Emily Kowalski Photography is your naturally curly, sometimes sarcastic, obsessed-with-small-town-life photographer based near Omaha, NE. I’ve made it my goal in my photography career to cater to each couple’s experience to their exact needs. I realize that some couples need a lot of direction. They need to be told exactly where to stand and what to do with their hands. Other couples need hardly any coaching and fall right into comfortably moving through poses on their own. I take the time to pay attention and gauge what a couple needs, so their experience with me produces photos that look natural and easy! #modelstatus! No matter how comfortable you might be in front of the camera, I’ve got you covered!
I’ve shot close to 200 weddings in the course of 8 years, and I’ve been published in Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine, both in print and online. My work has been featured in Wyoming Weddings Magazine, Borrowed & Blue, and Modern Weddings. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art with an emphasis in Photography from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. I'd love to be YOUR photographer!

Something that really impressed me was her wedding day schedule; she came with a plan, helped me out so much when it came down to timing, and made sure everything stayed on track before, during, and after the wedding (at least in the photography realm anyway).
Her photos are amazing as well and at an incredibly fair price. The photos aren’t overly edited nor do they turn out like cheap polaroids; she knows how to use natural lighting to its fullest, and pose couples naturally.
Finally, she is willing to travel around in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska for her clients, she just asks that you cover hotel fees associated with this. Not a lot of photographers are willing to travel, and that only reflects on her as a professional.
So yeah, I would recommend Emily in a heartbeat.

The day of my wedding Emily was kind, knowledgeable, and prepared. She had a Bride Emergency kit ready, she checked in with me throughout the day to see if I needed anything, she made sure to get all the poses I requested, and she even handed tissues to me (gracefully and secretly) during the ceremony.
