality in the photos is sharp, clear, and artistic. I knew we found the perfect person to capture the most important day. Emily goes with the flow and is very easy going. She has great posing ideas and listened to what my husband and I wanted. We just received our wedding photos back and I cried! It was like I relived my wedding all over again! I'm glad I didn't hire a videographer because I didn't need one with Emily. I would recommend Emily for any of your photography needs!!!! She is truly the best!
