Emily & her sister Rachel were p h e n o m e n a l !! From my first correspondence with her a few weeks before our clients' wedding, I could tell she was SO organized, on top of every little detail, and couldn't wait to meet her in person and see her in action shooting. As a planner, I work with a lot of photographers, but Emily is unmatched. She already had a timeline drafted for us to work off of and provided me with helpful information right off the bat, without even having to ask! I love that she keeps her business in the family; the two of them have a great dynamic and just "get" one another. Rachel would start shooting from another angle without Emily even having to ask her. They were both so much fun to work with too and brought energy and natural smiles to anyone who was behind their lens! This is SO important when booking a photographer for your big day. Sure, you can have someone who is really talented, but do they have a personality that you click with too? Remember, you'll spend a great majority of your day with your photographer. Emily & Rachel are so down to earth and everyone felt so comfortable with them! I can't recommend them enough and truly hope to work with them again in the near future!

I cannot say enough about Emily as our engagement and wedding photographer. We found her through a friend who recommended her, and I am SO thankful we did. Emily was great to work with, helped with wedding advice, calmed our covid stress and provided us our own timeline for what worked for us. She captured every special moment and emotion through our big day. Not only was she easy to work with, but she (and her assistant) is so talented and helps ease your nerves. She was able to capture natural photos that truly show the love and relationships. We changed our date, overall theme, and venue— she didn’t miss a beat. This girl is a gem and our pictures are stunning. We will use her for all our future photo needs, every bride needs Emily

There are not enough words to describe the talent that Emily has as a photographer. She photographed my husband and I’s engagement photos, small “Covid” ceremony in our backyard, and our larger outside reception. She worked with us as dates and plans changed many times, always making us feel at ease. Emily captured the joy in each of our wedding celebrations so well. Our pictures are incredible, and she photographed the spirit and happiness of each event perfectly. She truly puts you at ease and makes everyone feel comfortable. I highly recommend her!

My husband and I did a lot of research before choosing our wedding photographer. We were attracted to Emily's work because of the candid nature of her photography; she has a knack for capturing precious unposed moments that translate into memories for a lifetime. We used Emily both for our engagement photos (which was a great 'practice run' which we would highly recommend to get more comfortable in front of the camera for the wedding), and our wedding day in July of 2020. Emily is so easy to work with, laid back in her style but extremely professional, organized, and timely. She was quick to respond, on top of reminders of upcoming deadlines and making arrangements as our date approached. We had both our engagement and wedding photos completely edited and released to us well before we expected compared to what we had heard is an average timeline from other photographers, and to say we were blown away by the finished product would be a huge understatement. The person you trust to photograph your wedding day is such a critical decision and Emily is the best in terms of someone you can feel safe and well taken care of, comfortable in front of the camera, and a beautiful collection of memories to last a lifetime. We would highly recommend her for any photography needs and hope to use her again in the future for family pictures, etc.

Emily took exactly what I had in my mind for pictures and truly made them come to life, even better! She was so friendly through the whole process and I felt like I was talking to a friend, rather than a business person. Her responsiveness was timely, which puts a stressed and anxious bride at ease. She and her second shooter were prompt, gave great instructions, and meshed well with my bridal party. She constantly asked if there was anything I needed, which was so helpful in making sure everything I wanted was captured during our big day. So many things are going on so fast during your day, so her being there by my side made it easy for all those little moments to be shot. Our pictures are beautiful and I can't wait to print them for everyone to see.

I would highly recommend Emily Moelker photography for engagement and/or wedding photography! My husband and I are not usually comfortable in front of the camera, but Emily had us laughing and feeling like pros about 10 minutes into our engagement shoot. By the time our wedding came along we were totally comfortable with Emily and being in front of the camera. Emily helped to keep our entire day running smoothly and paid close attention to the requested shots I sent her. Not only is Emily fantastic with her clients, she is an incredible photographer. She has a careful eye and captures special moments and details in all of her pictures. We are absolutely in LOVE with all of the work she has done with us!

Emily was absolutely amazing! She kept up communication throughout the planning side of things and even helped me work out a few timeline things. Then on the day of she helped us figure out poses (since we didn't know what we wanted) and helped us stay on schedule. One of the biggest things that I appreciate about her work is that throughout the night, and especially during the ceremony, she was able to get really wonderful pictures without disrupting any of the events. She was amazing!
